GUYS I know I messed up with the Sawk, Throh, and Timburr. For some reason my mind was POSITIVE Team Plasma blocked that route until after gym but I'm just silly. And I KNOW that I didn't talk about Beartic and Vanillish, it's because they're only available during Winter. I should've still mentioned that fact. You don't need to be the thousandth person commenting it. (but feel free to say something else!) Honest mistakes, I've never done anything like this before, and nobody is perfect. Thank you for at least being kind while constantly reminding me lolololol
+TheSilverSlasher I was right about to tell you that!
TheSilverSlasher porn
Isn't Vanillite available in the cold storage all the time, not just winter
Nate Wright thats what I think
Vanillite is available year round in the Cold Storage.
I think you forgot to mention Elesa's "Volt Switch" spamming constantly throwing you off. I hate it so much.
I know I'm a year late but I hated it too
MaxOnator3 I know I’m 4 months late to your comment, but I agree
@@ZedEditz31z I know I'm a week late but same
LittleBitof This I know I’m 14 minutes late, but offtopic what’s ur fav Pokémon game?
@@ZedEditz31z I know I'm 7 minutes late but, I have 2 fav pokemon games "Pokemon DP and Pokemon Conquest"
My sister swept Elesa. With SAMUROTT! I don't know how but I guess she must have only used it because all her other Pokémon were like level 11
epicgamersaurus she probably just revived her Samurott using the lvl 11 pokemon as fillers
The Glasses she told my she only used samurott during the fight
This sounds like my sister because she a lvl 70 emboar by the 6th gym.
Younger siblings have crazy pokemon strategies as in over grinding.
epicgamersaurus ya elsas only tough if you didn't grind I have to and and it was easier in b2 with magnimate growlth with dig and trapinch
Like my brother's Emboss in his first playthrough!
Who is that sexy guest in your video?
Eryizo his name is silver. the other guy looks like a neeeeeeerrrrrrd lol
Eryizo Elesa
Eryizo Drayden. Mm-mmm that sexy jaw...bandana...thing.
Eryizo the Sexiest guest was Haxoku (Haxorus Goku)
Elmo and Grover
"Rock Throw has mediocre accuracy."
Shows on-screen that Rock Throw has 90 accuracy.
Dude, 90 is not mediocre, that's actually pretty good. I mean for comparison, Will-O-Wisp has 85 accuracy, and Focus Blast has 70.
Maybe not for you but 90 accuracy to me feels like a 60% chance to hit lol
TheSilverSlasher There certainly are those days. I feel ya man.
Sai Prime I somehow dodged 3 rock throws but got hit by the first focus blast lol
I always hit with Focus Blast.
Sai Prime Anything below 100% is a mediocre accuracy imo. It's not horrible of course, but any chance to miss can be huge
You guys made some mistakes:
-You can get 3 fighting types before Lenora: Sawk, Throh and Timburr.
-For Elesa, you can have a Sandile with Rock Tomb and Dig, which you can get by TM on Route 4 (I think it's 4) (Also, Sandile is still weak defensively, but Dig can hit really hard)
-Breeders can't be rebattled in BW. Only on BW2.
The video was cool, but you guys took a lot of information from BW2. Like "not counting Challenge Mode" wehn there's no Challenge Mode in BW. It was kind of wierd.
For Sandile I still think it's meh because Dig can't hit Emolga and Rock Tomb is not STAB, and I figured I'd put the challenge mode part in every episode so that it's always clear and the introduction to the series is always the same. As for Lenora I just forgot that the next route wasn't blocked off. Also the breeder thing is weird, swear I've challenged em over and over in BW but I guess I'm just crazy lol
Also, I didn't want to offend you, or say you were bad, it's just a critic, I guess haha
After just beating Black and White myself doing a whole journey run for sun and moon when viewing this i saw the very same Mistakes you had mentioned. Also you could be lucky before fighting Elesa if you got Drilbur in the wellsprings cave and leveled him up. i always do in ever adventure in my B/W journey get either sandile or drilbur and teach them both rock tomb and i usually get the job done :3 Also I'm a grind Heavy guy and i know for a fact the breeder dude mention in the video is B2/W2 exclusive.. I Audino trained my mons xD
sweeterthansweet I know I used a sawk to take out Lenora that really confused me.
