Rublev needs anger management
He's been working with sports psychiatrist for years. There is clearly something going on in his life behind the scene, that's having impact on him handling stressful moments. He's falling apart, and seems like he needs to call Muguruza for the advice
@@dmitryvershinin There's nothing wrong with his life, he just has an explosive behavior. It's always been like this and now it's worse because he's losing all his matches
Huh, Charlie Sheen?😮
@@dmitryvershininPutin is ruin his country
@@dmitryvershinin that psychologist did not help much the way it seems
You get the chills watching Rafa play and especially when he turns to hit forehand inside-out. Brings back so many memories from my childhood. Legend, el Matador!
🇪🇸🔥🔥
Oh my god nostalgia for me too. Absolute legend 🥲
With Rublev’s tendency to implode at the smallest unforced error it’s honestly amazing that he’s stayed firmly in the top 10 since 2020
he cant really compete among top 20 players with that backhand , slice bakchand and net play
@@Spanker2023the only thing I agree with you is his net game, his slice and backhand are good
@@Spanker2023nah Rublev has a nice slice and his backhand is really solid. His main issue is the lack of drop shots and hesitancy to approach the net at all.
I think he left top 10 for like a week in 2022 but agree overall
Few tools?
Since the incident in the game against Bublik Rublev has lost his way
he lost his way prior to that.
Yep, and he also played a charity match with Khachanov in Los Angeles to support Armenian refugees, when Russia has so much blood on their hands 👊🏽
@@orkhanb.7447 1) First of all, USA has about quadruple blood on their hands(if you want me to explain further, i'll be glad to). 2) Far from me to condone something as gruesome as war, but i bet you don't even know why it happens in the first place. 3) What does that have to do with Rublev or Khachanov as individuals? 4) How old are you? @@jay_kulina you should not bother to feed the troll. Or just tell em to STFU. Plain and simple ☺️
Rublev basically angered himself out of the match.
One of the most idiotic player nowadays
Nakashima isn’t going to beat himself, and that is the problem for Rublev. He knows Brandon is mentally resilient
@@Stu49583 Don't confuse idiocy with emotion. Rublev is far from stupid.
I have to agree with this. Nakashima is a good player, but he's American. There's no way a top 100 American player beats a top 10 player from Europe on clay without the European player having a bad day.
I always watch his matches to see if he's going to have an epic meltdown like he does here 🤣
How can you be the most likeable dude off court, and an absolute child on court. Gotta ask Rublev haha
Great to see the Clay GOAT back in action, we all missed him!
Awesome to see Nadal back on clay. Such a unique player; no one hits the ball like him. Hope he stays healthy for Madrid, Rome and RG!!
Yes, he's one of the few that can handle Djokovic on clay!
He is not gonna even win a set with djokovic.@@pauljohnson6019
@@pauljohnson6019Well yeah he’s the only player better than Djokovic on clay
@@wave1468 Only player? There's others too, Alcaraz, Wawrinka beat him in 2015, Thiem, and some others that are better on clay, he's not favourite for RG, Novak might not even reach 2nd week.
@@pauljohnson6019 Djokovic is the only player to beat Nadal twice at RG and has all the clay masters more than once beating Nadal in the process. Has made more finals at RG and has won more RG than anyone else on tour. Therefore Nadal is the only clay court player better than him
It’s really so sad for schwartzman
I feel awful for him really
I know. He's so talented but he's badly out of form at the moment.
Think about all the money he has and the sadness is lessened
He has achieved great success in tennis. He should be proud.
Lajovic is bad news on clay for any player
He seems defeated before the match
ANYONE who played Nadal first up in this event was gonna be in for the greatest mental battle ever second to the first round at Roland garros lol
Here's an interesting thought-
Nadal will be retiring because his body can't keep up, not necessarily because his actual game has dipped.
Nadal is a tactical genius who will use the entire court and a wide array of shots to get the better of the opponent.
When his body is fit, even though his foot speed has drastically reduced since his prime, his game still possesses a significant challenge to even the top players, especially on clay.
Whereas Djokovic will be retiring not because his body can't keep up, but because the opponents have figured out his game.
Djoko relies on phenomenal defense, precison, consistency, and depth of his groundstrokes.
Even if there is a slight decline in his foot speed and/or a small drop in his power, the top players will get the better of him. I'm talking of the likes of Sinner, Alcaraz, and even Zverev.
True!
Rafa had plenty of chances to figure out Nole's game during his prime, needless to say he failed to do so plenty of times too, comparisons are rude at this point.
To disregard the impact that age is having on djokovic and say that the cause of djokovic retireing will be people beating him because they can beat his game is in my opinion to say djokovic cannot be the best player of all time because sinner, alcaraz, (zverev?) can beat him consistently in his prime. They couldnt. They havnt figured out his game. Sinners baseline game has gotten better, he has more stamina than djokovic (age) and more power, partially age, mainly imo tactical and less precision imo cus he isnt playing as much as he is old.
@lowercasehorse2363
You've misinterpreted it. Djokovic is GOAT. There's no debate on that.
Slight decline in foot speed and power (obviously due to age) will have his closest rivals figuring out his game (as in being actually able to beat him, when in the past it was improbable). Why? Because his game is heavily baseline dependent, and those two parameters (footspeed and power) are two integral elements of the baseline game.
Federer, Nadal (especially the former) had/have a more all court game. They can transition to net/mid court relatively easier than the Serb, if they're unable to finish points off the baseline.
@@serbianbeast1733 ok, to me figuring out means there is an exploitable part of djokovic's game that they have only now found out due to him being old.
Ppl arnt figuring it out, djokovic is slower, less explosive and has to rely on other ways to stay no.1 than just baseline

