Marcus's name has been popping up much lately and only the other day at the Roman Fort in Corbridge by a guide.

Marcus is also a great guide to stoicism. Although not as much as Epictetus. However, he applied this during the Roman Empire and put this movement of thought to work in a useful way.

@@InspiringStoicMan Thanks, if only we had Democritus's cheerfulness today in Britain! Oh! the irony of the Romans turning to Christianity, after what happened to Jesus! Though it took a while.

@@InspiringStoicMan Marcus was mentioned at unique Hexham Abbey, Northumberland too. Maybe something in the crypt as well. The stones came upstream from Corbridge's unusual Fort and stones have an aroma, another grey stone is prized and nestles in an alcove, 1st aisle in Carlisle Cathedral with a resin/burn marks/glazed. No-one will afford the truth at either Holy place, all kept secret. A plant which looks like a cannabis plant also gives off a similar aroma to the stones in autumn in Tullie House gardens, Carlisle, someone prunes it each December, back to one or two shoots. I presumed the pruning was to do with new Israel 1948? Grey stones makes me think of the 'Grays' aliens. Hexagonal shapes in a crashed craft in Area 51 as well. A nice man walking Hadrian's Wall told me humans were altered to obey orders and the Romans had assistance from higher bodies. What bothered me about Carlisle cathedral was the boasting of the Free Masons with a plaque that they paid for and constructed the new alter, but maybe favouritism/secrets are OK in other worlds? In history, locals from Hexham stood up with consequences, yet part saved the Abbey. I reckon there's an unknown link between Hexham, Keswick and Carlisle, perhaps other points too like Dumfries or across to Newry and back to Preston or Lancaster??? The Lakes have graphite too, so pure carbon like diamonds.