Yeah that was....kinda lazy to be honest.
I disagree the Dragon leaders were one of the easiest in the game
Elesa was a nightmare in all 4 Gen V games
Justin Powers emolga says hi
It's easier in the sequels because you get much better Pokemon before fighting here. Whereas in the originals there was only the Pokemon mentioned in the video.
I beat the entire Dragon gym in White with just my Samurott. It was a little overleveled.
You can find a tm for rock tomb, as well as a tm for dig, which will cause a drilbur or sandile to easily beat the gym. At least, that's what I did.
Mudkip971 she was cake, i one shotted her emolgas with a fire punch from darumaka, nearly one shotted the zebstrika too
I caught and used Vanillite for the last three Gyms. Ice over Flying; Mirror Shot for the Ice gym; I destroyed the Dragon Gym.
I can't believe you forgot how you can easily get a Timburr, Sawk or Throh outside the Pinwheel Forest before facing Lenora. You would probably train there to level up before facing her anyway so you would encounter these Pokemon and catch one. You can't even blame it on the fact that it is the area past the city because you acknowledged how you could for Burgh and Skyla. You also forgot how Vanillite can be caught in Cold Storage for the Dragon Gym, not to mention Cubchoo and Cryogonal in Twist Mountain. You made some pretty big mistakes this video which could have changed the outcome and I feel they should be addressed as a prologue to the next video.
The Nerd Beast he put a comment saying his mistake
You can also catch a level 37 Beartic with Icicle Crash in Icirrus City in the winter, and Beartic learns Blizzard at level 45
The Nerd Beast they also forgot u get rock tomb in desert resort and can get a stoutland go to move tutor make it learn ice fire and thunder fang and u can get scald aswell in the cold storage lol the hardest gym leaders became the easiest and also that u can get gyro ball in tm mart of nimbasa city and flamethrower tm and fire blast tm and blizard tm stone edge tm and ice beam tm aswell u can use uturn as an option with its tm with that u can also get litwick and evolve it in the tower so its obvious elesa won since u cant always relay on a 50 base power move with 10 pp
Well before you go to the 2nd Gym Timburr will be a great choice than sawk and throh because it can be easily caught than sawk and throh in the 3rd gym catch a damuraka lv.18 it could take advantage agianst burgh's leavanny in the 4th gym if you have a sandile find rock tomb for advantage of elesa's emolga's 2x and soft sand for raising ground type moves.
Next up is waifu, I mean Elesa.
You're weird...
@@snekladyrobin r/woooosh, it's on the video the phrase
@@snekladyrobin You're Weird
wtf
I meant @Dynamo Not @Neils
I used a Beartic to take out the dragon gym. It completely destroyed it by itself. Before getting one, my team was destroyed by the first trainer
I really hope you guys enjoy this new series and the first episode of it! (IT'S BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME COMING) Thanks for watching! :D ALSO keep in mind that we're not perfect. I already see some oversights on my part and all I can really say is sorry, I'll try my best to make the next one better.
TheSilverSlasher do u like undertale
Never actually played it tbh
TheSilverSlasher but you van teach sandile dig by the tm
you forgot to mention that you could catch a timbur and a sawk/throh outside of pinwheel forest to go against lenora
TheSilverSlasher Skyla is true Waifu :)
Innocent UA-cam tutorial: *mentions Draiden
Me: *Flashbacks to when I was 8 and crying because it was to hard
Wow... You haven't played Black and White that much
I've played every game many times, it's just that when creating a video that is all factual with no opinions (first time really trying that) of this length and with this amount of thought and research, it's easy to forget things or get things confused. Hopefully the BW2 episode will be better.
