They are looking very nice mate, today I have started painting up Warlords British infantry for the Peninsular war & I feel exactly the same about them as you did with these, after painting the Front Rank Brits these Warlord figures just seem to have something missing.
We are so Scottish with our use of paint on figures! I always keep a few figures around (especially mounted) just encase I put out to much Vallejo paint. Hate wasting big blobs of Vallejo paint on my 15's. Lovely figures, Red came out very nice!
Looking great, I agree with your sentiments regarding the initial plastic thoughts - the bodies are the same as their line infantry I think, I was a bit dissapointed by them, although they do paint up quite good - for the money they are worth it

Sweet looking Naps bud.. really are a joy to see. Keep it up mate.
Those Hanoverians are beautiful mate. I'm quite fond of the uniforms myself.

Liberator240 there a bit rigid in poses but look nice painted up
Nice to see some in progress. Far too cold in my loft at the moment to get much done without running up a huge winter bill unfortunately.
Exceptional work. What method did you use for the yellow of the sashes and hat bands? Colours? It is very rich, but not cartoony at all.
Thanks David, the yellow was done firstly with citadel layer balor brown then highlighted with citadel base averland sunsent.
Cheers mate, I'll be honest, it looks a lot more effort that what you have described. Great skills maestro.
ye thats all i used for the yellow as im trying to finish these quickly, cheers pal.
