Quick question do i have to have the switch inside in order for the mirrors to fold and unfold if thats the case i just want a side mirror that shows the signal on mirror and a puddle light the folding is bad ass but i dont want that switch inside my truck and dont have the rest of the harness in my truck its a 04 Silverado i hope i made it where u understand my question thanks bro again great vids
Thanks and if you have a 04 With power mirrors now, you can just install the 03-06 Dl3 Power folding mirrors with turn signals, and factory puddle lights and they should work but most likely you have to change the window master switch and passenger to get them to power fold, right now I haven’t been able to finish testing the 03-06 trucks since I don’t have it. This switch in the video is more for the 99-02 older trucks

Ok first of all thanks for the videos, the way you explain everything is just awesome, so I watched both videos the one with the 3 relays and the toggle switch and this one with the Escalade OEM switch, I have the power folding mirrors on my 99 Silverado I have the turn signal working and I have the folding mirror working with the Escalade switch, the way I wired the switch is ground, 12v key switched from a fuse only 12 volts when is on, lock and unlock wires from BCM and illumination, if I want to fold and unfold the mirrors with the alarm should I do just this with one relay or should I do it with the 3 relays, will this work when I put the truck on drive? I have a BCM from a 01 Silverado and my truck locks when I put my truck on drive, thanks hope you understand what I’m asking sorry about my English and thanks.
I see what you mean, if you are using the Escalade switch to open and close the mirrors you only use one relay and it will work with your alarm/factory remote and door locks. Since the Cadillac switch only uses one button to control them, so If you press lock or unlock twice it will move the mirrors again in the opposite direction. And with this wiring the mirrors will work like normal while driving with the switch and no door locks. Hope that helps and Thanks!

Because I have the factory plug from the Escalade wired to 12v, ground, lock, unlock and illumination remove that connector and do the relay process and solder the red wire to the board on the switch right? Thanks again.
@@LJimenez0185 Yes the switch needs to be unplugged to solder a new input inside. After that it gets plugged back in like factory except now it has 1 extra wire which can get controlled by wiring up the relay

Yes if I get a 03-06 and make it work👍🏼 The good thing is that year will have good control over the mirrors

If you have the 02 Cadillac switch installed yes, if you don’t it will not work. 03-06 is a different wiring set up
