@Karm G "Even the Ancient humans we see look on average way hotter then modern humans" That makes sense since these "ancient" humans were hundreds/thousands of years advanced than we are today. They would have had access to incredibly cutting edge healthcare, medical technologies, superior diets, egalitarian philosophy and more robust adaptations then we have. Though it is subjective its like comparing us homo sapien sapien being more attractive then our ancient ancestors (homo erectus, habilis, neanderthalis, astrolopithicus etc ) - with better health, medical treatment, better diet (mostly), live longer, more intelligent etc... probably humans in 300 years will live far longer than the upper 120 year life records we have experienced so far and consider us "primitive looking".
You said a same thing as same purpose, While You still wasting lifespan during Halo timeline. humanity lifespan will be recycling in Halo Timeline.. Precursors said Halo timeline had no end no beginning no purpose. Meanwhile, Two Timeless Rival, are gods the Holy Spirit's versus Ol' Precursors timeless in Halo Timeline..
@Karm G It's important to mention that humanity was forcefully devolved at the end of the Human-Forerunner war and several species of human present on Charum Hakkor are no longer around. Riser's race, the Florians, died out about 50,000 years ago in our own universe
Imagine if the ancient human ship ONI found had intact historical records of that alliance, that would definitely have an impact on modern day humanity if that information circulated
They did. In a book they found a malfunctioning monitor that told the story of humans and forerunners, while simultaneously taking over the ship to look for the librarian.
Who knows what lifestyles, attitudes, philosophies and sociology beholds the far future. What may seem "gross" and unthinkable to us humans in the 20th century, may simply be acceptable and joyas to humans in the 24th Century. I like to think myself as open minded and progressive, but I would ultimately still be the product and relic of my time today.
@@AdmiralBison I can accept, and possibly even get behind, a little xenophilia. However, despite how open-minded I may be... In this instance, I just can't divorce myself from the current, old and decrepit visage of the San'Shyuum. Maybe in another time, wherein I can see just how similar to humans their youth look and they didn't look like they were an hour away from keeling over.
Though prehistoric humans and San'Shyuums were allies, during Human-Forerunner War, relationship was deteriorating to the point San'Shyuums even secretly made pact with Forerunners.
Most, if not all, of the Stoics allegedly perished when their star collapsed in on itself in 648 BCE. However, the only source for news about Janjur Qom's destruction was the San'Shyuum of the Covenant. Although most individuals did not believe that the world was truly destroyed, little was done to dispute it, as only the most powerful San'Shyuum knew where Janjur Qom was located. So yes... Some may still be out there. But as of yet, unless we hear/read otherwise in a book or game, we can only guess to their survival
One of the books I read though I cant remember which one does..... It was Broken circles I believe that confirms they are still alive just being kept as the prophets back pocket secret. They send an expedition there to acquire female sanshyum to deepen their genetic pool. They were very advanced in the Biological field of science relying on that instead of your more modern technology. They did have some ground to space missiles though.
It's likely that Janjur Qom is indeed gone - and here is my reasoning. Contemporary San'Shyuum by the 2500's were facing a crisis of genetic degredation due to a population size too small, and too inbred to sustain itself for much longer. (I'll circle back to this.) This is supported in the books by the 'rolls of celebacy', a list of San'Shyuum that while permitted to have as much hedonistic sex they wanted, were forbidden to sire a child - due to the genetic ramifications - Even the High Prophets were bound to this law. Now, we also know that the San'Shyuum were a species with a particularly "flexible morality'. It would not be unreasonable to think, that given their dire genetic situation, that they would not raid their home planet simply for mating consorts for the sake of genetic diversity. Why would they allow themselves to degrade as such? This might be a good theory for their TRUE motivations for initiating the great journey. They knew they were the last of their species, and we know that they are an incredibly selfish race. Rather than let themselves just "fade away", they saw their end coming and like a drowning man, thrashing and grasping for anything to "save" themselves - and the legends of the "Gods" ascending ia the 'Great Journey' seamed like the perfect answer to their situation. Taking everyone else with them was just incidental - They were *that* selfish.
