could you not use a linkage mounted drawbar for the mixer? keep it level for the weigh cells to work while mixing then lift the linkage up to empty the mix out ,obviously keeping an eye on the PTO
How different things are now for the school leavers. I was at one of the last years at my school where you could leave at 15/16 and not do CSE/GCEs. I stayed on another year and did the exams for what good it did me! Those who left without doing the exams would have an official "goodbye" from the head teacher at a special last day at school event but it was nothing grand, just an old film and that was it! The following year we did the exams and just drifted away after we`d done the last one! No ceremony, no nothing! It was quite an anti-climax!
Well done Olly for letting Oscar have the quad trac for his prom transport, if only there were more like you this world would be a better place. Great to see you and the guys doing the concrete, its good to see you making use of other machines rather paying exspensive mixer prices.
If you used your mini digger you could dig some holes for the back wheels of the mixer to drop in that would give you a nice slope for mixing the concrete just a thought mind.
Hi Olly. I'm sure you guys can make a draw bar A frame on the linkage. So you can lift the arms up to get the last bit out and it won't interfere it with the PTO. Great work.
I thought I was a stud taking my boss’s bright Yellow Hummer H2 to prom (don’t judge, they were cool in ‘03😂) but a Quadrac? That’s awfully hard to beat😊 I love the feed wagon that identifies as a cement mixer btw, it nice to see that your farm is a judgement free zone;)
It will be interesting to see if and how quickly the stone in the concrete wears through the side of the Kennan, but a great idea. I was wondering if you have enough power on the merlo that you couldn’t mix it with a merlo and then be able to tilt the whole Kennan with the merlo.
You've single handily extended the life of every Keenan feeder in the country now. Everyone will be digging them out of the hedge bottoms to re purpose them as concrete mixers. Equally, Readymix will buy them up to stop them being used as concrete mixers ! Well done !!

Make a 3pl hitch for it , can lift the front up with linkage so it runs out the back then, fendt has 2 way hydraulics so it shouldn't jump up/ tip backwards with the weight shifting

Next year Olly for charity I think you should do a charity football match. Your team can be in house workers and you play against other you tubers. 5 a side I'd say ⚽⚽⚽

Maybe you could use it as a static mixer and offload from the side feed shute into the loader bucket . Have you tried unloading the concrete from the side . It would be easier to empty as the auger would be bringing the concrete toward the shute like it brings the feed . Genius idea by the way 👏🏻👌🏻
Most annoying sound. Finger Nails down a chalk board! I can still remember a primary school teacher (A Nun) so I will not mention her name, she could bring a classroom to a standstill scratching her nails down the board. She was also an expert marksman with a chalk eraser. That's 50+ years ago and the thought of that sound still sends shivers up my spine. 😉.

First time I heard of mixing concrete with a Keenan was by Rob Gosling who had one on demonstration in 1994

You need to build a subframe with a ram so you can tip the trailer up concrete will flow out and easily wash out too

You could put the mixer on a three point hitch so you can lift once mixed, coupled with the smaller tiers jobs a gooden
