I have been looking around and sampling videos for some training for my 4-month-old English Springer Spaniel and this is the best by far! Local training has been canceled due to Covid-19, we are housebound with our puppy. Not complaining, it is the right thing to do. Thank you 3 Lost Dogs.

Can i use different markers for different dogs? For example using different words like "yes" and "good" . Thanks a lot for your vids! They are extremely helpful!

I still have my clicker I got for Karma that he ended up being afraid of. Leanna is a little afraid of it too, for some reason, but I know that could pretty easily be fixed with her. This video reminds me of the passion I had for dog training when I couldn't really train a dog very easily, and is very tempting now that I have my first pet under my own name.. 👀 (It also reminds me that I tried to clicker train some of our ferrets. it didn't work. lmao)
Yes, do itttt :) A marker word would work just as well, to get you started. (Haha, I tried to clicker train my rats back in the day. Didn't work either. But now that I know what I'm doing, maybe I'll try rats again...)

From 6 mins.. all that clicking.. Belgian malinois looked like he was being rewarded for looking at your feed bag? What exactly were u clicking for.. what behavior??
Margaret Meaker he wasn’t clicking for behavior. He was clicking so that the dog would create an association of food with the clicker. That way he can directly communicate with the dog when he does something good and the dog can more accurately understand when he got something right.

Really i don't like clicker..all it can be made without using clicker that for me is to lose time.
Instead of using a clicker, I just say "Yessss" the second my dog does the action I want
