2 videos in 3 days? Better than my last christmas I have got to say
Maan, I m so looking forward to his videos, super quality content❤
Facts
They should be the same, but it got so long that He split them.
Not to seem rude but is it not 2 vids in 6days? Have I missed one???
6 days you mean
That interior is just.. spectacular. It's so nice seeing a humble E39 Touring (that's not even an Alpina or V8) getting this kind of treatment. Awesome work as always Sreten.. the content you're producing is just superb for us BMW enthusiasts :-)
Well, given it has 3 litre 6 cylinder under the hood, it is not really a humble E39. But I do agree the interior is spectacular.
@@legioner9 I do own prefacelift M62B44 but I'm super tempted to get proper 6-banger too 🔥
Not only for BMW enthusiast :)
There's just something about these older BMW 6 cylinders... I can't wait to get an E46 coupe with this engine. V8 E39's are badass too, but for a daily, I think this is perfection. Decent power, smooth, sounds good, and (relatively) cheap to run.
Couldnt agree more, awsome job ❤
I think it's great that Sreten promotes locally owned businesses, even if some of them are in other EU member states. (or even the UK)
They're all privately owned businesses & they all seem like they do amazing work...Sreten deserves to be over a million subs - let's see if we can make that happen for him this year!
M539 = OEM+ in every respect. Always blown away with the patience and level of detail given to everything!
Sreten interupts his regular programming with some useful learning about leather while the other "car channels" teach us how to stop balding.
I've had my E39 for 20 years now and this is some E39 Perfection!
LOL
And manscaping
what kind of car channel are you watching lol?
Congrats on the long term ownership.
@@jp3630 Thank you!
These vids always get me hyped to pull out a lawn chair and stare at my project car all day.
xDDDDDD
Same! Except that I don't have a project car.
Too true! In a similar boat. Get some project motorbikes they said...it'll be fun they said.
5 months later...at least the battery works 😂
Your words are comedy gold!
Lmaoo
Watching the Colourlock part, I have the impression that every single manufacturer in Germany is far superior than in every other country. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Strict standards do that, I call it over-engineering but almost anything you get here even food is top notch.
@@dswap123 I second that! Beer also🍻🍻🍻
@@dswap123 so why do so many german engines need timing chain jobs?
Everything except food.
Love the pride the guy has too
You know it's the best car content on youtube when you put a like on each video before even viewing it. You make our days better Sreten 💪
LOL same!
Never thought I'd like a grey interior, but this looks spectacular, great job!
Trust the germans to make a spectacular result of something grey.
I always find all interior colours look great brand new, especially in promotional material. The reason why black is so popular is because it never goes out of style, and it looks half decent when it ages. The grey and beige interiors never age well, so a refresh like this keeps them looking good.
@@rx-heaven8934 I always felt the opposite. Black interiors look horrible when they get old, and cracking is SUPER obvious. Also the leather aged, and hardens faster when its black, due to it absorbing more light. Plus, it just looks plain.
@@p-townshankzilla2654 Agree - black interior is OK for a coffin, but not for a car 🙂
Grey interiors have been back in fashion since 2016 ish!
The dude at lederzentrum is the German Jay Leno..
Man I love the OEM+ everything, it's so satisfying to see these kinds of cars get upgraded with current options and nice tech while also retaining the original look.
That's the thing I love about your channel, you help out other small businessmen, involve your audience and NEVER cut corners! Just a rare combination these days.
My favorite type of M539 video, interior resto OEM+ style! Also very cool that these big companies are helping you out, Vixen, Alpina, Gyeon, and now Colourlock. 👍
Same here, I'm a sucker for E39's aswell so it makes it even better.
The interior is gorgeous Sreten - having lumbar and massaging seats will make long drives far more forgiving on the body.
Perhaps you won´t ever want to get out this car? Not for the nearest 1000 miles at least.
EPIC !
Thank you Sreten.
Colourlock tour and Felix upholstery were amazing.
To my liking this is the best auto channel on UA-cam. Very entertaining, educational and effective: no 10-minute long stupid selfie intros and 20-minute lore from Adam and Eve. Bravo! 👏❤
And day just got better 😄
Gorgeous interior. It makes you feel good only by looking at it, yet climbing inside. The car looks superb. Also, I am glad that truly fantastic companies like Colourlock exist.
I am from the Netherlands myself but there is nothing better than to see a German technician talk about his work. It's amazing what these craftsmen did, both the leather and the electronics guy wow. When they say chat GPT is going to take our jobs these guys have nothing to fear, respect!
