There was a point in my life when I thought I would never be able to see this band live because I'm far from Texas. But they did it!! They made their way to Ohio and it was one hell of a show.
I think it’s kind of amazing how documented lyrics for music are significantly worse now than they were in the late 90s. Apple Music, metrolyrics, azlyrics... search for the lyrics to this song, and you’ll wonder if the person who transcribed the lyrics was actually listening to the song. What’s worse, nobody is an authority to say, “Wtf were you listening to to hear the words you think were sung?”
Demographic studies, have identified the target audience for this music as being lucrative, and have sold advertising space to corporations who have targeted the demographic. Managers are handling the aesthetic to deliver what their demographic desires. Appropriate known music conventions have been identified and followed to ensure maximum financial value.

+devon regan It's a theremin! Just saw them play in Austin a couple days ago and she lunged it out into the crowd so everyone could reach up and play some screeching jams. It was awesome!
They have a cool idea, but why do they try to look so placid? Like they're not having fun/enjoying the music... Go watch the mothership connection if you need a refresh on how to funk
The ending is weird too... You destroyed your instruments? There's so many kids that would die for just one of those and you treat em like trash. I know The Who did it, but that's cause it was new! The theremin is cool here, but everything else needs funk!
