Loved watching the movie, The great Indian kitchen. There are so many of my friends and family members who are going through the similar situations. It's all the same regardless of religion.
They have no choice or courage to walk away due to various reasons like income, family, children, society etc. Men take advantage of this helplessness. In the end woman is the loser. Even in your movie, Suraj gets married to another young girl and enjoys everything from the start, whereas Nimisha loses her married life, probably her own family as well. Of course, girls family is more at risk of attacks from the society and they are always worried about the girls future.
Anyways, if we can make some change in anyone's life, well and good. Best wishes.