Well said and much agreed!
Habt ihr auch eine Preisliste
If your referring to M539 and that dude "Boro" that explains about leather and cosmetics for it...they are no Germans.
WOW! These Leather guys really take it serious, very good job! Its amazing how much expertise these seats needed over all.
Seriously bravo, you never disappoint. This wagon came a long way and probably worth 4 times the price now
It was really nice to know colourlock in more depth. I’ll be ordering from them when time comes to restore the seats in my car
Once again you have not failed to impress with your attention to detail and reviving old gems✌️
BMWs from 20 years back were really something else. Beautiful
Man, you always make me want an E39 even more.
Incredible result!! Makes my E39’s black interior look boring.
Same feeling bro, soo in love in Gray Montana 😍
This might be one of my favorite episodes. It was almost like, as an audience, we got to learn together with you! Truly amazing documentary level work here. Thank you
I stupidly let my E39 Touring go to someone who said they were going to restore it, but instead scrapped it for its catalytic converters. Very sad I didn't give it the treatment it deserved, but feeling better vicariously because of the fabulous job you're doing on Project Rottweil.
Really loved those leather gentleman's they are true professionals. Thanks for the video 🤝
Your perfection standards r getting higher & higher with every car .. it is an actual thrill to b notified of ur new videos & an altimate pleasure to watch them
this man never stop bravo 👏
The results are astonishing! E39 got a treatment like it deserves!
Sir, your videos are amazing! You are not just giving entertainment but informative and education content. It's a good day when your videos are published. Thank you!
That interior is so darn nice it is scary. Superb job by you and your partners in crime. well done. :)
How nice of Jay Leno to do a tour for you in Colourlock facility
Felix my dude, you're a rare breed. I wish we had more people like you and Sreten in this world, people who give 120% to what they do. Well done!
That interior couldn’t be more perfect and the colour combination with new wood is so slick!
My friend!! Watching your videos is like medicine 💊!! Can't have an even better day than watching you go! Always waiting for the next installment!! Notifications on all the time.
I feel the same !
It's amazing how timeless the design of this car is. The interior once restored looks more beautiful than 80% of modern cars.
honestly that interior is still on par if not better than newer luxury cars today. E39 is a timeless car
He couldnt stop himself from going above and beyond and then some more.
It’s great to see Project Rottweil get some much-deserved love after all this time. Goddamn, that interior looks unrecognizable from what you started with, Sreten. It looked like a Jackson Pollock painting when you started the restoration, now it’s beautiful and better than the factory. Felix and the folks restoring the leather did an amazing job, kudos to all of them for their hard work. Great content, as usual, your editing skills are second to none. Keep up the great work, my friend and we’ll see you on the next episode.
My favourite OEM+ upgrade for the e39 was fitting the e38 illuminated door handles! That classed up the interior even more!
My therapy. Watching you clean and restore is extremely satisfying.
The detail work this guy does is ridiculous. So much care and love for a very specific type of car. Bravo.
E39 videos are BY FAR the most satisfying videos on this channel.
It does not get any better than an E39 interior. Truly the best sedan design of all time.
That Bluetooth adapter is brilliant
The interior is looking amazing. All fresh and clean. Great job once again Sreten!
How did I watch this almost 1 hour long episode in what feels like 20 minutes? you did it again! Unbelievable how the car looks now, makes me want to have an E39 Touring myself again
These days car channels just all do the same stuff: buying cars and beating on them rinse and repeat. However this channel is just top tier with premium content and attention to detail💪 bravo Sreten
Really nice! The cherry on the cake would be E38 interior door handles with amber lightning 🧡
I love watching people that are absolute experts in their chosen profession. It even makes me a bit emotional. Great vid!
Perfect and thanks for NOT re-using the wooden trim 🙂
e39 and e46 have eternal design, will look beautiful even in 1000 years
Love it when you use that carbon fiber, especially to clean seatbelts. Amazing work Sir, the amount of time and effort is insane..
Thank you so much for this episode. It was pure perfection and a pleasure to watch 🤩
Another M539 roadtrip!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I blame this guy for my latest buy, a neglected e60 530i, I'm pulling my hair off my head time to time, yet loving every second... Didn't realize how an expensive hobby this could be 😱😱
The interior trim color matching the exterior is a nice touch!
Am I the only one who was pleasantly shocked at the Lederzentrum? A product that kills squeaks and soft touch rejuvenation?
Thanks Sreten, a million subs over!
Nice video in such short period u make this car wonderful !
