My land burned to Ash last year...but this year, the elderberry trees have already grown to over 10 ft.The berries are more brilliant than they have ever been.Every medicine plant has come back 10 fold, and there are even some new plants that wearnt there before.

Hey dane apparently the mainstream medical industry has started promoting something natural and yes its elder😁(my nan told me it was on the news) I think I gonna make some of this😊 also will they make dye?🤔 I just made a vid about basic colours and one on making a pressure flaker with elder wood coz of that easy to remove pith and I wanna do more primitive technology with elder...its a very soft delicate tree but yet its a mighty tree one of my favourites 😊 comes close to yew...yew is my favourite tree🙃🙃

Every now & then somthing natural pops up in TV but never seems to catch on! I know that elder has been used for dye throughout history but we've never tried. Onion skin's works Suprisingly well as dye as it goes.

Only just found your channel and absolutely loving it ♥and all of you. I want to but one of your books but as I'm a little short on money which would you suggest first? I'm very interested in things like this elderberry syrup and the cordials, fruit leather. I'm also Vegan but I gather from the comments, it's best to use maple syrup or sugar as the honey substitute but I was just wondering if any of the honey's you make would work or agave? TIA

Hi there.apologies if you have already answered this question. Do I just gently heat the honey to melt so as not to destroy the goodness. Also. Does the cooking process not kill the goodness. On a side note...I made some before and didn't cook it enough a few years ago and it fermented in the bottled... was explosive!. So transferred to plastic but had to use quickly ! Thanks so much for your inspiration. Irish fan ☘🌟💫
