Just bought holistic tarot
Great choices! Would you consider doing a video about your favorite books that come with decks? Some give wonderful insight to the meanings of the cards, even though the decks themselves aren’t ones I would use frequently. (Mythic Tarot comes to mind)
Amy, this is a FANTASTIC idea, I do have a video coming out in a few weeks about Why to Read the Guidebook, and I give a few examples of companion books that I love that have come with decks. But I will definitely film this idea in the future :)

Wonderful video. I just got into tarot reading and was overwhelm by the amount of books out there. This list help me alot. I love it when you introduce your book in there as well, make me know I'm putting trust into the right person.

As always, your posts are so dangerous to my bank account and my amazon wish list just keeps on growing! :D I have 78 degrees of Tarot Wisdom as one of my first books (yours was actually my very first tarot only based book). The funny thing is that when I have it out my 8 year old son who has non-verbal autism always steals it and can't stop looking at it!

Thank you ❤️ * would love a part 2. I just love the history and mixed mythologies of the cards. As an 'intermediate beginner' I find knowing the symbols and their historical meanings helps me to remember the cards better

I love your Tarot Court book! Your explanations instantly helped me feel more connected to the cards from the first few chapters and now I don’t panic as much when they appear. It would be amazing if there was audible version of this and your other books, you have such a soothing voice!

Lol I literally just ordered Your Tarot Court for myself, as I've been learning tarot for a while and I have a few of the most recommended books already, but I wanted to get deeper into my studies. I started before these reviews existed on UA-cam. My 78 Degrees is purple.
I'm now looking up reviews for some books to buy for a friend who is getting into tarot but seems frustrated at not "getting it" because I don't think she has any of the good beginner books. What a coincidence for me to see that the video I turned to for recommendations is from the author of the book I just ordered! I am now subscribed to your channel.

In my personal experience Vincent Pitisci is the go to author for Tarot his understanding of how the Tarot actually works in my opinion is unparalleled 🙏 His newest book Bare Bones Tarot is definitely a must have 🙏

I really need to get some of these books and start reading! My favourite tarot book by far is All of Our Stories but Little Red Tarot. I treat books as sacred but this one hit so hard I actually started underlining passages. It’s the book I’ve found easiest to relate to my life.

i almost missed benebell's 3rd edition of SKT tarot. i was just waiting for her notification on her channel which never came. and her name pop up when i was looking for lenormand cards. and sure enough her blogs is very detail. and in so doing found out that she is already taking preorder since March.
Loved this Ethony! I have a few books but not any of these and I’m just now beginning my tarot journey. Well my question to you hun is there were a few books you had mentioned that I want but at the moment I’m only going to get purchase one. Tarot for Yourself, Holistic Tarot, Tarot Deciphered, and The Big Book of Tarot they all caught my attention so in your honest opinion which one would be absolutely perfect for me to get to absolutely teach me anything and everything about each card ? I love a book that describes in wonderful detail all about the cards, elements, different type of readings, the history, symbols numerology and maybe different spreads! So honey if you could just give me an idea of the absolute best one I know it’s hard because you love them all but I’m only getting one so just your opinion would mean so much and it’s greatly appreciated as well ! ✨💫🌟

Out of every book I've tried, Holistic Tarot is hands down the best. It should always be #1 lol id like seventy eight but it's almost impossible to get a copy of it. It's a bit weird that it's not in ebook form, even after new edition release.

It would literally never cross my mind, assuming that Audible is reserved for mainstream titles only! I recently got into book listening as my eyes can only take that much of reading! Are there any major differences between the newer version of 78 degrees versus the older one with the purple cover?
Hi Alyssa, No they are the same in most ways. The new one (orange color) has a new introduction but the bulk of the book text is the same

once i've read benebell's book, i dont see any need for other books. i basically just have my library order them for me and i read the small book that comes with my cards like the one from linestrider tarot, apokalipsis, and the greenwitch tarot.

“The Tarot Revealed” A Beginner’s Guide by Paul Fenton-Smith is another fantastic book which I use all the time. Easy to read with down to earth anecdotes.
