Dude, you saved me at least $400! I took my 2006 Jeep Liberty to a mechanic, and he told me that I needed a blower motor in addition to the resistor. I followed your video step by step and did the repair myself. You just gained a new subscriber. Thanks and many thumbs up 👍!
By far the best comprehensive repair video I’ve watched in a long time. I would say the only thing missing to make it perfect is displaying what the part number is, but understand it could different depending on year/model. Off to Autozone to buy a new resistor, thanks!
Loved this video. Mine just started to go wrong and now I don't have to wait for my husband to fix it. With this video I know I can do this. Thank you, thank you.
My liberty say for a couple years...I had no air from vents, checked fuses, relays, and replaced resistor. Went for a ride... Excite to have air that changed flow when I switched from 1,2,3,&4. Stopped at a traffic light and so did the air flow. I'm thinking blower motor. Should I check or replace anything else?
Single Mom here in 2024. Thank you for this video! It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It would have cost me to have someone else do this, and now I can do it myself!
The issue I got with my Liberty is that, even though the fan works on all speeds, it only blows air out the top (defroster) regardless of which vent setting is used (front, feet, defrost, recirc etc.) Any idea on why this is??

Thank you so much for this video. The A/C only worked on 3 and 4… this fix made it work on all modes on my 02 Liberty.

What does the button in the middle do, not the button with the snowflake on it, but the other one next to it.
My right side blower works on 3 and 4 position but the left does not on 1&2 positions?
I had this fixed by a shop a few years ago and it appears they broke my lock tab because it's missing. Any advice on how to unlock it?
Excellent video