If Stoics and Janjur Qom is still alive, ther is still hope for San'Shyuums. Of course, Stoics won't oppose humans and Covenant remnants as they were not part of the Covenants. I'd say Stoics looks pretty similar to Prehistoric San'Shyuums as they lived in higher gravity of their planet. Ancient San'Shyuums were technologically powerful as Forerunners and Humans. I heard in terms of brewing skills, they surpass that of Forerunners. Back then, San'Shyuums were attractive being by Forerunners and humans' standard more concernedwith physical beauty, sexuality, and youth. In games, we only saw older prophets but younger San'Shyuums had shorter neck and more defined figures and face, making them very identical to Humans and Forerunners, enough for three species to find one another attractive. One of prelates, Tem'Bhetek has straight figure and shorter and stable neck compared to hierarchs. Also his facial feature is more defined.
I always loved the story of Ancient Humanity. Though I can understand if there was an ancient grudge against the Humans. To be honest, a new alliance with the San`Shyuum isn't impossible, I just don't see it happening right away. But with the Created situation, if the Flood return, or even worse, the Precursors return, then there is no choice. Facing a common enemy, do you really have a choice?
Who’s to say the Precursors returning is a bad thing? After all only a couple of them were ever known to be corrupted and them returning for revenge doesn’t fit what 00 said in a video about possibility of them returning since they accept the cycle of life and death, so there’s a good possibility that the Precursors returning might be a good thing.
again since ancient humanity had some time manipluation abilty its entirly possible theres some vault out there in the milkyway with a entire base of ancient san shyum and humans left in stasis chambers like the proteans from mass effect tried to do and since they were frozen in time they wouldnt have been wiped out by the halo array
perhaps like the liberian and didact's love, humanity's friendship with the prophets transcends time and space that i will inevitably end where it started.
Riossios Eternal San’Shyuum: nnnnnnnooooooo you apes are just heretics! You can’t just reclaim responsibility of the galaxy! Humans: lol Forerunner tech go brrrr!
imagine how ironic/badass would be for a UNSC Expedition to re-discover the Prophet's homeworld using reverse engineered Forerunner tech and due to their ability to activate holy artifacts be treated as gods by the locals.
Ancient San Shyuum were considered to be very beautiful by both Ancient Human and Forerunner standards, and the Ancient San Shyuum were tall, athletic active beings that were a far cry from the decrepit parapalegic ballchins we often see with the Covenant. They were brilliant with science and tech, and greatly valued art and beauty. They were essentially less-arrogant equivalents to elves.
basically the ancient san shayum where like tall quarians from mass effect all muscle hour glass curves gracefull movement and a near pefectly human face so yeah pretty attrative by human and even forerunner standards the new san shuym look like someone streched out a gray alien and aged it by a thousand years then dropped them on a barber shop floor
I can only imagine if humanity discovered the Ark Portal before the Covenant attacked, it wouldn't of even been a conflict. We would've exterminated the Covenant as easily as they subjugated the Unggoy.

I could just imagine for a brief moment, that what if these 3 great races had been able to come together against this common enemy and become truly great... I hope one day we get the gift of a playable series involving the Forerunners, Ancient humanity, and the Ancient San Shyuum in both alliance and in conflict. It's such rich and untouched lore that has yet to be explored. I could see a beautiful merriment between current halo, mixed RPG elements, and Mass Effect. This line of story mixed with today's engine upgrades could be a very plausible route for 343 to handle if they continue to hold the halo title and if Microsoft allows it
1:18 The Librarian, as it is known, left a program in the human genome that will ultimately cause the development of the MJOLNIR suits as, I think, a return to the former glory of humanity. Judging by the weapon held by the guy on left, the BR holds the same place in the genetic memory of humans as the MJOLNIR suit.
apparently the prohophets said there homeworlds star went supernova and killed them all but they never provided any proof other then there word so its likeley none of the covenant or at least the young san shayum no there planet still exists
The secret that their home world was still inhabited probably died with the highest ranking prophets. If you read Broken circles though I believe that is the book that they reveal the stoics are still alive and terrifying just chilling on their home planet with genetically created moss tigers of death.