It is seriously getting out of control!!
First time in my life I saw Rublev play a dropshot
😅 He is a mindless bhew bot, smashing the ball with such anger as if he had a personal vendetta against the ball. Clueless player.
So sad to see Diego like this. He was my favorite player. Hope he can get back one day.
Rublev never disappoints with his anger theatre :)
Only sure thing in life is Rublev obliterating his racquet at the end of the match he loses.
Fantastic playing from Arnaldi today especially against a Baez who also seemed on point
Definitely, Rublev needs some love from Dimitrov to destress him 😂
So sad to see Diego being just a shadow of the player he once was 😢

Now he is smaller than his shadow :/
its absolutely fine his place is not higher than challanger

Rublev needs a damn Xanax when he plays. Like it’s okay if you make a mistake.
Bravo Matteo!!!!!!❤🇮🇹
It’s sad to see Rublev, with such incredible talents, still isn’t able to conquer his inner demon and transcend his teenage self 😢
If you understand tennis, then there’s nothing talented about him. He just hits balls as hard as he can. He has no creativity, no drop shots, no slices, no net play
@@orkhanb.7447 if you understand tennis then you would know the 8th best tennis player in the world is talented. you will never reach even a sliver of what he has done instead of sitting infront of a screen calling him untalented. you are a clown and a loser, be quiet
Limited skills. Hence his 1/4 finals stats. And clueless on clay with flat shots
Boring playstyle
@@orkhanb.7447 To be able to strike balls with such ferocity and consistency is itself quite spectacular. Federer himself once praised Rublev as one of the brightest young stars.
Rublev needs to take some time off. Maybe go meditate under a waterfall or on a mountain somewhere.
If once in a while Rublev manages to get through a match without losing his mind, he could become one helluva player.
Great job Brandon!! Seeing massive improvements in the footwork and into the 10 time in no time coming soon. Everyone look out.
Feeling bad for Rublev now... he deserved the DQ in Dubai, but hope he gets some help and picks himself back up soon.
Feeling bad ? This dude is mental
Rafe is so speacial!

