Super informational! I appreciate you running through all the details and walking people through the process 😊 You’re a trooper for hanging in there!!!
I have a dark outline on my left bicep and I’m looking into getting it faded. I’m feeling better after watching ur videos. The artist who did my tat messed it up SOO bad. It’s been 12 years so I’m hoping maybe it’ll faded enough after 3 sessions.
I just started my first session on 2/9 at Removery in Sydney. They are super friendly and professional. I got quoted for 3 tattoos and yeah my first session went well , my tattoos turn brown at the moment- I haven’t noticed much different maybe after 2nd or 3rd session. I can’t wait to remove my 3rd tattoo ( fresh and only 2 weeks old- but I hate it ). During the healing process do you have scabbing ? Or just itchiness ?
Wow your tattoo turning brown after only one session is amazing! I did get scabbing - only when I got blisters, but even then there was no blood, just flakey skin.
@@clarissaannsmith oh one of my tattoo is very light with just shading , another one with lot of line works . The shading one turned brown real quick after laser few days after. Hopefully I can see more different after session 2.
I’ve been wanting to go to the removery in Brunswick, what one do you go to? And how is the service? I have a tattoo on my forearm I got super young and I’ve wanted it gone for soo long! So watching your journey in real time is really cool!
Hi! I go to the location in Newtown, PA. The service itself is always very smooth. I'm never waiting when I get there, they take me right in and I never feel rushed through my appointment. You can take as much time as you need to get through it & they make sure you're comfortable. They're very professional and efficient which I appreciate so much. I believe you can expect the same quality from any Removery facility, but I'd always read the Google reviews just in case! How big is your forearm tattoo?
@@clarissaannsmith that sounds great it’s not too huge luckily the whole top side of my forearm and it’s just an outline, I love that they have flexible payment options, I also like that they don’t have an aggressive laser that leaves it looking super red and blistered! Them flowers on the ribs looked soo painful, but that ladies seemed super kind and in no rush so that’s good 😌
@@metanoiabytaila1090 YES to the non-aggressive laser part! In my first video, I expressed that was part of the reason I decided to go here. I didn't want uncomfortable scabs for weeks/months on end. I did get some water blisters later down the line but they didn't hurt and went away fairly quick. Let me know if you decide to go with Removery too!
@@clarissaannsmith I sure will and I’ll share my experience too but they seem so great I’ll definitely check out google reviews like you said two there 3 different locations near me all fairly close by so plenty of option Can’t wait to see your full journey and process too 😊 something about seeing someones tattoos disappear is quite satisfying
Hmmm I wouldn’t say so! They’re different types of pain. The laser is more of a stinging feeling, while the pain of healing the first few days is more of a soreness
I looked into Removery but decided against them. Several people told me that if you buy anything other than a full removal package they will reduce the power of the laser to make it less effective, thus resulting in more sessions. I’m having an armband removed that goes all the way around. $800 for 4 sessions.
That’s interesting to hear… I’m not convinced that they are reducing the laser power for me, if anything I can tell the strength has been stronger with each session. The price difference is worth noting - would you mind sharing where you’re going and how your skin reacts after a treatment? How long does it take for your skin to heal after each session? Thanks in advance! :)
Came across this video. I have two collarbone tattoo flower sets. I wanted it very dainty but I ended up with bold bulky lines :/ I'm super investing into getting them faded significantly or removed
Ugh, that’s the worst… when the line work is not how you wanted. 😓 What’s stopping you from going ahead with removal? It took me a while to finally decide to do this. It was the right choice for me. Now I’ll have pieces that are exactly what I want.
It's faded a lot! I actually just made my final payment installment with Ally for a tattoo removal I'm getting-I have a super dense black tatoo so I still have a ways to go til it's gone, but at least it's paid off (I got the unlimited package)
I finish my payments soon as well! 🎉 Using Ally definitely makes it less of a hit to your wallet. How many sessions have you had so far? Are you documenting your process as well?
@@clarissaannsmith I just had my 7th session earlier in August, & I'm taking lots of photos of the progress. Being that mine is so dense, it can be frustrating because it's still very much there. But when I compare it to how it looked when I started, I can see just how much ink has been removed. I'm hoping that by this time next year it'll be gone or at least nearly gone, but those old 90s tribals can be stubborn
It’s healed well after each session and it’s fading SO much, especially the top half where there’s fine lines. The first 2 weeks of healing are always the most uncomfortable, but after that, it’s just a matter of moisturizing and massaging the area.
I just went to my nearest to me Removery and after I left; i feel like they are ripping me off. For about 6 square inches; they are charging me $2,640. Which based on your square inch; its a lot!!! And my tattoo is not shaded a lot amd its just an anchor with 2 lityle swallowed birds. Also; they never gave me a 3rd option like they gave you; to pay for x-amount until i feel comfortable with the color or shade. I feel a bit raped.!
@livingwithclarissa sorry I wasn't clear...that $2,640 is for unlimited sessions. But what I don't understand is that they are telling me that that price if I were to buy per session; would cover 7 sessions. But my tattoo is very small and like I said 5 square inches and it's not all black. My anchor is shaded but not fully black so I'd think that the procedure would take a minimal of 5 sessions. I think they are making it to be more sessions so I buy the unlimited package.
@@carpediemwithLesli It’s so hard to say how many sessions it’ll take :/ 3 sessions didn’t fully fade my thinnest/lightest tattoo. I’ve seen their page and some people take 10 sessions or more to completely get rid of a tiny tattoo. It’s super dependent on the person. I’m currently stuck thinking that maybe I should have asked for more sessions upfront. Either way, I’ll need to go back and that’ll cost me more money. It depends if you want to buy the unlimited now or take the chance of doing less sessions but possibly needing more in the future. All in all though, I do wish it was more affordable. I see pricing inconsistencies despite them saying that every location charges the same. Let me know what you end up doing!

Hi! They use the PicoWay laser

Not this time! Sometimes it frosts and sometimes it doesn’t. 🤷🏻♀️ Last time it frosted

Hi Clarissa, is this picosure?
Hello! It is PicoWay laser.
I need to get my ex's name removed I'm tired of looking at his name
Oof yeah get those bad memories erased 😅
Very expensive
Yes, but luckily they have a payment plan!
I find it gelpful to pinch my skin near tha area to distract pain
Sounds like a good idea, I’ll try it next time!
You can start a business with a few thousand dollars instead of adding and removing ink from your skin.