The Ancient Human San'Shyuum Alliance heavily revered the Precursors, using there technology and worlds to grow their Empire. However I do wonder if they ever knew of the Forerunner crimes against Percursors before encounter the Flood. This being one of many factors why their was a tense relationship between both galactica powers.
Considering their mastery and centuries-long research upon Precursor tech and history, It's highly likely that they knew about the sins of the Forerunners back in the days. It's is one of the contributing factors of their refusal to surrender or just explain their actions to gain small understanding with the Forerunners.

@@Dianasaurthemelonlord7777 To be fair, comparing the modern, Covenant San Shyuum to the ancient San Shyuum is like comparing decrepit ugly bastards to olympic athletes and fashion icons.
Source for the artist who did the left side of the thumbnail: www.deviantart.com/markushmasterwarrior/art/Forthencho-The-Lord-of-Admirals-825345873 1:50 To be fair, the Ancient humans developed as a culture under the constant pressure of being in the shadow of an exponentially-stronger and larger alien empire who hated them for millions of years for ideological reasons. It is mentioned in the books that the AHE advanced and expanded at a far-greater rate compared to the Forerunners, with the hominid religion teaching to "create many souls", AKA breed like rabbits and take everything and anything possible from everywhere. After their alliance with the tech-savvy San Shyuum, they advanced without studying Forerunner tech to an extent that they rivaled the Forerunners in many fields. Then the wars came, and across the 1000+ years of conflict, despite the AHE's territory and military being reduced to a sliver of their pre-war numbers, their technology had skyrocketed to the extent that they managed to reverse-engineer some Precursor knowledge into their weapons to make them be able to utterly-ignore Forerunner defenses, meaning that they could hold their own for far longer than otherwise against he exponentially-larger numbers of Forerunner troops and forces.
Personally I don’t think the Covenant San Shyuum are all gone. Shadow of Intent explains that many of them fled High Charity and took a great number of Huragok with them.
I would love to fight the healthier, athletic San'Shyuum in one of the Halo games. I can imagine fighting these acrobatic, lean aliens as they dart from cover to cover. Easy to kill, hard to hit.
Hearing about Ancient Humans is always good, can't wait till they meet the reemerged humanity! Especially since we faired better against the flood then they did! Just like ancient humans our drive is nearly endless!
to be fair they had a cure that would of given them time to wipe out the flood but the forerunners ingored all attempts to explain why humanity was despratly conquering things for resoruces to stop the flood
Guywith Aplan Then why did ancient humanity quite literally wipe all of its research on the cure when they were about to lose the war.... maybe it wasn’t a full blown cure but it sounds like it made progress atleast and so them wiping the cure as a final spite against the forerunners makes sense
@@targitausrithux2320 the flood pretended to ignore certain individuals, which led to ancient humanity researching them and developing a "cure", despite the fact that this cure would not work because the studied humans did not have any sort of immunity.
Targitaus Rithux it was all part of the floods plan. It’s good to read the novels of the forerunner era. Basically in a nutshell when the pre cursors decided that humanity would obtain the mantel and not the forerunners the forerunners rebelled and nearly wiped all of them out. The ones that survived degraded themselves into a fine powder and waited to reanimate. After many years the powder was corrupted and the flood was born off the back of this. The flood are essentially a mutate version of a pre cursors and the primordial is a mixture of a pre cursor and a grave mind. Now when the flood was attacking humanity they knew the forerunners were also attacking them their goal was to enact revenge on what they did. They choose humanity as the chosen ones. They knew they had to act so they knowingly decided to full back and recede. This gave the humans the impression they found a cure. Then when the humans turned their attention to the forunners they managed to hold them off for only so long as the war with the flood decimated their empire and forces. The humans knowing they were going to lose deleted all data of the flood and a potential cure. The forunners found about the flood towards the end of the war and asked how did humans push back the flood and then 10,000 years later the flood returned and started the flood vs forerunner war for which they lost and activated the halo rings. With this this ensured not all humans would be killed this stopping their extermination . The librarian then saves populations of humans on the arks and halo rings thus keeping humanity safe to the present day. This was all part of the plan from the flood by ensuring humanity thought they found a cure it stopped the forerunners from killing them off. That slim chance they could find the cure. Now the flood knows there is no cure they can play the waiting game. Return later wipe out the forunners and get revenge. . They set a chain of actions in motion to ensure that when they return that they will test humanity as humanity would prosper.
