Wall tanking with cement based slurry

This is a first stage of thanking, preparing the walls applying taking slurry to walls and about 4-6"over the floor. After that all services will be installed, walls rendered and walls and ceilings plastered. Floors will be tanked just before floor tiling

thank you! any idea if it's a good idea to slurry the inside of a garden planter made out of concrete blocks to prevent render on the outside failing?

Yep, I don't think it's a bad idea. I think you'll have to make some drainage holes as well
