Pico technology? I'm starting the proccess of getting a whole inner arm tattoo removed, it goes from the elbow joint all the way to my wrist. Clinic said it would take 8-12 sessions over a time period of about 2 years. Clinic said that my artist had put the ink in very nice, so nice that it actually becomes a downside. But that also means 0% scarring afterwards, and it'll be able to be totally removed like nothing was ever there. Some people say that's alot of time, but you look at all the horror stories of the tribal trend done back in the 90's. Artists were more rough and used enough ink to cover an entire back. I've heard of some tribals and generally old tats taking 4-7 years to remove. I'm delighted, if you look at my tattoo you would never believe that it will only take 2 years to remove. It's filled in with so much black. Lucky me that black & grey tats is way easier to remove than colored ones. I mean. I would expect nothing less for the multiple award winning lounge, and my artist charging 1.000$ a session. I've gone on a whole rant here, sorry. Does your clinic use the newest Pico?
I appreciate your rant 😂 and I’m happy for you! 2 years sounds like a long time but I had 3 sessions split into 2 sections and that took about 8 months to complete comfortably. It could have taken 6 months if I was more diligent with follow-up appointments. This is to tell you that it will go by quickly. My clinic does use PicoWay laser. You can see some updated results in my newest video that’s coming out this Thursday. It’s amazing to see the progress. Good luck with starting your removal!
@@clarissaannsmith 2 years does sound long, but as soon as i can see actual progress i might be able to live with myself again. I knew as soon as i left the tattoo shop after 1 session and an arm full of ink, that i had maken a severe mistake. I was a little rattled when i found out how effective lasers have gotten. And i could not have gone to a better clinic, the guy who will be lasering me has gone through exactly what i have. He also knew as soon as he left the tattoo shop, and our reasons for the removal are the same. The first 2 weeks after the tattoo, i could not imagine any scenario which would be worse. I just realized that i was not supposed to mark myself. I 100% thought it would make me more unique, but i'm still the same regardless. I would have done anything for that tattoo to magically crawl out of my skin. I was blaming myself saying stuff like if i just didn't, if i just this and that. I have not tried something as mentally challenging. It most likely stems from getting told tats are the most permanent thing ever, and you'll just have to "live with it". I guess i'm probably one of the more severe cases of tattoo regret (textbook overthinker), but i'm finally coming to terms with it. I guess it had to take me getting a tattoo in order for me to realize that i actually didn't want one. I'll definitely be sticking around here, during and while i wait for my journey to start. And at last, i'll have a great horror story to tell any future kids 😂
The Sound of the Laser almost makes me feel pain 😂 i got laser tattoo removal myself, and it went kind of okay but not as i expected it to go. Figers crossed for your journey.
Oh I understand 😅 I try to skip over it when I edit lol! And thank you 🤞🏼 it’s looking good so far but I think I’ll eventually need more sessions than this
Hang in there girlie. I just started the process. My first session was 2 days ago. They put sani derm cover over it. Told me to keep it on for 14 days. Wow. How long until you see any progress? 2-4 weeks? When is the progress most noticeable?
I personally saw faint progress at about 3 weeks. Swelling fully goes down around that time for me. From there, I see more fading at 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks. Then I go in for another session! If you want to see your progress, I would recommend taking a picture of it once a week to track it. It gets difficult to notice your progress since you see the tattoo everyday. Wishing you the best on your removal!
From their website - "Removery uses only the most state-of-the-art PicoWay® laser technology to safely remove or fade unwanted tattoos. Picosecond technology allows the laser to go in and out of the skin at a much faster rate than a Q-switch laser, which is also commonly used in the tattoo removal industry. A picosecond is a trillionth of a second! The faster rate causes the ink to break down into much smaller particles, allowing the body to digest these particles faster as well." removery.com/tattoo-removal/our-laser-technology/
I’m in the same process, first session done and second one they scheduled on 20th day , Is it normal? Google says 4 to 6 weeks intervals between each session
I’m no professional, but it seems to be a very short turn around time… It may depend on the facility you’re going to and the type of laser they’re using on you. I would call to make sure that is correct. You can ask to schedule it much later if they insist that it’s fine. It’s your treatment, so I would do what makes you feel comfortable in terms of healing!