I sincerely doubt that current Humanity would ever side with the Prophets after the Covenant War. People have long memories after all and I doubt that people would be willing to trust a faction of Prophets even if they are from a different faction. Hell look at the alliance with the Elites, it's still pretty shaky and that's after fighting side by side at the end of the war.
@@htoodoh5770 You do realise that I mentioned the other faction right? I'm pretty sure Vader here means the same thing. We just couldn't be bothered calling them their other name.

After they activated them, the galaxy would be reseeded by a selected group of each species that were conveniently held on ark-like megastructures. I could have sworn that the San'Shyuum home world, Janjur Qom, had been destroyed by 2552. If the information I am reading is right, it was destroyed around 4600 years before the events of CE. So, No, I don't think Stoic faction San'Shyuum will appear. I could have also sworn that there was raids to gather fertile females covered in 'Broken Circle', so it is unknown if the Stoics could have left the home world after that time.
That was in 648 BCE, not 4600 years before CE. Also, the Prophets claimed their homeworld was destroyed when its star went supernova. Of course, Prophets lie about a lot of things, so this may or may not have been true.
Well, the Stoics entire belief was that anything Forerunner was sacrosanct and to try and do anything with it was heresy. This mean that they could not study or reverse-engineer Forerunner technology, but it doesn't mean that they could not develop their technology normally, without Forerunner influence. I mean, Reclaimer humans did pretty well on the tech front for a species who never had any Forerunner goodies to analyze for the first few thousand years of technology. They definitely could have gone interstellar by the time the star (supposedly) blew up, just at a slower rate than their covenant cousins.
Hi can you please make a video on humanity's efforts to reverse engineer technology? There's very little mention of it except reverse engineering jackal shields to make Mjolnir armour energy shielding, covenant and Forerunner tech in the unsc Infinity and reverse engineering Prefect and hellcat armour. Is there any more information on human reverse engineering other than that? I want to see if humans can make covenant and Forerunner weapons now
I wonder if that unknown craft and species that crash landed on Installation-04 were surviving Ancient Humans? Perhaps they were outside the galaxy or at some other safe haven during the Human-Forerunner War and the later activation of the Halo Array...? 🤔

Especially when you said we reach into the heavens and touch the stars without reverse engineering of any ancient technology My heart goes to you sir
Agreed the three would have been effective against the flood as the tech pooled from the three factions would have also allowed worlds to be saved. Also if the UNSC would find prehistoric advanced human tech or advanced prehistoric humans in cryptums that awaken to see their modern descendents
I would agree, if there wasn't only like, 2 lines of detail in the entire franchise on it. The only things wer know about ancient Human weaponry is this: 1: The AHE developed weapons technology sometime in the war with the Forerunners that was able to flat out ignore Forerunner defenses like they didn't even exist, allowing them to hold off exponentially-larger Forerunner forces for a lot longer. The Didact says so, the quote being "Humanity, with the assistance of the San Shyuum, were able to develop such offensive technologies that my warrior-servants had no defense against" or something. The other concrete fact is from Warfleet page 14, which mentions that the AHE ship found by ONI in the Yankee site had weapons identified as "fibril cutters" on Forerunner records. Given the definition of fibrillation being an erratic pulse of something, this might have been a type of disruptor weapon or one that uses energy fields to shred apart matter or reorient it. Visually, from the terminals, we knew that the AHE had weapons on (some of) their ships capable of one-shotting Forerunner vessels of equivalent tonnage. They also had various types of energy weapons, with the rifles used by their standard troops firing blue-hued bolts of particles at a ludicrous rate, which seems visually almost exactly like the Cursed mod needle rifle's rate of fire. I mean, look at the amount of spray on these things: ua-cam.com/video/bznq4Zr2gTw/v-deo.html (the footage of them shooting the AHE troops is in SLOW