Do the males or females get bigger? I would assume females get more girth, but I know that varies species to species. Can’t seem to find any info online..
Just got one. He’s the same size as the one in this video. He’s so cute.
Gray Banded King Snakes are wonderful man ,,,,,, most have the different saddle shapes but still the same colors ,,, great one ,,,
I absolutely love mine. Most docile out of all my snakes, even more so than bally python and will just find a place and settle. I lucked out with her
That's a Blair's phase with the broad orange bands. Alterna phase is the narrow banded example with little orange
Everyone I spoke to including the breeder called it alterna phase, but thank you for the info
@@JzsReptiles that's a lot of wrong people then. Lol

Thinking about picking one of these up 🤔
Can’t go wrong with them. I still need to find a female or “stud” him out when he gets to size next year

Great info. There a bit out outside of my price range currently. Cool shirt by the way brother.
Thanks!
That is a Blair's phase. Not a alterna phase. Nice animal.
Alterna is the scientific name numb nuts
This guy loves to say "super!"
I admit it
Is it any size difference between males and females, and what is the overall length of them?
There isn’t much dimorphism in king snakes at least compared to many boid species and they are usually around 3-3 1/2 feet or 70-90cm
Thank you //new subscriber
@@johnsson6561 No problem and thank you!
Do you have any available?
Nope. Still growing them up
57 in. is only 4 feet that’s not a monster of a snake.
A monster of a *grey band kingsnake. A close to 5 foot alterna is pretty rare as far as I know
57" is absolutely a monster of an alterna
NOT a good first snake
How come if you don’t mind me asking?
@@HM-is9iu They can be very picky feeders so get one that is feeding on frozen/thawed mice especially if you buy a neonate
