Thank you for the kind note, we do try and since we run multiple facets of the business it is difficult to devote as much time as we wish to making video's. We have a number in the works so stay tuned. What type of content would you like to see?
@@autoobsessed1 I completely understand and admit to my selfishness in asking for more videos as I know how much work you put into each one! I don’t necessarily have any specific video requests as I appreciate the variety you guys produce and loved watching them before I put my phone down to sleep as I actually found them to calm the nervous system. I’ll be supporting the store and the channel either way. Cheers
@@BreezeMW Thank you for the feedback, it is nice to know what people are thinking and looking for. Glad to hear that the videos are making an impact for you and we will do our best to continue providing the content more often,
Saw their announcement a couple weeks ago. If they manage to translate the awesome power of the weird three inch they released to a full size long throw? They’ll have a winner. The first truly no compromise cordless. It’s Rupes, so ergonomics, build quality and all that being great are pretty much a given.
@@autoobsessed1 Finding out about the nearly $1000 price deflated my excitement. I know they put a ton of r&d into it, and I was holding off on a premium cordless until I saw what Rupes put out.. I knew it would be a lot, but that price is just too high for me personally. At $700 I’d have been in. But at least now I can pull the trigger on the Milwaukee without worry of being bummed if Rupes put out something better somewhat close to the same price. But *double* the price? With a proprietary unproven single tool battery platform? That’s a tough swallow. But I’m sure they’ll sell them faster than they can make them, so my opinion is pointless.. 😁

Rupes has not announced pricing yet, we will know on Monday Nov 6th. The machines will start to become available for sales January/February 2024 and we will start taking pre-orders soon.
Correct Rupes was not first to create a cordless polisher and they are not claiming to do so. The new Rupes HLR15/21 polishers have been completely re-engineered from the previous corded version of the LHR15/21 polishers.
Imo my thoughts on flex, torc, and any other polisher I will always have my favourite and it's the Rupes lhr 15 mark 3 reasoning cause of the less vibrations and just how it feels, with that said hopefully this will over come the performance and feel we will see.
30 Minute battery time? Tough to make money on that. I assume extra batteries will be &100 to $150 each? I think ill wait for the refresh. Love the concept tho...
The 30 minute time is conservative, that runtime is based on heavy usage when most runtime rating are maximum runtime with the machine running, We are told the guys at Rupes put it through some serious testing and this machine performed longer than the competition. Our use with the iBrid Nano and iBrid Mini 75, we have never had an issue with battery time so we are sure Rupes will not disappoint. Machines will be available in the new year so we will see it in real action then.
I have the hlr75. It came with two batteries. Battery last about 40 minutes. And charges in 30 minutes. So I am able to continue working without having to stop and wait
3D one is far superior than Rupes compounds in almost every way. No dust, long working time, doesn’t stain, and leaves nothing behind. Good luck trying to beat that
I have the 12mm throw 3" Mirka and the dang thing is amazing. It is so smooth and quiet. My SIL and I were doing a Sprinter van (the long tall one). He ran a 5" 15mm and I ran the Mirka. I had another 5" 15mm to go to after I finished the areas where 3" worked better and I just kept on using the Mirka anyplace I could. I hear tell the price on the Rupes cordless 5/15mm is going to be about 800.

They have done it, it is an amazing machine and once again a first for the detailing industry from Rupes.

*Smooth as Mirka????*
Extremely smooth and impressive!
is it due to the plastic gear set? does Mirka also have a plastic gear set? makes me wonder about the longevity. @@autoobsessed1
Not sure on Mirka. The entire machine is designed from ground up, gears, motor the works. It is impressive.