MOTION, BTW). I guess theis is due to it being designed against the Flood. Such an egregiously-fast fire rate with no overheating or ammo issues whatsoever (which makes me think that the guns had internal power reactors or something)would be very useful against swarms of lightly-armored entities coming from all sides. Against Forerunners the high firerate would be used to simply drill and chip away at the superior Forerunner shields and armor (or to get in more hits, the Prometheans have the ability to seemingly never get hit by the human fire in the video). They also had the technology to easily and quickly glass entire worlds, I mean, they have to in order to try and stop the spread of the Flood. Also, they had what looked liek ballistic (perhaps hardlight ballistic?) weapons, as seen in the underslung gun held by the trooper on the right on 6:33.
i have a theory, the test mentioned by the precursor/gravemind for the forerunners was how they handle the mantle of responsibility in a case like the flood and they failed due to they instead of attending to the ancient humans in a responsible way they acted as authoritarian way waged war and wiped them thats why they lost and this same is gonna happen with humans in a different scenario ( precursor chose ancient human in the first place for they made friendship than war like with san shaayum)
The Stoics on Janjur Qom have gotta make an appearance in a visual medium at some point. Physically capable and possibly even good-looking (by human standards) San'Shyuum would be cool to see. Before the end of the series, the old alliance with humanity being reformed. After all, the series could only properly end with a total alliance of all the known races against a truly powerful and resurgent flood, right?
Ancient humanity had over 20 separate hominid strains in their civilization, from Homo Sapiens to Neanderthals and even some ape-like species. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they let Jiralhanae be citizens, so compared to modern humans, definitely more culturally-advanced. They would probably laugh their asses off at how utterly backwards and primitive a civilization would need to be to commit large-scale prejudice and violence based off of something as trivial as, say, skin color.
@@fadelsukoco3092 well nothing in the halo universe does that apart from rhe covenanr enslaving other species based on, well, their species, but modern humans didnt even do that, the forerunners were pretty prejudiced and they were the most technologically advanced race in the galaxy apart from the precursors
I am a huge fan or your videos. Halo has been a big part of my life and continues to be. Your videos just add more to the thing I love. So thank you so much for what you do. Something I think would be really interesting to see would be a Lore and Theory video on modern day Humanity and the interspecies relations they have with the ex-Covenant species like the Sangheili or Jiralhanae and where those relations might lead in the future of Halo. Saw some Halo fan art by Just-Rube a while back depicting relations of Humans and Sangheili or Humans and Jiralhanae. I know it's just fan art but it got me thinking what could become in the lore if Humans were to move beyond the past transgressions of the Human-Covenant war. Would we be trading partners or allies? Would we have combined arms units with a mix of Humans, Sangheili, and Jiralhanae? Would or could there even be instances of romantic relations or interspecies family units? Could be be really fun to see.
There are canon examples of worlds shared by colonies of humans and Covenant species. Venezia is one. Groups of Kig-yar are also known to trade and smuggle whenever they can, including to humans.
I actually love the halo lore I even base a lot of things on the halo tech cycle, who knows ancient civilisations already suppressed us in some technological aspects and that's only of those we have discovered Imagine what's buried under the mountains seas deserts ice plains. Chakkas.
Something I don't get, if the prophets knew the truth about their religion, that it was a lie, why would they still try and activate the halo array? They must've known that it would have killed them and everyone else
It'd be interesting to get a game where some humans and elites meet this absurdly attractive alien they've never seen before and eventually ask what his species is called. When they hear San'Shyuum, they'd be shocked since he looks nothing like the Prophets they know and when he's shown a picture, he'd conclude that was their punishment for heresy, ironically enough.
