Just want to reiterate how great these tutorials are for us. And you’re a great teacher - and Capture One needs to give you a raise. Ha. But seriously - in this video alone - I learned a few things that I had no idea I could do. And I’ve been using Capture One now for a few years after moving away from Lightroom - so please keep these coming. They’re so helpful.

I'm voting for 'Tips & Tricks' part 2! Fabulous job- it really helps! I import B&W jpgs along with RAW to see how it looks and then delete them (too limited for editing). Is there a shortcut key for B&W enable? Is there a way to import AND create a variant with a style (B&W!) without going through 'import-jpeg-and-delete'?

Thanks! Now to the questions posed:
      1) For now, there's no such shortcut.
      2) You may use 'Clone variant' command and apply B&W style/adjustment on a selected variant.

@@CaptureOne This is me holding my head. I don't know why that never occurred to me. Works fine. So much better. Sigh. This is why we need more 'Tips and Tricks'! In my meager defense, it would be nice to have the option on import to create a variant and apply a style to that variant. I'm sure there's room in the Import --> Adjustments --> Styles pulldown for a bit more digital ink ;) Thanks! Uhhh, maybe nudge the programming gnomes to think about a B&W shortcut key?

I am interested also in your way of backing photos up. So you say that you have all your pictures on an external SSD - which makes perfect sense from speed perspective - however, how are you now backing things up? I have los a hdd with nearly all pictures on it. I am using a NAS with 2 drives mirrored. But the speed is.... well, not that good.
Could you give some insight on how you are dealing with this?
I dont get warm with the C1 back up function, but may be I just dont get it...
