The TopspinPro looks interesting. I’d like to see how buyers feel it performs and personal video’s posted. It does seem a bit expensive, so hopefully some price breaks in the future.

The SpinPro is twice the size, weight and production cost of the TopspinPro and also comes with Free shipping which is why it is more expensive. It also allows you to learn any shot at every height and any type of spin as well as being a generic practice device. The TopspinPro was designed for specifically learning the biomechanics of topspin.

@@pickleballtopspinpro Thanks for your follow up. I’ll be watching and see how others like it before purchasing. I live up north in the cold climate and can’t take to the courts until spring. Looks like it would be great for correct repetitions. Happy Holiday’s

You are very limited with the older unit, top spin only.

Hey!! You can hit topspin with the old one but it's limited to mainly groundstrokes/topspin serve practice :) SpinPro lets you adjust the hitting zone any way you want so you can hit topspin, sidespin & slice and apply it to pretty much any shot - high or low!

Hello Greenlight! I'm really proud of the SpinPro. I put a HUGE amount of work into it. Your comment "waste of money" is, to be totally honest, a "waste of a comment". I'm all for criticism, but it has to be healthy. Tell me why you think it's a waste of money! Why, in your opinion, is it a waste of money. Where have we gone wrong do you think? At the moment I am pretty confident it will be a success. But neither of us will really know until the market has spoken. If it ends up averaging below 4 stars on the various platforms I will probably have to agree with you and say it has failed. But at the moment both of us would simply be speculating 😊

@@pickleballtopspinpro Because you can do drills with a partner or a coach and learn how to brush the ball. Once you learn how to brush and spin the ball, this big object is left in the corner of the room, takes up too much space, and becomes a waste of money.

@@greenlighttransport8320disagree this is better for individual training for muscle memory to supplement drilling with a coach or partner.

@@greenlighttransport8320 You have a fair point. We have found that with our previous product, the TopspinPor, once people master the skill they stop using it. Although many then shift how they use. it they might focus on footwork, or spacing, or a different part of their swing and then the product essentially becomes something to hit.
You are right - one can work on brushing the ball with a partner or coach but the beauty of the SpinPro is the sheer number of reps you can get in (in excess of 10-fold what you'd do with a partner). And reps are the bedrock of learning. A coach will give great tips for technique but they, or a partner, simply can't feed you enough accurate balls to get anywhere close to the reps that still-ball training offers. And the other bonus is you can use the SpinPro while you watch TV 🙂

@@pickleballtopspinpro I don’t think practice should ever stop, no matter ones level. Someone quoted Ben Johns saying that amateur’s practice until they get it right. Professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong anymore.