Most-likely they would be significantly-more augmented biologically and cybernetically. I mean, these guys could live millennia and their troops had to fight toe to toe in CQC with Forerunner warrior-servants (due to the latter liking to board their ships a lot). Forthencho himself was only a bit shorter than the Didact, considering how he talked to him on that hoverbed and stared him down on the warship bridge.
Ancient humans were far more godlier than the Spartan 2's, More bigger, more stronger, more faster, possibly Even used psychics in battle like telekinesis and telepathy, and might be even more, only 20,000 humans were able to hold the biggest army in the galaxy or possibly the universe for constant 53 Years, I can assume they were on primarch level each to do something like that
Spartan 304 It wasn’t 20k soldiers, it was 20k planets. So they weren’t as Uber as you claim, though here’s what IS extremely impressive about the Ancient Human Empire (AHE): By the time that they were fighting the Forerunners, they had already been devastated by the Flood across their empire. The number of worlds that the AHE held (20k) comes from a quote that Forthencho said to Chakas in Primordium, but this was not stated as to whether or not it was referring to the state of the AHE before or after a third of the population and territories volunteered as sacrifices to stand against the Flood to buy time for the other 2/3 to escape from the spread. What’s more, is that this number was only after they lost enough personnel and territory to the Flood to consider it necessary to invade Forerunner space, something which the AHE, knowing that the Forerunners were exponentially superior to them militarily and industrially, would only do as a last resort. At this point, the AHE was crippled by the Flood, and they still had the balls to invoke the wrath of the Ecumene in order to regent the further spread of the Flood. But what’s even MORE impressive is how the AHE managed to hold off against the Forerunners for so long. The Forerunners (specifically the Ur-Didact) did something called “Star Hopping” which meant that they would cut off commas and jam human Slipspace travel to a glacial crawl, as well as being able to predict exactly where the AHE would jump out their fleets. With the flow and pace of the war dictated by the Forerunners, the Didactic could only attack the most-important AHE worlds and bases to cut the fastest way possible to Charum Hakkor to decapitate the AHE while losing minimal troops and resources doing so. Yet the AHE held out against the Forerunners for over 1000 years. The AHE, who at this point were crippled militarily, had inferior technology, exponentially smaller numbers of troops and ships, their surviving reinforcements cut off and separated from forming any cohesive united front, with an enemy who could predict their maneuvers and render their FTL useless, held out for OVER A THOUSAND YEARS. And that was only a small fraction of their remaining power, since the Didact only attacked the worlds when absolutely necessary in order to head to Charum Hakkor fastest. Then, at Charum Hakkor, the AHE forces there held out for 53 years, constantly, with no support or reprieve whatsoever, against the absolute best the Forerunners could send at them. And they would of held on indefinitely if the San Shyuum had not sold them out by telling the Didact the way to infiltrate Charum Hakkor’s invincible Precursor structure. Later in, the Librarian would speculate that the war against the AHE had cost the Forerunners so much that it was a major contribution to them being unable to defeat the Flood 10000 years later. A tiny fraction of the shattered remains of a crippled Humanity exhausted by the Flood and vastly inferior to the Ecumene in almost every field had weakened them to the degree that they were unable to defeat the Flood 10000 years later (it was also the War with the AHE that caused the Builders to amass so much political power in the Ecumene and become arrogant and corrupt, which was also a major reason why the Forerunners lost so bad against the Flood).
all this advanced fancy pancy technology yet no one was able to clearly communicate thst the bloody FLOOD had arrived and humans tried to contain them, like just put on a communication channel
Thats what i never understood. Humans glassed forerunner planets that were flood infested. How didn't the forerunners know about the flood. How about humans stopping and telling them "hey listen we all have a problem here with this new threat to the galaxy". But nope, lets just fight a two front war, get devolved to caveman status, and never say anything.
