This was an enjoyable break in my day, thank you. Im a thousand years old and been playing bass for around 900 years. Id love one to own that bass! They can bury me with it! Guaranteed SOMEONE will come along and dig us both up! And go jam🎉
I love your videos. I hate when people demo 5 string basses and NEVER use the string to demonstrate it’s sound. You cover EVERYTHING! THANK YOU!!!
Thanks, Dex! I try to use riffs that will give a decent idea of how the bass sounds across the whole spectrum. Glad you find it useful.
The Mocha Burst is beautiful, as is the Texas Tea. I would go with the Mocha Burst between the two. I have a tobacco burst 5 string Fender Jazz Elite I bought new in 2018 and love it.
I'm traveling to US next month to get mine, I' pretty excited
Neck and string adjustments help to reduce buzzing. I'm done with 10" for a 5 string. Have a 12" Eden cab and 300w head for practice. 2×12" 800w GK combo amp for gigs. 💪
YIKES! Lock and Load!! Awesome rig. I tip my hat 😎
I turned that one down because of the way it looks and went with the Texas tea color, not I see the ad photos don’t do it justice.
Also another Great Review
Very cool bass 😎🎶🎸👌
Thanks for the review. Great Bass. But then, I am a Fender Guy.
Right on!
Cool🎸👌
I recently purchased the fender jazz bass dark knight. But now I want this one. Hopefully soon for my birthday. 😮😑 any recommendations on this bass ??? Help !!!!
I have the same one! Put some Ernie Ball cobalt strings on it! The best!
Just to clarify The strings are GHS round core Boomers not fender stock strings.
Thanks for the update, Steve.
Do you have to take off pick guard to adjust truss rod?
No, there is a cutaway to put the wrench in.
Is this really worth the money compared at Sire V7 vintage Swamp ash 5 strings?
I have not had a chance to check out that Sire yet, but from my experience with the ones that I have been able to play, I would say for most people, no, it’s not worth the extra money. If you have to have a US made Fender, then this is the one. If you just want a high quality bass, I would think the Sire is the way to go.
I have played the new Sire V7 2nd Gen it is an excellent Bass for the money, I have the Mocha burst Fender Ultra 5 he's playing I spent the extra because I own both the 2nd Gen Sire P7 and 2nd Gen M7 and I have been wanting a Fender Ultra 5 so I finally got it, Its an Excellent Bass flawless, great tone,I love it!
Yes it is (for me). I have both of them, but to me the Fender is a better bass. However, if my budget couldn’t allow for the Fender, I would be happy with the V7. I
Im torn between this bass and a stingray special 5h
I have not played both basses back to back, but I do currently own a Stingray Special 5H and I consider it to be one of the best basses I have ever played. Make of that what you will.
@@KPJohnson I saw you also played a bongo bass. How's that in comparison to the stingray?
A to wide lens.Look to the curved bad background. Overdistortion B string.
At $2,1000 plus tax, that had better be a bitchen guitar