Rublev getting handled. Tbh though, he's getting super in-form dudes in R1 who aren't afraid of his pace. He'll be back. I don't like him, but he's Top 10 caliber and he'll be fine.

rublev por favor hace algo con tu temperamento
I love Rublev's forehand the most. Hope to see him calm down and fire his bullet forehand more and more. see you next match bro.
I never get tired of Rublevs outbursts. Entertainment at its finest 😂😂😂
What a privilege to come home and see my teenage tennis hero playing, you never know when it will be the last time
I cant determine who is Baez and who is Arnaldi in that match.
At this point, I just watch Rublev for his epic meltdowns
I always cheer against him to see his meltdowns 😅
Рубль, ну поменяй ты уже тренера. Пока еще не поздно. Подход к эмоциям просто убивает твой теннис, дальше будет хуже, если не взяться сейчас
Fully packed stadium for a first round match? It just demonstrates the popularity of the King of Clay.

Rafa the GOAT, the true legend! No matter what goes on this season for him, he has nothing to prove! He has changed tennis forever, He is the Ultimate legend forever and have won all of our hearts forever!!!
VAMOS! ❤
Rublev's emotions are understandable. He does not have the high looping trajectory and not able to play defensive forehands that neutralize the point. He thinks it is the line call that is working against him. On this surface, maybe he should try the RPM Blast and Luxilon hybrid.
Great to see King Rafa back on tour!! Vamos Rafa
Rublev is slowly morphing into his Green Goblin Villain Arc. Fight it Rublev! Lol
Rublev is an exceptional player. I really hope he can find someone to help him cope with the mental side of the sport.

I don't know why Rublev still has fans this point...
Vamos, Rafa!
that shot 1:34 is why i love this guy
Looks like the wind is not strong enough to diminish the candle.. it's going to burn for few more days, months or maybe .. don't know
Clearly Nadal has trained a lot on clay the last couple of months. Question is whether he will stay healthy for the whole clay season. If he does, better watch out. Guy will find his rhythm till Roland Garros and will be super dangerous. For the rest of the surfaces I don't see him as contender at 38 primarily because of movement. He still has the shots, but legs will be an issue.
It's so nice to see Nadal congratulations👏👏
Welcome back Rafa the GOAT!
Feel-good moment for the day this Nadal game.
Nakashima is in a resurgent mode! He reached n.43 after a strong 2022 season, but seemed to lose confidence in 2023, with unforced errors and weak serving making him exit very early from any tournament he played and drop out of the top 100. His backhand has always been a joy to watch and his service games are becoming very hard to break. He was just solid as a rock on clay today against Rublev, who very likely underestimated him and then mentally self-imploded, as he has been doing it too often for the ridiculous amount of skills he has. Hope that Nakashima keeps this level and climbs the rankings back up to where he belongs.
Vamos Rafa!!!
Wasn't Rublev one of the most beloved on the circuit? Well now he is more psychopath than Kyrigios since for months he has been reacting with a sick fury such as hitting his racket, himself or yelling at judges
He's an actor revealing his true self
The default in Dubai mentally got to him I think
Did you start watching tennis yesterday? Rubles has always been like that. It’s just he wasn’t losing that much. He is going through some rough time now.
It's called roid rage
He's fapping too much- that's why he can't concentrate enough- he needs to do monk mode seriously!
Rublev must be hospitalized
Rublev headed south. Heck of a run though
It's wonderful to see Nadal back on clay after that 2022 RG final some 620 days ago, and even more wonderful to see him playing some very strong points with powerful strokes and exquisite touch. One can't shake the eery feeling each one of Nadal's matches could be his last, so any tennis fan should cherish them as a gift. Cobolli was a bit of a deer-in-the-headlights, and his backhand deserted him, but one can't blame him for his nerves at 21 facing a legend. De Minaur will be a completely different level of test, but if Nadal feels good physically for the entire match anything is possible.
Great to see Rafa back playing tennis! 🙂

I feel soo sorry for Rublev because he is a good player but he can't control his anger.
So, I think he needs someone to give goods advice and how he can control the game😊
Not sure this was a real test for Nadal. The points were short and his opponents seem to have made a lot unforced errors. Still good to see him back on the tennis court.
Diego stayed in top 15 for like 4 years and now struggling to win a match.. sad to see him like this..

Rublev needs a therapist. Being a star as a junior doesn’t entitle you to win them all as a, ahem, gentleman, right?... His behaviour on court when things aren’t going his way is nothing short of appalling, especially beings as he’s such a ‘devout’ and pious man when he wins. Unbelievable!