Sometimes those 'tours' are complete just for promotion or money for the channel with generic questions which were prepared beforehand. But this is just a showcase of genuine people trying to provide the best products for the best results. Awesome to see the products and the tour with history, job well done.
Good choice on the shadowline trim, always looked sharp on the e39
Wow the guys from colourlock seem super nice! Props to them for the amazing job they do
You know, I'm not a fan of BMW's, but I gotta admit: the interior of these early 2000 models is incredible, and you sir, made an amazing job! It was a joy watch you bring it to perfection. Well done!
My God that interior company restoration is SO german! Absolutely perfect!
Fantastic work, brilliant detail and dedication. A treasure to witness!
I use the Elephant leather protector on my Rover leather seats and it’s wonderful! This was a lovely job🤩
What a transformation!
I discovered this channel yesterday, when you brought home the Alpina from Finland. I love these E39 wagons and have been binging this series today.
There's just something about early 2000s luxury cars, like the 5-series when in good condition it rides good, feels good and looks good. Timeless!
Greetings from Norway.
It’s nice to see this cars getting ready for two more decades !
The only thing that caught my eyes in the final interior recap is the temperature of your inside lamps. With such a blueish interior, the yellow bulbs really sticks out. It’s hard to find the correct temperature for this but I believe that a 5000ºkelvin (or a bit higher) will correct this. Finding the right bulb is yet another problem. If you have adjustable filming lights, you can try to match the correct temperature for your interior.
But that is just my opinion and I’m just nitpicking, it’s overall, the best looking E39 touring I ever saw on this platform, congrats Sreten !
great video as always. thanks for sharing. 1 possible upgrade might be a speaker mesh for the "oem plus" sub? it looks like it might be muffled a lot by the cover that goes over it.
Yes! Need to do that as the sub is hitting the cover :)
this E39 is going full Ship of Theseus mode. So far the entire suspension, trunk area, speakers, trim, seats, have all been changed. I love seeing this E39 get the love it deserves!
Felix is the best wing man in your projects!
Wow amazing interior, much nicer than my F11 with regular seats, sensatec upholstery and fake black piano trim. Why did you not install sound deadening inside the doors? Most car audio freaks recommend such a thing. Congrats!!
In the previous episode, Sreten disclosed he's not much of an audiophile but likes some good sound output. I think he listens more to the car noises, Mutzi and professionals
Not sure how many times I have said it, this is my favorite youtube channel ever
This is the most OCD of all Project Car Channels and i mean that in the best way possible! Props to you for really appreciating this gen of BMW and treating them so much better than I ever could be bothered to
In a world of huge corporations giving less and less of a shit about product quality, makes me so happy to see these artisans working their craft with pride!
OMG...amazing company. I had NO idea this company existed!!!
Very professional company and knowledge of their products.....Nice work!!!
Thank you, Evertime i watch it confirms the list of small things that bring an older car back to life.
The reason you get tired of a car is the tactile the feel is sloppy and it doesn't take much money or time to bring to life again.😊
Crazy I’ve used colourlock nice to see were it’s made. Great product!
You make me want to quit my job and PROPERLY fix BMWs, huge props to you
That was an incredible job, These days barely see somebody caring about E39 this way, thanks Sreten for motivating people.
This company is really a prime example for being best of the best. Really interesting so see pure craftmanship in action!
This channel should have 435M subscribers.
What makes these videos so good is the host of the channel is a thoroughly engaging and good person. Bravo!
Завидую, такому автомобилю и владельцу, за такое идеальное состояние, респект тебе
Thank you again Sreten, unusual episode but a great one !
Sreten, I said it before, you need to become the Slinger of BMWs! Your attention to detail is truly next level! And people would pay to have their BMW become an M539 Restorations BMW! I know I would! Cheers!
This car is so sick, surrounding yourself with top notch craftsmen is only going to take all your future builds to another level.
Colourlock is the king of leather👍🏻👍🏻 their products are honestly fantastic
When he says restoration, he doesn't miss a thing. Interior looks awesome..........😎✌️
Really love that you are paying these small businesses for their work!
No one does restorations like you man. This looks amazing 🤩
Thank u Streten for scouting best of the best local shops and introduce them to us
The interior is stunning. I have a 2011 BMW E90 335i I restored with the same gray interior color. I love the “loading ramp” tailgate. I didn’t even know that was an option. What a great idea.
It’s also incredible how you find these people who are masters of their trade. It’s so difficult to find good work mind you these guys levels of it
53-min video that felt like a blink of an eye...superb video as always!
Thanks for bringing us along this amazing journey Sreten ✌️
