We always thin all our fruit when the fruit are about as round as your small finger. Not at blossom stage. Also if your do it at fruiting stage, you leave the biggest fruit per bunch and also if anything is damaged u get rid of them.

Thats is great. I only have this one right now but want to try more varieties of stonefruit. Its not ideal climate for them here in zone 10b but usually get good harvest.
I did thin my peaches but they are still small, however tree is in a 20 gallon pot. Tree is about 4 years old. Had larger peaches last year. Could it possibly be root bound?
Yeah I would say it is root bound by 4 years. Peach trees roots want to spread out fast. They are maybe struggling and want some fresh soil with lots of organic matter.

That’s a good idea to wait till they form because often there are some bad ones you don’t know about until they form.

What do you feed your peaches, when, and peach diseases?
Yes all through the year I am adding different amendments, mulch, compost and organic fertilizers.
