As you know I respect anyone who had served, coming from a military family household I understand the tradition,culture and values serving your country has. Please watch and give me your thoughts.

@@jacket5456 doing whatever I want is just the opposite of joining the army. In the army, one has to take orders and execute them accordingly, not doing what they want. Secondly, the way it was animated, real life in the army is very harsh and works under extream pressure. The ad is portraying a life that got nothing to do with the army or shouldering responsibilities. It's just the opposite.

I am a U.S Army Veteran and I am proud to say I used to served in the U.S Army but this pathetic disgusting U.S military ad make me sick in my stomach and ashamed to say this is the Army I was in.

As a veteran, I found the new army ads very soft, slow, passive and uninspiring. :(
China and Russia have massive military and they are very well trained as well as extremely organized.

That's because it's not a recruiting add, it's a statement: "We are better than everyone because we are woke!". This shows that the priority isn't the Army's mission, it's to keep the loud minorities happy and show how tolerant they are. A branch that puts it's political standing and image over it's mission is not worth joining. Their priorities aren't in the right place.
I thought China had the best recruitment video between these 3. Russia's video was a very close second to China's though! I just want to send a thank you out to everyone that has served! I regret not joining the military after graduating from high school.
Russia's add was very short. Even thought I didn't understand what the guy said I'm assuming that it was straight and to the point.

What is my Dad a war criminal for helping make a Navy ship work? I don't think so. You need to be more clear when you talk about things. Just joining the Army doesn't make you a war criminal. As an American seeing that motivated and inspired me to join the Russian army.
The Chinese video puts the emphasis on technique. Technique, firepower, you can be a part of it all. Russian is more about determination, personal challenge, the search for adventure. The American... Well, that would hardly fool anyone, not even that my attitude is militaristic, and I served in the army in Hungary for years.
As an American I used to watch the army ad video, it was one of the best motivational video in youtube.
Now it makes me wanna join either the China or Russian ad. The new army ad made me skip the whole video because of pure boredom.

No one was ever going to like this AD if it wasn't Special Forces repelling out of a helicopter and hopping onto a turret on the back of a truck. But, to say "Who cares?" is idiotic. @@jacket5456 I’ll be honest with you, there’s way better ways to touch on that issue. For example: I’ve actually found plenty of videos on Todays Military UA-cam channel that touch on jobs that are non-combatant. Me, I’m just an action type of person so I can be found on the side of combat/war/special forces type shit. But I’m also into law, law enforcement, cyber, (you get what I’m trying to say.) There’s a big break down between a lot of different people. A lot of people I know want combatant jobs, some don’t even want to be in combat. And one thing that I’ve been saying since high school (Graduated in 2021) was that “There’s plenty of jobs in the military that people don’t even know about that do not involve combat, I just wished many people knew.” But like I said, Today’s Military is a pretty good channel where you can find some REAL good military ad’s. Watch Cyberwarrior first!

You know how rare hand to hand combat is in modern conflict? Even infantry units don't have much training in hand to hand combat because it rarely happens. Much important to have decent marksmanship and superior technology.

@@asura2877 the thing is though, 99.99% of the time, it does work. As technology becomes more advanced, the chance of hand-to-hand combat decreases. Only special forces and CQC units need to have a decent amount of hand-to-hand combat training.
@@uwotm8 Hand to hand is a lot more common than you would think. Every mobilized combat unit needs that training at the Marine Corp standard minimum. We dont fight at standoff distances anymore, in Iraq there was thousands of hearts passed out from injuries in hand to hand with regular grunts.

I understand you might feel awkward about saying how you feel about something like this, BUT.. as a proud American this ad for the Army is horseshit and weak.. this whole "woke" trend from the FAR left just doesn't work when it comes to soldiers who have to fight real battles and while the woman who's story this is "Emma" should be proud of herself... It was a new type of conflict something we've never delt with before it took years to learn. point two with today military recruiting commercials they to appeal to a diffrejt audience now. Collage educated computer and tech savvy people people who have something going for them people that would normally never thing of joining the military. Also since many people don't wanna be in the military anymore they need more people so expanding who they appeal to is a good idea. Also going into Afghanistan was stupid we should have known what happened was going to happen. The moment we left the afghan army gave up all the equipment we gave then to defend themselves and ran from the taliban its a people who have no pride of nation just pride in religion. It was stupid of us to get involved for that long for a conflict we would never win. The US built its forces to fight other 1st world nations not 3rd world religus nuts.

The predominant opinion inside our military is that policies and standards have been watered down and that we are generally softer, weaker, and less ready.

Seriously, I don't care if you served in the Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Army or Air Force, you need to realize that you're both on the same team, and the goal is survival. Life is too short for so much dislike between Military Personnel who are literally doing everything in their power to help/assist their fellow soldiers. I just, never understood the animosity between Corps. I don't care what training you went through, for most people that training was near impossible. But those of you who did it, no matter the branch of military, you're brave as hell.
I think that american ad is adressed to women, to enrourage them to join army. That's why it looks so delicate.

I served in the U.S. Army in the 80"s and I can't believe what has happened to this country since, but I still Love the U.S.A. we have a lot of issues that need dealt with. that being said this video is not the only one out there and our military is very strong. I Love all people it's the politicians that create hate.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, although life for me is better now than it EVER was due to mental illness treatment. Yeah, issues need to be dealt with, just like every country in the history of Planet Earth. There are kinks to work out. What is most important is finding common ground between opposing parties and coming to an agreement. Agreements and normal life, I'll take that over Dead Soldiers and Bomb Craters any day of the week. I'm not saying we should minimize defense, our defense is the best in the world. It's a little overkill, and we're still spending way too much money on Fighter Jets but the US is doing pretty well right now. *Thank you for your service to our country sir, I hope you impacted the world in a positive way.*

The days of the 1950s are over. Wars today are fought with technology. Sorry to beak it to you, most of silicone valley is beta. They have tech Russian and China both want. US military will always have Tim Kennedy types (in fact this is just one ad) but the wars of tomorrow-it won’t be men getting out of bed yelling. It will be hacking (like India did to China) and on ground operation WITH a small AF element. The days of infantry attacks are gone.

