This video was excellent !
Hello I this really helps me thank you so much for your help!!!
Tá fáilte romhat 😊
I think of questions as the five Q's. They belong to a whole class of words including 4 and 5 which begin with P in the Brythonic languages. Due to Grimm's law these all soften to "f" and "w" in English. I find this fascinating. I have a theory that the change from hard "c" in other languages is some sort of "cacophony" avoidance. There is a deliberate bad pun in there somewhere.
Part 3 please :)
phonetic spelling would help as hard to catch exactly what the pronunciation is, makes it easier for me seeing the phonetic spelling and helps me remember
Úsáidim 'cad é mar atá tú' fá choinne 'how are you' agus úsáidim 'cad chuige' fá choinne 'why'
Always learning something from your channel. Go raibh maith agat.
Tá fáilte romhat 🥰
I have homework to finish, but I will watch this after.
Please do a video on asking questions in Irish!

I work in construction is there any videos on tools and other equipment?
Go hiontach! Agus, s'ea, ba mhaith liom físeán faoi ceisteanna, le do thoil. Bheadh sé sin an-úsáideach!
Go raibh maith agat 😁
😘
Ba mhaith liom video gann Bearla a labhairt le do thoill
Go raibh maith agat agus físeán maith! D’fhoghlaim mé cuid de na focail ar bhealach eile cosúil le cén fáth agus cad chuige. Tá mé ág foghlaim fosta mar sin maith leis sin is maith eile a fheiceáil chun focail a rá.
Hi Molly - Ba mhaith liom video gann Bearla a labhairt le do thoill
With subtitles in Irish and a script in English.
Thanks !
Where can I order books in Irish. I mean, like The Stranger by Albert Camus in Irish, or Alchemist..
Can someone help me here, I can't remember if she uses the Ulster dialect as I want to focus on the Munster dialect since I live in that region and am I complete beginner. Or does it not matter in general.
Definitely Ulster influenced
Love thes video's I learn from writing, but this moves TT fast to write, I have to keep going back, takes ages, is there anyway the content can be put in the description below please?
It helps me to slow down the playback speed while I'm making notes. UA-cam lets you do that in the “hamburger” (3 stacked dots).
@@jeffcavalieri4091 thankyou
I would love to learn Irish... but try to find someone that can teach you in Germany...
Dia Duit Molly. Go raibh maith agat. Is maith liom Gaelige í mo Chroí.
Is mór an chabhair dom an físeán seo agus mé ag athbhreithniú do mo scrúdú TEG. GRMMA.
I am hearing you pronounce -adh at the end of a word as “oo” and am wondering if that is Ulster dialect? Also, one more vote for a “questions” video. GRMA! And my sympathies, one of my dogs is also a quilt-licker...
Yes it is an Ulster thing 😊 🐶 😂😂😂
Is -adh the general ending for progressive verbs? This makes verbs like "to sing" and "to clean" close enough to Welsh and Cornish to be confusing, although it probably will help nerdy me remember.
@@timflatus it’s one of them yes 👍🏻 you might have also seen ‘-amh’ eg ag déanamh
@ GRMA!
Bhain mé an-taitneamh as an bhfíseán. Grma as do chuid oibre ar fad. Gaeilge abú.
Tá fáilte romhat 💚
Tar éis or i ndiaidh in Ulster?
I think your videos are wonderful but sometimes I have a hard time seeing the words against the background
Noted for the next video 😊 thanks for your feedback!
@ wow that’s a fast feed back!😊 now if you just worked for the telephone company....