TheSilverSlasher poo
+TheSilverSlasher You know audino is a thing, right? You can level up pretty fast with them. You can go to the external part of the pinwheel forest and find timburr, sawk and throh to fight Lenora, there's a desert above Nimbasa city with sandiles and i know that Emolga is immune to ground type, but Krookodile can fight with no problem. And you can find a lot of ice types in the cold storage and in the twist Mountain, you shouldn't have any problem fighting Drayden or Iris
The hardest gym leader has to be Elesa
Keenan The Kat you are right
Keenan The Kat *emolga flashbacks*
TRY ME Same
studying with cats nah I caught a Sandslash outside her gym and one shorted everything with bulldoze and when I got to emolga I just switched to Palpitoad and Mud shotted the shit out of them. But this was in Black and White 2 so.
I still remember the guy who opened a n electric type gym next to a digglet infested cave 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🤣🤣😂
You're forgetting that you can get a Sawk, Throh or even a Timburr at the outside of Pinwheel Forest(The area with the Star Piece Rock) at the point where you have to challenge Lenora.
I had more difficulty with Elesa than I had with Drayden, but only since my Darmanitan was faster than his Haxorus and as it nearly knocked the Haxorus out, my Darmanitan was wearing a Rocky Helmet.
Got to say that the Haxorus did one shot both the Darmanitan and one more team member I had, so he wasn't easy.
I really liked the editing style in this. Also, a pretty in depth and informative video. I enjoyed this, and not only because generation five is my favourite gen. :)
I found the dragon leaders easy.. maybe because I had a vanillux, but I swept that gym
Same I Just used Ice Beam
Vanilluxe is supposed to end with an E!
the gym was harder than the gym leaders. seriously screw that one trainer with that op druddigon
You are actually able to get the TM for Dig on the way to the Desert Resort which Sandile CAN LEARN alongside Rock Tomb.
but that is still pointless against emolga ...
It can also learn Rock Tomb which Emolga is weak to.
I also taught my Sandile Rock Tomb to counter Emolga.
where do u find it? i 4got
krokorok with crunch *easy sweep bois*
4:32 That was hilarious with Sawk and Throh
I love to see your subs grow but man it should be waaay more.
Invid of INP Thanks man :)
“You must be this tall to ride this roller coaster” “aw sweet”
You can catch Timburr and troh outside of pinwheel forest
sawk?
A Jolteon I mean the outskirts of pinwheel forest
You could just go one route over to get timburr, sawk, or throh to combat lenora. That's what I always do. Also you could get a drilbur (which is rare but sooo worth it) in wellspring cave and level it up to learn rock slide to deal with elesa. Lilligant and whimsicott are also early-game grass type options. I know that I'm being annoying, but whatever this probably won't get noticed anyway.
Nice! I thought that I was the only one who would've recommended Drilbur. It and Excadrill are good for Elesa.
TonyAM I can understand not recommending it though, because while excadrill is generally more powerful that krookodile, drilbur is pretty hard to find.
You got me at "Throh, Sawk" and then showing Elmo and Grover.
I loved how you have Elmo and Grover as Throh ans Sawk lmao
You actually can catch a fighting type before fighting Lenora. Both Timburr and Throh/Sawk are available in an area just outside of Nacrene City
no they don't
A Jolteon only to pinwheel forest, not to the area outside. one of the npcs even recommends that you catch a fighting type pokemon there
For lenora, you can go to the next route before you fight her and pick up Sawk/Throh or Timburr,
And Sawk can get Sturdy to make sure Retaliate doesn't obliterate you. Then you can most likely oneshot it with Low Sweep or Double Kick.
Too bad if you want one in white, you have to hunt for it in shaking grass, where you pretty much only find Audino.
