Hahaha. You make me laugh man. Great vids. I need to ask, have you any solutions for using the 16 tunings mode whilst connected to a laptop via midi sync. I was gutted the other day to discover that whilst sync'd the root note is always triggered which rendered the arpeggiator pretty much useless whilst using the Tempest in this set-up. The only work around I have managed is to set-up the same instrument on multiple pads then edit the root note of each pad but this is pretty limiting given the extensive laborious work required should you want to edit the sound [across each of the pads] of your 'instrument'. My only other solution now completely disconnect the Tempest from the USB in order to use the tempests 16 tunings mode in a project which isn't ideal as I use Ableton as my sequencer. Any other ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks man. Steve
I'm not sure if I follow. Blame it on my english. And it's been a while since I tested these things. But I kinda do remember I had some problems with arpeggiator whilst connected to a laptop via midi sync. You might be correct. I haven't really needed to use it that way. My normal workflow is to make everything on the tempest, and only sync it when I'm recording each instrument part to different tracks on Logic Pro X, making the Tempest a slave.
i still have no clue about the "assign"voice in the arpeggiator (16 tunings mode), it just means "off" or it's to compose more complex arpeggio patterns?
Andrea Tempestini I’m not sure if I’m reading your question correctly. But in 16 tunings mode, you can use the roll function to play the notes up and down in tuning. But not If you set the roll mode to “retrig””. If you assign a sound to a voice, it can only play monophonic arps..
Andrea Tempestini Arps in 16 tunings mode gives you the possibility of tuning patterns. 16 levels mode gives you level patterns. 16 sounds mode gives you the possibility of creating rhythm patterns with different sounds...
@@TundrahSounds first of all thanks for the reply :) i was talking about arpeggiator (in 16 tuning mode) modes, there's "retrig", "up", "down", "updown", "random" and then the last voice of the submenu says "assign", in my case, if i select that voice just work as the "up" mode...but i was thinking that maybe it would allow a more in-depth personalization of the pattern
“Assign”, means that it will play the pattern in the same order as you put your fingers to the pads. And it will loop that pattern without breaks. Sorry for being slow, lol.
Hehe.

I had never used the arpeggiator in 16 levels mode. I dig it! Thanks for the new trick.
You Tempest is always so clean and shiny. I love that
Awesome. Super helpful.

har en norsk kanal også. Den blir nok mer tilpasset et bredt norskt publikum.

Fenris @ the Wolfs Lair mange takk! Yeah, jeg bør legge til det. Var for lat da jeg la ut. Kan «pinnes» øverst.
