Good to see GPU accel support improving and some x86 games running on this board. DoD should be running too then, will have to test it. Is it working on wayland?
@@TheByteman I've just compiled it on archlinuxarm aarch64, and it seems it requires 32bits env. I don't think I can have multi-arch on archlinuxarm so I'm kind of stuck for now. Steam should get rid of that 32 bits stuff at some point and split in two: 32bits (for older games), 64bits (recent games)... Would just make things so much simpler.
Does this thing support dual boot? Basically can i use Android on the EMMC and Linux on the NVMe drive and choose what to boot from at the start without unplugging something or reflashing.
@@TheByteman try to run/play pes6, pes2009, pes2010 pes2011, pes2012, pes2013, pes2014, fifa2010, fifa11(2011), fifa12, fifa13, fifa14. soccer games are more popular than HL2, then it provides more viewers than HL2. if you use "#sesegel"(a Turkish famous youtuber) hashtag on a pes2013 playing video then it can have more much viewers than your casual views
Your radxa rock 5b model have a EMMC or not? is it easy to install linux/armbian to NVME SSD(or to EMMC) while the SBC have already a EMMC with a androidOS installed ? you can make a tutorial about "how to install armbian/arch/ubuntu on a SBC which already have an OS/AndroidOS on/at EMMC. There is a lot of "how to install windowsOS on a freedos PC" but very few tutorial videos about installing arch/ubuntu/armbian to SBCs(with EMMCs with preinstalled android) and android tv boxes.

Yes, it is running on wayland..you will have to compile box86 for x86 games to work.

So after installing Box 86 , csn i just run sudo apt get install steam-installer and use Steam like normal?

Yes, I have android on eMMC and a Linux rootfs on nvme, to switch between them I just insert or remove an SD card with the armbian /boot partition.

I have android installed on emmc.. armbian os boot files on sdcard , system and data files on nvme.