UnovaKid 24 That is good for training
or you can pick tepig and have a much easier time with the gyms overall
(no seriously the thing is so underrated just because of the type, which is pretty useful for most of unova, even down to n and alder)
I loved this video! Gen 5 is my 2nd favorite series
I remember not being able clear the dragon gym until capturing an ice cream cone to sweep the gym
1:32 you can catch sawk an throh at pinwheel forest
Sok and Throh*
Both of you are wrong - it's Sawk and Throh
Im sorry, but in the original black and white games couldn't you catch a timburr or a throh or sawk in the grass before pinwheel forest? If this is the case then the normal type gym leader is really no challenge sense you can get low kick even at the lowest level if you catch a timburr. even then you have throh and sawk how comes with more powerful fighting type moves even right after catching them ranging from Seismic Toss, Vital Throw and Double Kick and Low sweep respectively. I think this is a habit with Eryizo, I've seen one of he's "best starter" videos (I think it was for johto) and they're actually lacking in information in a couple ways, from what I can list off the top of my head, catching wild pokemon as team members, the gym leaders move sets, which exact game the data is based off of.
I can't in good conscience blame any of the mistakes on him. I thought Team Plasma blocked it off for some reason and didn't double check. At the very least, it doesn't change the outcome of the video, which is nice.
TheSilverSlasher While I agree the outcome of your video is still the same, it's still a relevant piece of information. I say this in mind that someone would look at this video looking at what to expect from the gym leaders of unova and what may work best against them. Overall this video is still a very informative and entertaining video, I'm just giving criticism.
Yeah I getcha. Also if you've only seen his Johto episode, the Sinnoh and Unova ones added a lot more consideration and factors, so hopefully those fill what you thought they were lacking.
the hoenn video got it All WRONG. Read the comment section of that vid for more details.

Skyla's Gym puzzle triggered me because I didn't know you had to o to the side of the cannon shooty things and I was going in circles for hours lol. (I never use walkthroughs)
I recall obliterating the Dragon gym with Vanniluxe. XD
Still! This is a great video!
sandile can be trained to krokorok and can get rock tomb and dig then you can get vannilite south of driftveil city
Vanillite is spelled with 2 L's, not 2 N's!
Can you do this for every region
I probably will! No idea when they will come out because these do take longer than Top 10's and stuff like that, but if the reception is good for the series I'll be sure to continue it! :D
Or not
"Normal type gym leaders are usually thought to be easy"
Whitney and Norman laugh at you.
The thumbnail would’ve made sense if the title was “Which Gym Leader Makes You the Hardest”
Of course Drayden and Iris are tough. They pull some serious...Hax in that fight.
Ryan Cauffman the door
Is that PurpleShep's voice???
I don't know what that is but a lot of people have said the same thing so sure!
Should have done more of this bro
LOL this video made my night laughing... good editing :)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no... the 2nd Gym in Black and White (With Lenora) was WAY harder than ANY other gym I have ever battled in my life... (Obviously, I haven't battled Whitney's Miltank yet...) Plus Lenora's Gym has the EXTREMELY difficult puzzle that NOBODY I know got through without a walk-through.
I got through Lenora's gym in Japanese and I don't speak the language LOL. Will admit that if you're not ready it's a tough gym though.
That is true. Plus, you can get a Timburr in the nearby forest, even if it is still under-leveled. Maybe it was hard for me because it was my first Pokemon game, so I didn't know much on how to beat the Gym, but I learned more in the later Gyms. By the way, thanks for replying! Most UA-camrs don't. :)
Please tell me you're kidding. The puzzle is not at all challenging. It's going to the bookcase above the one you're at, and up the ladder. I should know.
You could just get a tinier sawk or throu
I also used a Sawk. Idk, maybe I just had better luck with the harder gyms, and worse luck on this one gym? It's weird that all my friends had all the same issues as me. It is probably because most of my friends starter playing Pokemon with Pokemon Black, so we are all noobs at the beginning of the game.
