I got started with you the end of last summer and I can say as a 64yr old man who has been a bodybuilder, genetically stiff and waved off stretching and found himself in a pucker of the tightest fascia, hamstrings, hips with horrible knee pain - you are absolutely correct what you teach is a life changer. I am still stiff but I have come so far through the fall and winter and make stretching 1/3 of my training 6 days a week. I have dealt with excruciating pain and it is still painful but much better and my general mobility has climbed.
This is one of the best fitness videos I have ever found. Each exercise is explained adequately without excessive conversation. There is no annoying music. Your voice is pleasant and clear. The video is just the right length, and I LOVE that you don't try to be cute or funny, you just get right to the point and give us exactly the information we need. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I am definitely saving this one to my fitness video library.
Started doing squats about 8 months ago. Every morning in the shower. The transformation is incredible. I started out and could just get down about 8 inches, and struggled to get back up again. Now I can get all the way down and back up again with little effort. The amazing thing is I started because of back pain which is now all but gone, but the overall flexibility in my legs, but and lower back is incredible. I will be 60 in a couple of months and have been using knee surgery when I was 15 as an excuse for poor mobility. Wish I star5ed much earlier. Keep at it everyone
For me it's the Cossack. But I've always had bad hams and inner thighs even many moons ago when I did tae kwon do. The squat is actually very easy in comparison. But that may just be my particular genetics and path through life. I've been a somewhat serious cyclist for decades.
I’ve just tried these exercises and they are great. I’m nearly 61, relatively fit but have poor mobility and I can see this routine is going to really help me. Thank you.
They are great for you! She explains them so well too. As a complementary video, I recommend also watching Andrew Huberman with Peter Attia to see why these are so important. Trying to get my entire family to do them.
I love how you advise easing into a movement to prevent injuries and promote consistency by advocating for "micro-dozes". Injury prevention and consistency is the name of the game.
Another quality tutorial. All movements explained in a natural no nonsense manner, you are a natural instructor/ teacher, easily one of my favourites. Thank you🤡
I'm a man, 77 years old and I can do 21 deep squats. I love your videos, but trust me. For the people I know, it's not their age, or that they can't build up their ability . . . it's their will to to do them. A lot of people are deteriorating couch potatoes. These squats are life transforming but a lot of people are attached to their dis ease.
@@ppmppm7010 I'm 69 with psoriatic arthritic knees.... do both, one is not better than the other. Holding the squat is good...stretches out things. Doing high reps is good....builds endurance and strength. Do a few reps, then hold, rinse & repeat according to how good it feels. If you can find something heavy to hold out close to your body, like a kettelbell, even better.
Really happy to have discovered you. Just been through chemo ( breast cancer) ect, lost a lot of mobility. Feel motivated after watching, you have a great motivational smile.
Thank you this is so helpful. I started doing the Asian Deep Squat over a year ago ( I am 63 male), I could barely do 30 seconds, it was torture. I am up to 5 mins plus now, and in that time most of my lower back pain has gone. Amazing . PS and I dont get tired legs after big walks ;)
I love your videos. I've been improving my mobility with them for a while now. Up until now, I've come across videos that quickly discouraged me because I didn't see progression. Or they looked like 'do this routine every morning to be mobile', but I wasn't mobile enough to even do them. Thank you, you're doing a great job!
Love these videos! I am learning so much and becoming more flexible too! I'm coming out of being as stiff as a board and at my age (nearly 67) that is nothing short of a miracle!
OMG thank you Liv 💕 I've been struggling a lot with deep squat/malasana pose because I either have heels really high above the ground or I fall on my back. I think this tip with wall will be a game changer for me 💮
This is perfect. Just hitting 50 and running regularly but definitely need to improve my mobility. Thanks so much, love the videos - great pace and fun, but without any bull. Keep up the great work. 👍
OMG, THANK YOU! Squats are easy for me but I never understood why I couldn't get the cossack squat down properly. You're breakdown made it super simple to achieve proper form, you provided and alternative and showcased the differences in what they favor in the exercise. Fantastic! Cossack squats are my weakness, but at least I know I am doing them properly now. I love finding things to work on. Challenge accepted!
I absolutely love your channel. I love how you break things down, and make them easy to understand. You are warm, relatable, and welcoming! Thank you for this wonderful channel😊
Quite encouraging to see u promote a few things that I already do. Im 68 and flabby with zero discipline so I have to build this stuff into everyday life. I squat whilst cleaning teeth. I have always sat on floor to put socks on. I stretch legs whilst waiting for the coffee machine. Oh yes and I have one of those cheap pull up bars that (sometimes) I hang from :) now Ill try and add a few more of your stretches. many thanks.
This is the perfect mobility video that I was looking. I am a basketball player when I was young but later now I am 65 yrs old my monility suffers. At my first look on this video I immediately understand that this exercise is what I NEEDED. Thank you . God Bless You. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the video!! Low key think you shouldn’t use other influencers when speaking of “showing off” even if you didn’t intend to insult. Your videos have helped me a lot, thanks.
Bleddy genius!! Menapause has made me stiff and immobile my knees are weak and hip flexors are rigid , lower back aches after bending. This video is simple genius and targets major problem.
I challenged myself the last 6 months to do the deep squat at least 5 times a day and now that I got it, it feels good and really up'd my achievement level. Getting that frog sit is my demon because I have extremely tight hamstrings from years of running but I plan to get there, and never give up.
Awesome. I've been at a place where I have started to loose the ability to do these natural movements. You've reminded me that it's time to start to do these stretches again. Thank you.
I'm really enjoying your videos. You explain things clearly and calmly and without ego - not often seen on social media. Very educational and helpful content. Thank you !
i like so much your chanel and how you explain i can do all and i have big injuries to ankle and knee but if you work slowly you can do it thank you so much for share your knowledge and sorry for my poor english

This has to be one of the best UA-cam videos on mobility, stretching, and workouts. As someone who had an ACL reconstruction over 10 years ago from an injury during my military career and now a serious ankle injury from a very recent climbing accident, I picked up your advice about people with injuries or disabilities. I do work closely with my surgeon and my physio still as I'm trying to get back to climbing and strength with flexibility is important. So far, I'm almost back to full primal squats but the flexibility in my ankle isn't quite there yet. I do still use the rolled mat against the wall method. Dead hanging. I still use my climbing hang board a lot as it has no impact on my ankle and I want to keep my finger strength. When someone new tries a hang board I always advise them to keep their feet or toes on the floor and then put their body weight onto their hands or fingers. Cossack squats, I haven't done but I'll definitely look into doing them now. Thanks for a great video, I've subscribed and liked.

Eloquently explained with no guff as usual, simple movements that ultimately will improve flexibility, balance and posture.