One thing that boggles my mind is how the covies found earth AND why they brought a small fleet AND if the UNSC ever found out as well. Prospect for a future video.
It was explained in Halo 2, specifically during the second half of Delta Halo (I think the mission was called Regret). I'm gonna try and explain it as simply as I can. The fleet of Regret (The one seen at the beginning of the game and during the beginning of Delta Halo before High Charity arrived) found a relic on a planet and "jumped the gun" once they confirmed the coordinates. When they arrived they were surprised to find out it was humanities homeworld. It's also stated Regret asked for forgiveness presumably from Truth and Mercy. But we all know Truth wanted Regret and Mercy to die. So he essentially let the demon (Master Chief) kill Regret and then glassed the area in attempt of killing two birds with one stone. But obviously Master Chief survived.
I'd initially wondered if the Forerunners had implanted some enmity between the two races during their time on the Lesser Ark, but as the video progressed, I realized there were plenty of other, more believable reasons why the descendants of two historically important allies would conveniently end up killing each other and forming deep rifts that could never be healed except by the genocide of the other.
The prophets are the one bastard friend who is extremely charismatic but will always throw you under the bus to get ahead. Then he’ll try to butter you up to make up for it again.
Do you think the empire the Ancient Humans and Ancient San Shyuum had can be brought back but instead it will be made up of Humans and Sangheilis due to the close relationship they have compared to other races. Or due to the Covenant War humanity will be less inclined to accept aliens within there ranks and always keep an arms length. Of course things could change with the current war against the Created seeing as how its only humanity and the Swords of Sanghelios vs everyone else. Of course this could all be for not if ONI decides to step in like they usually do.

@Karm G "Even the Ancient humans we see look on average way hotter then modern humans"
That makes sense since these "ancient" humans were hundreds/thousands of years advanced than we are today.

Ancient Humans and San'Shyuum: Best bros
Modern Humans and San'Shyuum: lol. guns go boom boom
True. But how do we know the corrupted ones didn't kill the ones who weren't?
again since ancient humanity had some time manipluation abilty its entirly possible theres some vault out there in the milkyway with a entire base of ancient san shyum and humans left in stasis chambers like the proteans from mass effect tried to do and since they were frozen in time they wouldnt have been wiped out by the halo array

1:50 To be fair, the Ancient humans developed as a culture under the constant pressure of being in the shadow of an exponentially-stronger and larger alien empire who hated them for millions of years for ideological reasons.

I want to see if humans can make covenant and Forerunner weapons now
Just imagine Chakas going ham on Regret whilst Red Team and Ripa look on in disgust
Good video man, the content is great and I hope your success continues.
It's really sad to see how these close allies ended up slaughtering each other
thanks for a great video, halo is my childhood and it always brings back memories.
Ive been waiting for this. 😁
I wonder if that unknown craft and species that crash landed on Installation-04 were surviving Ancient Humans? Perhaps they were outside the galaxy or at some other safe haven during the Human-Forerunner War and the later activation of the Halo Array...? 🤔
It's hard to believe that the San Shiuum were once beautiful lol.
I wish we got a halo game that focused on the events of the ancient time period with ancient humans, forerunners, prophets and precursors/flood
My dude, starting at 13:50, I stood up from my coach and stood in a military Salut post, while a tear drop from my eyes I stood in respect of your speech. You motivated the shit outta me my guy. Especially when you said we reach into the heavens and touch the stars without reverse engineering of any ancient technology
My heart goes to you sir
I love how deep and vast the Halo lore is
14:21-14:35 gave me the chills
Where is that quote from? At 14:00
Agreed the three would have been effective against the flood as the tech pooled from the three factions would have also allowed worlds to be saved. Also if the UNSC would find prehistoric advanced human tech or advanced prehistoric humans in cryptums that awaken to see their modern descendents
can you do one on ancient human weaponry?