I actually had a hard time against Clay and nobody else. I had a team prepared for my playthrough and I wasn't planning on using anything else, so all I had on my team by then was a Dewott with a crummy nature, a Boldore and a Sigilyph. His two first Pokémon were easy, it's the Excadrill that I forgot about, and it outsped everything on my team. I couldn't one-shot it with anything, so it had time to set up and then sweep. I didn't have a problem with the dragon users because I had a Samurott with an ice move by then. I didn't like my starter for that playthrough, but he got me trough that gym.
SnowScales i hated clay i tryed so hard and never beat him so i found a jailbreak to give leaders certain pokemon of your desire i gave him 1 magikarp
COMPLEATLY LEGIT WIN XD
IceFire emboar and heat crash helped out
I had to trade with a friend to get a second palpitoad the first time I went through
“Next up we have waifu” funniest thing ever heard so far!
Correction- You can catch a Throh in the area outside Pinwheel that is accessible before battling Lenora.
Dude I love ur vids
I wasn't the only one who thought that when he said "surprise" he was gonna trick us and say Marlon?
I found Elesa to be the hardest because I thought that her Emolga had lightning rod, which basically meant that I didn't want to use electric moves until I realised my mistake later. :P
The dig tm is available before Elesa's gym meaning you can have a far stronger ground type attack than sand tomb far sooner. You can also get the rock tomb tm in the desert resort to give sandile a super effective coverage attack to use against Elesa's emolga.
The route after Nacrene City is available before you fight Nacrene Gym and it has a Sawk and Throh... so no problems there.
It's been a while since I played Black or White, but isn't Twist Mountain and its Ice-type Pokemon an option for going against the dragons?
You can actually access Pinwheel Forest's outer area to catch a Fighting type before the second gym, as it is Lenora's gym in Pokemon Black/White, not B2/W2. (Although it is true that the prior routes don't contain any Fighting-type Pokemon)
Elesa's volt switch, Clay's excadrill, and Skyla's type superiority were consistently the hardest in all my playthroughs with different teams
can't you catch a timburr or a sawk/throh in the entrance to pinwheel forest BEFORE you challenge Lenora? and get the TM for rock smash from an ace trainer in the same area?
For Lenora you can get a Sawk or a Timburr on the very next route. You're not blocked from accessing it.
Well thank you very much for helping me build my overpowered team
These two are so good together collabing
THE INTRO IS HEARTLESS AAAAA-
OMFG WHEN I SAW SAWK AND THROH I WAS IN STITCHES
Ok couple of mistakes:
You CANNOT re battle breeders in B/W only in the sequels.
Before Lenora, you can catch Timburr, Sawk and Throh in Pinwheel Forest.
Before Clay, you can catch Pansage in either Lostlorn or Pinwheel Forest. You can also get Vanillite in the Cold Storage.
Before Skyla, Klink, Ferroseed and Tynamo can be caught.
So can Cubchoo in the next route if it is Winter.
Drayden/Iris can be countered with Krookodile.
Teach it Outrage as a move reminder or Dragon Claw as a Tm.
Same goes for Scrafty.
Also dont forget Cryogonal, Beartic, Vanilluxe, Swanna and Simipour.
You can also teach a Pokémon Rock Tomb and/or Dig, two TMs that are available to the player before challenging Elesa.
I came here for tips on beating Eelektross. then I remembered that's in the sequels
No one ever seems to remember Cryogonal is a thing in winter twist mountain.
I remember the last gym being really hard when I was a younger, but after playing it recently I wiped irises team with a level 41 fraxure.
There's literally cubchoo nearby the 8th and 7th gym, and that's a pretty good Beartic. Beartic owns. Should've been elesa. Have you actually played through the games again? Or recently at least?
I remember fighting the dragon gym thinking I was ready. It took so many tries. I still shiver at dragon types
Never have I even thought an electric Zebra would be my worst nightmare...I was stuck on that gym for days!
Also! You forgot about Sawk/Throh
7:31 Because we are in the beam!
