I'm trying to make Yahtzee score boards on a chalkboard. I want the points we write to be erasable but I want the description of what the points are for to be permanently on the chalkboard. Do you have any ideas how I can have both the permanent and eraseable parts on the chalkboard?
Hi Jamie, I've found that chalkboard markers tend to be much more permanent. You usually some sort of cleaning product to erase. But regular chalk is much more erasable, so you could try to write the description with a pen and the points with a regular chalk stick or pencil. :)
It will be permanent if left alone. You'd really have to scrub at it/clean it to get it off. I thought you were asking because you were hoping to remove it. If you want it to stay on something, it definitely will :)
guauu asombra mucho la belleza de esta chica!!!
Great ideas. You could use newspaper to protect the gravel/grass from overspray.
Great job with the DIY chaulkboard. You are darling and a great teacher!
I love your dog...and the chalkboards too!
Love this video! Great tips and I am going to try this out for some wedding signs. Thank you!
you could totally do neon markers on the non painted side of the glass too! love your new channel Britt.
Ohhh I love that idea!
These signs are so cool!! Will make one for my mommy for Christmas~~
Awesome!!
Thanks for the video, i sell these wood slices in my area and i REALLY love how the wood piece turned out
that was super easy ~ thx (kim)
Instead of using painter's tape, use aluminum foil. A sheet of foil would have prevented the overspray....and it "molds" around the clip.

Is the chalk marker permanent?
Kinda sorta - it can be removed for the most part by cleaning it with water, but not just with an eraser, like normal chalk.
Britt Hanlon then is there a way to make it permanent?
