I wonder if the 'test' version of deltarune with the new gamemaker LTS update will have any secrets? I imagine it will, considering the newsletter was mainly just a progress update (and some amazing art and images/gifs!)
Nope, the test version was actually supposed to come out with this newsletter, but the gamemaker update was delayed. Toby also said the the test version is literally the same game it just launches differently

I know nothing about gamemaker, but would this effect how things are saved across chapters? Like how in chapter one if you do tell noelle about the chalk, she gives you some. I don’t quite understand how that would work if each chapter is an independent project (Again I am stupid and don’t know how gamemaker works)
@@imachair4681 the save file is stored outside of the game project that the game is built inside, instead just being within the Deltarune game folder. So when you load up ch2 with a ch1 save, it just grabs it from the Deltarune folder. (Though it could still mess up which is why Toby is doing testing, so good thinking on your part)
So chapters 3&4 individually being shorter than chapter two but both being longer than 1&2 probably means that there is going to be more weird route content?
Talking in numbers you could say Chpt1 is 1L (length) long and Chpt2 is 4L long. Together they're 5L. Chpt3 is 3L and Chpt4 is also 3L. So they're shorter than Chpt2, but together they're 6L which is longer than both Chpt1&2.

Doesn't really line up due to the capitalization in Another HIM most likely stating the connection of the OST with Geoff/Gaster, but the fact that it feels like it means something might be worth acknowledging.

Actually, I think it’s a reference to the shadowguy’s stats, so, when balancing, they can change an enemies stats without having to change their check text every time.
