This Term Buff is SUPER Underrated! (Paladins)

- Terminus got a very strange buff in the Paladins Banners Fall update which goes as follows: "Massacre Axe: Aim is no longer cached prior to his animation." Despite not seeming super important, this is actually a major quality of life buff for Terminus! Terminus's axe is now much more reliable, and in this video AndrewChicken explains why it was bugged in the first place and why this buff means so much.

Yeah that would be a really good change, allows Term to not be forced to be such an all or nothing (usually nothing) character

@@sebastianaltamirano4991 none of the 5 buffs we're Big buffs like 10 more dmg recharge habilities on ultimate and 1 point in speed
@@franciscofernandezmedrano9613 im not talking about that buff being small im saying that was invisible it was an increas of 0.05% movement speed or something along those lines it really didnt matter that buff the rest were spectable that speed buff wasnt

This bug is one of the reason people didn’t liked terminus…most thought his damage is just low
Yea, for what little my take's worth, I finally unlocked Terminus recently (just need to get Nyx and I'll have all the Tanks) - and he's felt super underrated.
Playing a Melee character in a shooter is always gonna be a tough one, but I think the *LUDICROUS* levels of dmg mitigation power siphon is capable of is very understated and helps compensate for most of Terminus' issues.

I played against AdrewChicken and half my team instantly gave up. As no surprise we lost.
Im glad terms getting love. Theres one card that needs bug fixed though, the card that makes you generate power siphon for hitting enemies with your axe, it doesnt work if you kill your enemy with a swing for some reason.

I feel Term has been good for a while but with this fix I feel he's a really good pick now.
Yeah this was my favorite change from this entire patch. I love playing term and suffered for years with this bug. And yes veteran is the better item on term
Nah, all term mains who are like 9 in total were waiting it with big excitement and we knew how good it was gonna be. Your average casual wont feel the difference.
Did this also fix makoas ult swings not hitting if they should?

Hey Andrew. I think rejuv should reduce the effectiveness of cauterize instead of add to the effectiveness of healing. This would make it a lot better in many aspects along with making healers less OP. This would affect Life rip, khan shout, buck recovery etc.
It's not a bad idea. The only problem i see is that it would become the most important item, like cauterize before it became a built-in mechanic.
That would simply make it the must buy item next to Armor Plating
@@paulieodrumgod if it scales to 30% still it wouldn't be much better than it is now. 30% of 50% lifesteal for example) is still only 15%. Still worse than armor plating, and not worth it over other important items
Really, they should do an event pass that turns off Arcane warding, Armor plating, rejuvinate, and veteran. Then, see how it feels after.

idk but if you find out let me know
İt does but it is only a small amount (without adding a third form of speed increase other than the card and nimble)
If you ever get the chance with a friend have a speed grock while playing term it's the funiest thing you become a freight train 🤣

Kinda side topic but I usually go vet on speed term for the same reasons as you (no diminishing returns and more hp scales nicely with any DR).
But I recently asked about vet vs armor plating on Reddit and quite litterally everyone said armor plating is better than vet because you give less credits and ult charge to enemies and you and you make your healer's duty easier.
Assuming that this community is somewhat different from paladins' sub on Reddit, I ask the question again : is armor plating better than vet even with a significant amount of diminishing return like on undying term ?
Armor Plating is better on pretty much every character for exactly the reasons as described. However, there are diminishing returns with DR just like everything, and that makes it comparatively less effective on Undying Term with the DR card. Still, it doesn't hurt to buy it, especially when above 50% HP. But if you don't want to worry about diminishing returns, Veteran is good.
@@AndrewChicken Idk why diminishing returns bothers me that much even if it's not that big of a deal. It feels like it's not optimized or something, just a gut feeling, nothing rational haha
I guess I'll be using the crush talent more, still with speed and DR card build. I mean this 1 sec stun can be clutch. It might not be meta but hey I'm playing Term sooo
