Meeting Stevie changed his soul he Evan says it they were the first black and white to sing together on a stage in that era the sung this to change racial systems and it's slowly changing
Glen's hair ain't blowin in the wind, that's for sure. I think that's the most perfect(ly in place) hairdo on a man I ever seen. Not a hair outa place, beither hair nor there. Beautiful gospel version. Thanks guys!
Seeing this made me cry omg Glen could sing soul & play guitar and I truly hope heaven exist so I can see him & all the artist I love once more around with my family there I miss my baby brother Russell.... love to all ! Blessings life is lived once where do we go! 🖤
I remember Paul Young saying, "Music is the best form of communication." It definitely showed in Stevie and Glen's performance. I would have added "and connection" to what Paul said. Along with Stevie and Glen connecting so beautifully when performing this composition, I have no doubt that they conveyed the song's message to the audience. It definitely resonated with me--that in life, sometimes questions remain unanswered. Thanks for this upload.
Yes he was honest enough to say he didn’t. He’s probably under 40 years old. Rob- Glen Campbell was a country boy who grew up poor in Arkansas, he was an amazing virtuoso guitar player, one of the very best, a tremendous soulful singer, excellent songwriter, and handsome and charismatic showman. As one of the other commenters put it, he had it all, the complete package. And, as another put it, this really was a meeting of two giants, and I guess three if you count Dylan who wrote the song. What’s really moving and sad to me about this clip, is the hope and the dream of peace and brother and sisterhood that so many millions of people felt back then, as something that might come true in the near future. How long ago, and far away, that seem now-like a dream that fades away in the light of day. .
Pee Hawk, Glen's fantastic, check out his songs with Billy Preston, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole and Dionne Warwick on You Tube. He was always a big fan and admirer of his African-American counterparts and fought to have them on his TV show in the late 60's when the network was not overly receptive to the idea. He was the only White artist invited to sing at Ray Charles' funeral.
Cool Brother Stevie Wonder wish he can be healed from Too turn it Around in The Lord For him to see and stay healthy and happy and prosperous and healed and that's my prayers beyond my opinion For Everyone A Heaven on Earth Forever For Us ALL Amen in The Lord Jesus Christ period Amen.
Stevie Wonder doesn’t see color. Think about that. Yet, sadly, we live in a world where he was still made aware of the color of his skin. When will we finally come together? These two men wished to see it in their lifetime. We must fight so that we may see it in ours.
Stevie and Glen, doesn't get much better than this!!
1969, ,I'm sure they hoped things would change. But nothing has. They sang with so much hope. And I'm glad I've found this song.
People don´t see the manipulation. In Ukraine it´s only about the money. That´s always the real reason. MONEY and SEX.
Me too
Not in Australia and not in the world since I made that first comment.
Like John McEnroe Said ,You can not be serious!
The blacks and democrats keep the race going, its a crying shame. They have been brainwashed to keep it going and are blinded to the truth.
Devine........Simply Devine !!!
Even modern artists who use auto-tune microphones on stage can't sound this perfect. These cats are gettin' it!
Glenn Campbell and Stevie this is epic awsome job
That look from Campbell at Stevie says it all. True admiration.
@Zappa Crappa. 👍👍👍
Exactly. They both love music and recognize greatness when they hear it. What a true joy in a hard world.
I listen to Stevie’s version everyday
I wern't expecting that from Glen ..He a soul man . Brilliant
Meeting Stevie changed his soul he Evan says it they were the first black and white to sing together on a stage in that era the sung this to change racial systems and it's slowly changing
Stevie, run and melisma wise, was so ahead of his time. Basically all RnB artists started singing like him.
Lol! He hung in there with Stevie! Lol! Loved it!☺
Glen's hair ain't blowin in the wind, that's for sure. I think that's the most perfect(ly in place) hairdo on a man I ever seen. Not a hair outa place, beither hair nor there. Beautiful gospel version. Thanks guys!

Glen, up there in heaven with Otis Redding.

Didn't need so much violin, but Stevie and Glenn together are amazing!
If I had my way, I would mix out ALL the string sections in all recordings except classical music. The arrangements are so heavy handed.
I listen to this over so many times. Nothing's changed much in society ,
It´s all about money and sex.
Look how young they are, this is gold❤❤❤❤
Two of the all time greats. Like watching Ruth and Mays on the same team.
Gave me chills ,amazing duet of heart and soul !
Great , Great, GREAT ! Nothing more to say...!
Masterpiece!
Brings tears to my eyes every time I watch. Stevie got the spirit on him in this video. Beautifully sung by both artists.

Rob Green, you don’t know who Glen Campbell is?

More than fifty years ago ... how come humanity has gone so downhill since then.

The Cowboy And The Dreamer .

Yes Glen was a Beast in his own right at this time! Nevertheless Stevie killed it solo!
Bad. Ass.
