@@shawnneice4322 He means they normally observe crimes taking place and report them to police. They are not always authorized to chase someone like that. He is unarmed security; armed security have much more leeway with pursuing criminals.
I bet you that if he in fact did get shot, the casino would pull up some inane policy they have from years ago in very small print, saying you are not allowed to chase. His family wouldn't have gotten anything. Very selfless of him to do that though.

I'm shocked that he chased the dude. In California most security guards aren't allowed to do anything other than call the cops. They're not even allowed to break up a fight or make any physical contact. Probably too many workers comp claims.
I did security in Vegas for 14 years, what that guy did was dumb not heroic... He chased a man who he knew was armed while he himself was not armed, just to retrieve credit cards and IDs that are easily replaced... His life is not, had he died those women would've went back to their home country and never thought twice about him 🤷🏾♂️

To be fair mine was suspended for 9 months and I had no idea until I tried to renew it. They never sent a letter or contacted me. I paid my speeding ticket within the week I got it, but still somehow ended up with a suspended license. Shit happens.
I had one that I didn’t realize because I’d paid the ticket but didn’t go back in for the second court date that I didn’t realize I had to go to once the fine was paid off. Tried renewing my license, was told it was suspended and to go to the courthouse to find out why. Guess what they do at the court house if you missed a court date? They put out a warrant and suspend your license resulting in my extremely surprising arrest while just trying to renew a license lol. It was just book and release but still not a fun way to spend a couple hours.

The facts are that there are too many corrupt cops and too many cops that don't hold them accountable. Addressing that is far more important than praising someone for doing the very thing they chose to get paid for.

It's possible it's not purely experience. I am sure it has a lot to do with it but it could be a genetic predeposition as well. How would you solve that? How much are people really liable for? Everyone is supposed to maintain composure and act rationally but it's possible it is more difficult for some compared to others. Does that mean they just need a special way of being raised or medicine to try and compensate for that? If that will even work? Which there is no certainty. I suppose the world is not fair. Everyone held at the same standards yet are built to be different. It hurts to imagine that some may just be genetically structured to not fit in with society's standards and will suffer for it their entire lives. I suppose you don't have control over how you are raised either though.

No self control? What did he do? In the video he was heading away from the officer, then a cut, then the father is getting cuffed. What did he do?
@@Mpetey123 I wasn't saying anything about how justified his arrest was. However, I think it's fair to suggest his animated and boisterous attitude played a role in the officer deciding to arrest him, if that makes any sense.
Personally I'd make a case that the officer arrested him in order to stop him from doing something he'd regret, as well as to be with his son. My reasoning is all the guy did was be belligerent to an extent. I also don't think that this is the worst person this officer has ever had to deal with before. So other than the cop being a crook on a power trip which is just a stereotype, I don't see why he would have arrested him. But again, that's not really the statement I was trying to make lol, she's sleeping alone that night with a husband and son in jail, that's got to be a gut-wrenching feeling...
