No, toxic management doesn’t deserve any praise. Middle and upper management are 100 percent responsible for RT’s downfall. But I think some mercy should be extended to the general staff and entry level workers who worked there. They didn’t make any of these decisions, they were mistreated when working on stuff like RWBY, yet they’re gonna get hurt the most by this

I would disagree that it will not reemerge, it has great potential for a mindful acquisition. K, RT as a company was a complete clusterfuk. RvB was a meh derivative content "borrowed" from Halo (now with little interest, as it's very OLD). RT churned out some successful 'lets play' content, then just anything. As much as they thought may stick, most were canceled as most was garbage. RWBY an original concept, by the intensely creative Monty Oum, put RT on the map. RWBY by season 3 rejuvenated RT & drove the majority of RT's income. They would've failed early, had they not had a series of acquisitions. Largely due to the hire/fire of Digital Artists, poor management, & the sexual scandals RT solely brought upon themselves. Not to mention pulling RWBY off uTube & driving the fanbase to their self proclaimed "First" platform, a bad move. Monty (RIP) wouldn't live to see RT destroy themselves & their employees. Unfortunately Monty's widow would, a talented Artist in her own right. Monty likely saved RT with his talent, which RT would later squander. Screw RT, I only am distraught over the way the Artists were treated & fired. I agree that the RWBY IP/IA is the only thing salvageable & valuable. If either Crunchyroll or WB-D gets their ducks in order, there is muli-millions to be made, if done properly, 10's of millions. Myself, as a M&A (mergers & acquisitions) IP & IA (intangible assets) Senior Executive Appraiser, this is obvious. Sell the RWBY property, keeping the writers, VAs & Digital media format & the key Digital Artists. These companies can make Bank on RWBY specifically WITHOUT destroying it. This will take 2 to 3 years, but has incredible potential & an existing loyal cutomer/fanbase. It's ludicrous to pass on RWBY as an acquisition, it is the ONLY asset that can reset its own franchise, without restarting from scratch. I'd pass on the all other "properties" which should just be sold off cheap, they have little potential in comparison & a high cost to revive with a miniscule vested fanbase.
From what I can tell, you still can, and I imagine their plans to release Volume 9 on the site are still happening. But there is no telling when the site will go down, so watch what you can while you have the chance

How many more companies dying off will it take for people to understand no one likes when you do go woke, someday hopefully get things back to how they used to be when the world made sense. But still it shouldn’t have died yet it needed to have RVB Restoration at least as a final farewell.
