I bought a 2003 E39 540i m-sport sedan last year and have been working on it a lot. I really appreciate this series; you show repairs in detail that I can't find elsewhere on the internet. I also appreciate how thorough you are and how you like to keep it mostly original instead of making distasteful modifications. Thank you Sreten!
When I was a kid, I used to think that the top gear guys had the best job in the world… now at 35 years old, I would LOVE to do everyday what you do Sreten. Keep the amazing work going. Great episode on a great car.
Are you sure? There is a lot of what you don‘t see. Making research, repeating takes, because the camera failed, editing videos and don‘t forget, learn how to edit videos. And after all my understanding is, he still has a main job. Be careful what you ask for. I think, this guy doesn‘t sleep much.
I'm not a mechanic, I work in the charity sector, and I can't even drive, but these videos and your attitude to restoration are a joy. I really appreciate the time, detail and humour permeating all you do.
This has to be my favourite episode so far because mostly everything you restored is what i need to do to my one and it is incredibly hard to find how to properly do it on the internet
Man, you can literally see how some of these BMW parts were good quality made, did you see those door cards how firm they were ? Another quality episode from Streten and Mitzi !
This has quickly become one of my favorite YT channels. You do great work, and the fact that you provide so much advice with patience and humor truly inspires your audience to overcome their fear, grab a ratchet, and get to work on servicing their car. Much thanks, keep up the great work, and best wishes from Brooklyn NY!
I love that Sreten will do extended footage of driving and puts us in first person. Too many youtube channels fix a car, drive it for 20 seconds on film then call it a day and move to the next project. Well done Sreten!
Now that's a satisfying ending. Can't wait to see how the Mutzi approved interior and the polished exterior will look like, it's going to be beautiful!
1hr 22 minutes Streten changing the game lately basically a feature film every couple of weeks absolutely blown away by the quality, the detail and the level of your workmanship 🙌
You are such a reference Sreten. I saw your interview at BMW Classics channel and you look stunning, plus I listened to the podcast from them and I loved your journey till today! Full description of each step, and I remember the episode where you told the audience that you quit your job! That was meaningful!!! Keep your north buddy!!
Those model years rank as some of the best looking BMWs made, elegant but understated, plus they communicated a feeling of solid construction. The new ones look like cartoon caricatures. I don't know what possessed BMW to adopt the current styling. Good work and enjoy the fruits of labors.
I'm attempting to cross the Irish Sea from Ireland on a ferry. It's gone 2am, and I'm sat here swaying, watching an hr and a half of Sreten tinkering on an E39. I have no idea when we'll eventually dock, I'm passed caring now tbh, but thanks Sreten, brilliant content as per! 😎👍🏻😴
I watch your content to learn. I didn't think tutorials on how to fix old bimmers can be entertaining too. Your commentary and side remarks really elevate your videos. Keep them coming.
The E39 with the M54B30 is such a balanced combination. I miss my 01 sedan and this video series makes me miss her that much more! Good job rejuvenating a classic brother.
That instrument cluster looks great! I think the gauge rings level it up! Props for having the patience to refurb those electronic parts. It really is satisfying when it comes back to life and is working properly after all your efforts.
In many ways this chanel is in the big league with Harry's Garage and Tyrell's Classic Shop and Sreten is one man operation while they're not. This particular video really exposed this man's passion for old BMW's and very few people compare IMO.
I absolutely LOVE how Sreten will attempt to fix/repair anything, even something like the folding mirrors which are not meant to be serviced. HE FINDS A WAY!
Thank you, that was great fun. Always learning with you. When watchmakers remove hands they often place a ziplock bag over the top and use a pair of curved levers: the pair of levers keeps the forces balanced and the two layers of the ziplock bag slip over each other without marring the surface.
I can highly recommend Eton speakers for the E39! You won't get spine-shattering sub-bass from it but together with a small amp pretty decent sound! And it all looks original!
It's so calming to watch your content, so blissfully satisfying, thank you for putting the immense amount of hard work behind the scenes, the certain hours of frustration and likely sleepless nights. This content is pure gold!
I have a 2001 E39 Touring and started watching your channel because it had heaps of great info and tips about BMWs. I'm so glad you now have the same thing as me and you enjoy it so much! Thanks to you and 50sKid I have done most of the things you've done to Project Rottweil, however next for me is full suspension overhaul. Seeing you do it first has been great, lots of little tips and info to get the job done. Appreciate the info on the B6s too. I can't wait to see how the supercharger goes! Cheers from Tasmania, Australia.
This channel has inspired me to start working on my car. I have a mk6 gti (insert memes here) but over the weekend i changed the oil did the filters and did spark plugs and coil pack upgrade. Gotta start small but was so satisfying doing it myself and not screwing up!
Amazing attention to detail, as always. This is the gold standard when sorting out all the little issues that need to be done right when recommissioning any older car. When I do these sorts of projects on my own E90, I try to keep up to Sreten's standards!
I love watching you bring back neglect BMWs and the passion you have for them, and you are correct in saying that "if you see any old car, fix it up!". About 3 years ago, I picked up a 1992 Acura Legend LS Sedan, or in Europe, it would be a Honda Legend with less than 55,000 original miles on it. It is a Geneva Green Pearl (Dark Green) with an Ivory leather interior and not one single crack in the seats! I wish I could post a picture of her, but youtube will not allow me to. 😞 My family and I enjoy taking her on day trips and back curve roads.😊 Keep up the good work, and I look forward to your next video. 🤗
What a great car! Watched the whole video and didn't even realize it was an hour and a half long. I can't wait to see the end result after the paint is all taken care of.
Nice to see you working again 🙃 I bought myself a 540i e39 8 days ago. Since I'm on vacation it has to wait, but I can't wait to start wrenching on it and get it trough the tüv inspection 😊

The one and only channel on YT who's videos over 1h I even consider watching. My gosh Sreten, the work you do is beyond impressive. These cars deserve the best treatment. Hoping to own one one day! Your videos will be of utmost use when restoring it. Can't thank you enough for making us, your subscribers, dream of one day experiencing that feeling you had in that driver's seat on the Autobahn!

Was driving fine before and now it's driving even better!).
This video is the best one yet. I need to pretty much do everything Sreten did on this wagon that I need to do on my 2003 M5!!! And that cassette storage device in the console just blew me away! Never knew that was on option!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I have a 530i e39 2002 m pack for 5 years , its a wonderful car that I don’t want to sell, I wanna drive it every day, and it looks brilliant. Thank you for such a beautiful video , totally appreciate it 👍👍👍🫡
That old school grey car Sreten called an "Old Jag" at @1:20:07 is not an old jag, it's an old Mitsuoka Viewt from around 1996. Mitsuoka is a small old Japanese car company that are known for making unconventional special looking cars that are influenced by old school retro British styled cars :)
this makes miss mine every time, such nostalgia watching you do repair the things I had to do on mine, I had to drill through my mirror bolts lol, they were completely corroded. @@Robert.Lehmann I have one, but would love to make a living out of it.