@@fadelsukoco3092 the Inquisitiors were asking about you that you left the imperium of man
i have a theory, the test mentioned by the precursor/gravemind for the forerunners was how they handle the mantle of responsibility in a case like the flood and they failed due to they instead of attending to the ancient humans in a responsible way they acted as authoritarian way waged war and wiped them thats why they lost and this same is gonna happen with humans in a different scenario ( precursor chose ancient human in the first place for they made friendship than war like with san shaayum)
Ancient humanity was so advanced beacuse they didnt see color, languaje and religion diferences
They were too advanced to believe in basic religions
Ancient humanity had over 20 separate hominid strains in their civilization, from Homo Sapiens to Neanderthals and even some ape-like species. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they let Jiralhanae be citizens, so compared to modern humans, definitely more culturally-advanced. They would probably laugh their asses off at how utterly backwards and primitive a civilization would need to be to commit large-scale prejudice and violence based off of something as trivial as, say, skin color.
@@fadelsukoco3092 well nothing in the halo universe does that apart from rhe covenanr enslaving other species based on, well, their species, but modern humans didnt even do that, the forerunners were pretty prejudiced and they were the most technologically advanced race in the galaxy apart from the precursors
uh they still did other wise they wouldnt have seprated humanity into a ton of diffrent sub species it seems like they had a tau esk caste system
Wrong...there WERE no color, language, and religion differences. There were species differences, which is MUCH larger.
their story is like when former best friends became mortal enemies
Love your videos, keep it up!
@@fadelsukoco3092 Where are these examples? I would love to read up on them.
I actually love the halo lore
I even base a lot of things on the halo tech cycle, who knows ancient civilisations already suppressed us in some technological aspects and that's only of those we have discovered
Imagine what's buried under the mountains seas deserts ice plains.
Chakkas.
I'd like to see Modern Humanity encounter the classic original san shyuum and reform their alliance to tackle the Flood!
Something I don't get, if the prophets knew the truth about their religion, that it was a lie, why would they still try and activate the halo array? They must've known that it would have killed them and everyone else
Hello my fellow freaky darlings.
I'd like to see a live-action tv series about ancient humans in the Halo universe.
I love your videos on this type of information
It'd be interesting to get a game where some humans and elites meet this absurdly attractive alien they've never seen before and eventually ask what his species is called. When they hear San'Shyuum, they'd be shocked since he looks nothing like the Prophets they know and when he's shown a picture, he'd conclude that was their punishment for heresy, ironically enough.
Were Ancient Humans all like MasterChief? Superhumans it seems like the next technological jump from even the current Halo Timeline
Ancient humans were far more godlier than the Spartan 2's, More bigger, more stronger, more faster, possibly Even used psychics in battle like telekinesis and telepathy, and might be even more, only 20,000 humans were able to hold the biggest army in the galaxy or possibly the universe for constant 53
Years, I can assume they were on primarch level each to do something like that
Spartan 304 It wasn’t 20k soldiers, it was 20k planets.
@@Viviana088 did the UNSC found out about this or did they more important matters at the time?
Coment Nine yes they did in Halo 2 I forgot the mission Cortana explains it to Chief and Johnson
@@BlackKing.2000 I meant the High command!
The Halo Alliance: founded by Humanity, the Stoic San'Shyuum, the Sangheili, the Kig-Yar, the Unggoy, the Huraggok and Sentient AIs.
That'd be wicked.
I wish ancient human tech was used now like the hellcat armor. But in a mainline game, like the unsc get a major buff with ancient human tech.
By this point, its best to make a spin-off game based on the ancient humanity
Do you think the empire the Ancient Humans and Ancient San Shyuum had can be brought back but instead it will be made up of Humans and Sangheilis due to the close relationship they have compared to other races. Or due to the Covenant War humanity will be less inclined to accept aliens within there ranks and always keep an arms length. Of course things could change with the current war against the Created seeing as how its only humanity and the Swords of Sanghelios vs everyone else.
Of course this could all be for not if ONI decides to step in like they usually do.
Ain't watched yet but thanks for making the only content I wanna listen to for it is good brain food!