US has 25,000 rangers and 8,500 Green berets... modern warfare isn’t about landing 250,000 jar heads. They need coders, programmers etc. the fighting is done by a VERY small core group of guys. Last I checked Groups have been fighting since 2014... when most of the US pulled out of the Middle East. Do you need to hold ground? Yes-that’s why they ramped up Rangers, group guys, seals. Do you need to assassinate... yea delta, seals, raiders. BUT again those guys can manage without 350,000 infantry soldiers. Instead of grunts the US is looking towards-On the ground real time programmers, hackers, machine operators.... silicone valley types. General Robert Spaulding went into GREAT detail about this

The Russian ad seems very motivational and inspiring. The Chinese ad is really exciting with high production value, like a Godzilla movie!

I don't have TV just this UA-cam so did not know anything like this was out there about the American Army well any American armed forces. I am an American Army Veteran and can tell you that this is the most disgusting representation of the US military that I have ever seen. It in no way represents the USA. Period. I am sickened.

Lol the american recruitment video was painful to watch. So many people I heard are getting out of the military because of this video. Trying so hard to be all PC and equality. Im not American but this was the worst i’ve ever seen.

Just a suggestion, search for videos on female soldiers, you will be surprised how many countries employ women as soldiers. China, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, all Western countries, but also Arab countries. The list is not exhaustive.
Being Born in Soviet Union before the collapse and a half Korean who lives currently in Philippines I'd rather join the Russians, since I live in Philippines you know why I didn't choose the PLA Ads, but if Philippines is in the choice then why not

Growing up I wanted to be an Air Force fighter pilot, but because of a heart condition I couldn't.
What does the American ad have to do with the military?
Sadly the US military is more interested in being a social experiment and meeting "diversity quotas" rather than a military fighting force who's sole purpose is the protection of our country.
We have lowered our standards to allow more recruits with histories of self-mutilation, bipolar disorder and other issues into the military.

The American one was bad. For most ladies joining up are not gay. Many American women have pride in their sisters who conquered Ranger training and some are actually combat officers now. Gay can be included in more effective one about all services
Yea the ad is weak and by them trying to get more women in the military will only make americas military weaker, people love saying women and men are the same when men are on average stronger and faster tha women, there is a reason why they had to lower the physical requirements

My dad and sister were in the army. The adverts here are usually leaflets and recruitment officers in High schools but there did used to be adverts on tv. I would love to feel I was fighting for my country but I don't think I could say goodbye to family members so often knowing I may never come back
I did once, it was really hard , but I made it back home. I would do it all over again, too.
The USA has and always will have a strong Army, The one thing that people don’t Understand is that the USA hasn’t been invaded or fought a war on its soil since the Civil War, and Last invaded in 1812 by the English and failed.. China Nor Russia has the Navy or Air Force to try a invasion so far away and China especially has a Crappy Navy and Air Force with No Gen 6 Fighters, Now the Russians have a strong Army but no logistics to move it... Same as China.. Now the USA can and Has and Will.. China has literally lost every war it was involved in ... JS🤷🏻♂️

As family who have served and sacrificed and I’m talking from world war one World War II and the Korean War Iraq Afghanistan Vietnam have lost numerous family members throughout those wars I find this very soft very disrespectful to all of the veterans who have sacrificed the ultimate and when I see what other countries are doing we need to have a strong military we need to have a strong message it’s not about feelings when you join it’s about The willingness to defend and protect your country we don’t need your whole family history what we need is strong people who is willing to stand up and that means sometimes you’re going to be separated from your family for 18 months at a time Yep I know the military is changed it now to where it’s like nine months but at one time it was a very very long time before you saw your family members many of them sacrifice their lives their limbs and this is the new way for the military I find it sad and I find it disrespectful but thank you to all of our veterans to have service so proudly and given the ultimate sacrifice 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸

I joined the Army a few days after HS Graduation. I had a lot of BS to get away from. Hopefully I'll get to a Sniper crew. Someone said that the President was talking about S.E. Asia or Vietnam ?

As an American, more than half the country is upset about this Ad and ones like it. It pretty much alienates most of the people who would have joined the Military. This ad drives people away. We are in a cultural conflict right now over things like this. Inclusivity doesn't come at the expense of getting the job done and being competitive. We are Hoping Trump can make things right with the situation in Europe and Asia.

The US army isnt weak but rather this ad is a disgrace to them, I personally dont like America due to their certain agendas like the LGBT and I am not an American.
This is honestly embarrassing for them.
The point of this comparison is to show how weak the US military is . Do you think that women would fight that Russian man ? Its thr militaty , not a movie .
I will have to admit, the American version is much weaker and trust me when I say that they don’t play that animated ad very much here. I think they were trying to go for a different approach but they instead turned it into a Disney short about a girl’s journey to joining the military. It’s basically liberal propaganda that is a poor representation of the actual military. Yes it has gotten slightly softer due to the politics that got put into our military thanks to our weak leaders but the military is still very flexible and mission focused.
That’s aside, we already know conflict is coming, just a matter of when. We don’t want war, but it’s inevitable. And if we don’t go to war with other countries, we will be fighting a civil war in our own.
