I liked these. I have yet to try the carne asada, but the plain one was good to me. I just put chicken seasoning on it. The texture is mushy and a bit off putting, but I liked the taste. I didn't notice any unpleasant smell with mine. I will definitely be repurchasing.

We just had the original steak Meati tonight for dinner...it was GREAT!! Highly recommended; like having a steak dinner, but still feeling good about yourself for eating a plant based meal!!

I wanted to try the "fried chicken" one, but now not so sure. You scared me about the smell.

The breaded one is BOMB 💣 it was the first one I tried, it has a meaty texture and taste. Even my meat eating 15 y/o grandson liked it. You should give it a try😊