Beartic with Icicle Crash was a boss for me against the dragons... although I originally wanted to play in autumn I ended up with winter and I'm glad
I always had trouble with the first, second and fourth gyms in unova. I would always catch a timburr next to pinwheel forest, which made the second gym a little easier. I'm stupid though, so that's probably why
In the second Gym account, you can catch a Timburr on the next route, which you can go on before you beat her.
For the last Gym, we have cubchoo...
That time when you accidently realesed your pignite and then captured Sawk and he became your main
I'd like to point out 2 things about the 2nd gym
1. Roggenrola is a tank (but this might be due to be having it on a nuzlocke and only having that and one other for her gym - yes I was very unlucky)
2. there are 2 or 3 fighting type pokemon on the next route that you have access to BEFORE you fight the gym
now this is quality.
ayy glad you like it! :D
I've got tips for you:
Elisa: Palpitoad, teach echoed voice with TM from girl in musical theater, constantly use it. (I sweeped her team with this!)
Drayden/Iris: Vanilluxe, Golurk, pokemon with will-o-wisp (for attack power reduction), or Boldore
XD the voice of Purple Shep .
The one time I played through White, Elesa was the one I lost to the most. For Iris, I caught a Druddigon, and used it's Dragon Claw.
You can find Sawk or Timburr at pinwheel forest, which are both fighting types for Lenora
>never struggle with the dragon gym at any point
>didnt use excessive grinding because then i wouldnt have struggled with elesa
Dude, what was with the Joey Pigza "In a week or two" about?
Elesa kept spamming Volt Switch
When I played (using Emboar as the starter with really only Levanny as a relevent party member) I only had difficulty with Clay and Dryden since Dryden was more of an endurance test added (since going to the Poke Center was more hassle combined with me rushing to finish the plot because of how the plot went)while Clay was seeing how far Arm Trusts and Razor Leaf did. Type effective against GYM 2,3, and 7, 4 was a speed race with me spamming Flame Charge so it didn't matter, 1 was easy because of its nature of type effectiveness teaching, 6 was just Heat Bomb with a heavy Pokemon and the Elite 4 was largly the same (the ones super effective against went down easily and the not so ones were who could deal most quicker) . Heck even N and Ghetsis weren't the epic strenuous battles that most claim they were because Reshiram.
My "Jailson" was a Haxorus in the last gym and i just OHKO all of Iris' team lol
you forgot for lenora you have access to the outside of pinwheel forest which has SAWK (or throh in white)
can't you catch a beartic/cubchoo in the same route bryce's gym is on? and a druddigon from that tower on it
for Elesa it's not just roggenrolla and timburr line, you can get a drilbur which can learn rock slide and rock throw
without outleveling or Pignite or Pansear, Burgh was literally impossible
also, Elesa was a nightmare
3:53 Bad Time lol 😂 So true!
That's only in BW2 the Breeders can be rebattled each time you re-enter a route.
Lol sawk and throh are elmo and grover! I had that idea too!
I remember my shiny sandile which was quite a handy mon during my play through I think it was White , White 2 or Black 2.
Buuuuut if you catch a Joltik in Chargestone Cave it'll probably be a Galvantula by Mistralton Gym's end, and mine was able to OHKO Skyla's entire team with Volt Switch. (It did switch out, but it still gives the prompt to switch so he could switch back in)
Er, Drillbur can be caught in Wellspring Cave, and has access to Rock Slide and Hone Claws to patch up its accuracy/counter Emolga's Double Team. And either Beartic or Vanilluxe can handle Drayden/Iris. (Vanillite can be found in Cold Storage in any season while Cubchoo can be found in Twist Mountain in any season, albeit more commonly in winter)
TheSilverSlasher you could get a good fighting type like sawk(black) throh(white), or timburr on the path near the entrance to counter the second gym leader Lenora.
I remember consuming all pp of ice beam in that dragon type unova gym in those games.
nice vid
for elesa i just taught my herdier rock tomb and dig and boom her whole teams dead
that's why I caught a roggenrola for those gyms and archen too
