My son will be 22 in October and oh how this video brings back memories for me! He’s a senior in college now! I miss getting his clothes and lunch and school supplies together! Best memories of of life they I’ll cherish forever!

I know! I couldn’t figure out what she was saying and then I saw them! I’ve never heard anyone call them crowns, I love it 😂💖
A tip for the “what do I keep and throw away” from kids crafts from school…. What I did was put everything in a tote for each of them (now senior and 8th grade) and when the school year ended we went through the tote and figured out what we wanted to keep and throw away. Because they are less attached to the items when time passes and can pick their favorites out of the year. Then we would put the dates and grade on the back of whatever the kept. We call them their “save boxes”

I nanny for 2 boys who often match. Mom will often buy 3 shirts when she buys matching. One that will fit each boy now and one that will fit the oldest next. It buys her a little more time of matching that same outfit while spending a little less over time. When the youngest slides into the big bro’s and the oldest slides into the next size up.
I find it satisfying seeing close ups when putting away items in kitchen cabinets and drawers. I always have to have my bed made before getting into it. Even if it's literally right at bedtime.
Organization definitely helps kids want to play, be creative. Kids are so easily overwhelmed so an organized space helps the kiddos be able to actually see what they have, and in turn makes choice making easier as well.
My son just started 4th grade. He attends a private school and they started 8/16. Staples definitely came in handy with the affordable school supplies

An excellent video. I homeschool my 2 youngest as my 17 yr old has graduated and is now working towards being a commercial pilot. Anyway, my 2 youngest are both in the 7th grade and they will begin the day after Labor Day. I have gotten the “classroom” all ready for them with all the pencils, erasers, paper, rulers, paint supplies, crayons, markers. Oh my, it just never ends:)

Mine are in 3rd and 6th grade. Goes by so fast! Usually there will be a meet the teacher before school starts, and you can take the supplies at that time. :)

We live in west Texas and started school August 2nd. My stepdaughter is in 5th grade, my oldest started 2nd grade, and my 5 year old daughter started kinder. We still have 4 year old twins who will be in kinder next year!

Yes my son “6” loves it when I organize his toys ,and color station now that he’s starting kindergarten im going to try and organize the house and toys so he can have his own little section ❤️on the art work you can also take pictures that way you have their art work forever ❤️

My oldest is in middle school this year, and my middle child is in 2nd grade! The middle school realization has hit me the hardest…she’s growing up so fast! And we have definitely hit the pre-teen attitude days. Our school does a meet the teacher day where you can bring the school supplies that will be staying at school so your kid doesn’t have to lug all of those supplies to school on their own the first day.
My daughter is 9 yrs old and in the 4th grade and I feel like time is flying by so fast... I just can not put it into words. My daughter started the 23rd of August.

My twin girls (my babies) start first year university Sept 8, 2021. I always got the girls a few new things they needed clothing wise each fall starting the new school year. They also had matching outfits till grade 3 or so before they started dressing in different outfits so they had their own identity. I miss these days of school lunches and prepping outfits. They grow so fast!

Our oldest is starting kindergarten on Wednesday 9/1, so we have all the feelings. And our 2 year old is starting a new daycare the day after Labor Day. Lots of changes coming this next week. Thanks for another amazing video Tiff!

Girl I have kids all ages...one going to 8th grade, one in 5th, and one that started Kindergarten...we started August 11, which was way earlier than previous years! Made the summer seem super short😭but I'm so glad to be somewhat on a schedule! Also...with all the supplies the teachers usually let you bring it in during open house so they don't have to carry all on the first day of school😘 Thanks for the video I always love watching!! My kiddos are going into grade 3 (age 8) and Kindergarten (age 5)! And 2 that are not yet in school (ages 3 & 1) and I homeschool! No idea when we are starting yet! In the middle of a very big renovation (which we are living in) so once things settle down I'll start 😊
Biggest lifesaver for K-2 was the twistables crayons. They don’t break and I actually have used the same set for my son since he was in kindergarten and he’s in second grade. They’re more expensive but they last and over time save money. Best product ever.

I can relate from organizing the crayons by color to not saving projects t6are clearly not my child's work. I recommend taking pictures of school projects. It's so much easier to keep without the bulk.

Our elementary school you just pay a flat fee in the school provides all the supplies. We also didn’t know who our teachers are going to be until like three days before school started

My little boy started kindergarten last Monday!
My twin boy started 5th grade August 10th!!! Lol
They’ll get out before Memorial Day but dang - we live in Las Vegas so it’s still so freaking hot too - but yeah they’ve been in school already about 3 weeks 😂😂
Also we bring our school supplies usually before the first day they have a meet and greet - walk around, see the school etc and drop their stuff… that way everyone isn’t bringing in bags and bags on top of drop off for the first day of school
