    When I first discovered whipped cottage cheese (a few years ago) it was a total game changer. The texture is soft and creamy, but with a little bit of the cottage cheese tang - like a softer version of cream cheese. So tasty!

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  10 місяців тому

      So true Julie, it's not just about that wonderful creamy texture, but also that distinctive cottage cheese flavor. Sometimes I find it too runny, but that really depends what type of recipe I'm making, but cheesecloth solves that problem.

    Who knew you could take lumpy cottage cheese and make it into a smooth base for so many versatile dishes? Well, Sasha figured it out. I can't wait to give this a try--pudding, desserts, spreads, dips, so many choices. Thank you, Sasha, for sharing your expertise and creativity with us. No oats in this one, but I think we can do without in this one recipe to have another healthy addition to our diets. (And something cool sounds great when we are dealing with temperatures over 110 degrees F! 🥵) Thank you, Sasha. You are truly our 5-star UA-cam creator! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥰

No oats in this one, but I think nobody will miss it with these super easy and delicious desserts (and snacks). @@HowToCookSmarter Hi Sasha, Thanks very much for your reply and your concern. Yes, Phoenix has become famous for very warm temperatures but we get out early in the day and are lucky that our air conditioning works very well. I also got away for a girls' vacation in California, so that was a nice break. One of my friends had a hiking vacation in Croatia with her family and had an incredible time. I hope you live closer to the mountains so you can stay cool in the summer heat. And, of course, coming up with recipes that keep us away from the hot stove is also very helpful. Stay well and thanks for all you do!

      Hi! It's just a better way to enjoy cottage cheese, and add more protein to your diet.

  • @TheFeldhamster
    @TheFeldhamster 10 місяців тому

    What is the difference to just using cream cheese? I'm not going to get a food processor dirty (those things are notoriously fiddly to clean) when I can simply smear cream cheese on my bread instead.
    As for the pudding like deserts: I mix cream cheese and plain yogurt instead. You can do that just by stirring with a fork, no food processor needed. Best when the yogurt container is half empty anyway, just pop in the cream cheese and stir - done. And no extra dirty dish or machine.
    You can mix in cocoa powder, or vanilla sugar, or peanut butter or whatever you like. Personally, I like the cream cheese + yogurt + peanut butter version the best. Top with raspberries, a sprinkle of oats (or a crumbled cookie), put some cinnamon and honey on top - yum.
