Its called summer time, in your childhood, in the afternoon on a hot day bored because most are on holiday, but you got this, sky tv games, a smoke and a couple of friends XD THAT is this track lol.

I can’t even tell you how much this song is amazing. The way it makes you feel. No matter what mood you’re in. I’m stating (and realizing) this is my favorite song of all times. I know it sounds crazy but I’m gonna get “if you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air” tattooed on my arm
Ask him what he was doing when he first heard the song. If he says he doesn't remember, it probably means he was getting stoned and doesn't want to tell you.
@@Appreciation-Community lmao, that's really funny, because I remember the first time I heard this song. A streamer was playing it, I had to Shazaam it to find it. This was 6 years ago. Maybe 7.
Just listening to this with my eyes closed takes me back to lads holidays back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Sitting around the pool chilling out after a mad night out on the strip the night before, chatting to girls and making plans for that night. Memories that make me so happy but also so sad because they're long gone, never to return. Please live your life to the fullest, you only get one, make it a memorable one...
Andrea Gonzalez Ayy, looking on the bright side. Good on ya. Now agsozero, I'm simply saying that you ruined the positive vibe this section had and you're only making it worse by insulting me. You're spreading negativity, even if its not about this music, but music you don't like. The nice thing about this section was that no one was argueing/insulting or otherwise talking about things negative. Also, what you were saying just now seems to have little connotation to what I said. I don't see how you reached those conclusions, and it's frankly a bit confusing.
agsozero I called on your negativity before you insulted me and I have just as much to do with this as you, since I am part of the chat under the song. Now I didn't say that your negativity was wrong, not at all. I just said that you added negativity where there was none. To elaborate; everyone under this song talked only about nice things while you had to remind us that there is bad music nowadays. Ofcourse there is, and there was in the past and there always will be bad music.. but that doesn't take away that there is nice music here and that we don't need to dwell on the bad things while we listen to good things.

I discovered this song a few days ago, I've been listening it on repeat ever since. The song is like a big comforting hug, I'm in love with it. It gives me goosebumps and joy.
Reminds me of waking up at 4 am in Lewes Delaware to take a stroll down to the bay side beach. Hearing the lapping water and the chatter of the gulls eating breakfast. Hearing the cape may ferry blow its horn. Sitting watching the sun rise over the light house digging my toes in the sand and letting time stand still.
I haven't heard this song since I was about 5 years old, bearing in mind I'm now 24. When the singing came in at 2:35 I got goosebumps.. Completely forgot about that bit of the song. Suddenly I feel like I was 5 again, listening to this on an old cassete tape while I went to sleep at night.
Same story here, my family played it to me at a similar age, I never really appreciated it but it was played everywhere in my house , I listened to it a few days ago and all the memories came flooding back.
I was going through an existential crisis about a year ago when I found this song. Then I started playing it on repeat while having a smoke for a whole month (great combo btw). Something about it, made me travel my mind, have the conversations that needed to be had with myself and others. I felt them, I heard them, I lived them, i cried. A month later I was healed. Reminds me of driving on a road by a beach on a sunny late afternoon with the windows down and you could actually smell the beach. This music, albeit a sample from a Patti Page classic is that music that takes me away to somewhere whenever I am having a bad day or if my anxiety attacks me. It is simply like escaping a city life and going to a distant beach. In short, for me, this music symbolizes “Freedom” from all my problems. Just by hearing the Trombone part, it is like going for a 6-minute vacation away from my problems. I first discovered this song on Spotify, when I was casually browsing for other songs after playing a Moby playlist while I was painting that night. This song is a whooooole vibe. Yass.
This song was on SHINee Jonghyun's playlist where I first heard of this. It has been stuck on my mind after that. I really love this ❤
First heard this in 99 on MTV2 during A to Z. They used to play every music video by every artist 24 HR a day during summer. Was an awsome year!!
Candles in bath, glass of wine, this amazing song.. deep breath in close you're eyes, and feel everything float away.. thank you for creating a slice of heaven, for me after a 72 hour working week! 👌
Dang 72 you work hard girl, You enjoy your wine! Cheers
Wonderful melancholy trombone reminiscent of the theme to "Public Eye", not that anyone else on here will remember that....
