Brother you deserve more and more subscriber . Before I made a gsm based industrial project where I used jumper wires but no problem occured , but now I am doing another project but at this time , because of jumper wire it does not respond . After wasting lot of time in internet , this disgusting problem is not solved , they use capacitor , resistor all fucking electronics devices , but my problem was not solved . After removing jumper wire , it is working properly. Thanks a lot .
Dude you are a life saver it worked like magic i've been working on that module for about 12 hours and i wached all the youtube videos and read all the articles about sim800L and the documentations there is no body mentioned about the connections before, except you. Bro thank you soo much for this ❤❤❤❤
Excellent solution, it worked . I had used Dupont wires and was struggling for nearly 4 hours , tried to extend the antenna of SIM800L and did lot of research but it could not connect to the network , Just could not believe it was such a simple solution you discovered !! , I used some good and short wires ( which I retrieved from my dead computer SMPS .. it has very good wires ..) and voila ...it worked... hats off to you dude ..keep it up
It's the first time in my life I write a comment, but man... you deserved that. The solution is pretty obvious and in the end I would probably get it, however I saved at least two hours because of you and I'm very thankful for that ;)
Thanks for sharing. I discovered the same with SIM800C and SIM800L. The Dupont cables can not supply enough current when the module is transmitting. I also put a 1000 micro Farad +100 nF across the + and - terminals close to the chip for better stability. There is also a problem with the proto breadboard to supply current. I have designed Digital Circuits since 1974 so I'm a little paranoid when it comes to decoupling. They don't teach this in schools and universities anymore.
Hi Brother, this is the favour done to me by you. Thanks a lot. I was struggling to get my sim registered to the network. But was not happening. But you break it. Super super
Very inspired from your comment.. I am also going to give videos on trading techniques to earn money sitting at home.. Please do like share and subscribe
My pleasure to help you, please do like share n subscribe.. Please share with ur friends who are also interested in trading.. I will soon bring profitable n easy concepts for all ,🤑🙂
At first i thought this was total bs! But i was so desperate still tried and it works! Man u are a genius! Never thought cables would not be able to handle 2A of current..
Thanks Deepesh, some times changing a small DOP can save a huge db in oracle scheduler in production from crashing. Depth is to keep inside, simplicity is to exhibit.
OH Man you saved my sanity! Thank you do much i was about to leave my project And come back after mabye a week , but your solution helped me immadiately. Huge thanks!!!
You are genius bro it worked and behaved as you shown I have seen many videos and visited may websites but no one told this problem I usually dont like videos even I watch it many times but this saved my whole day effort thanks a lot!
My pleasure, that you got some help from video..please do like share and subscribe..since I am working in IT I cannot time to my loved viewers like you..but soon I am trying to restructure the youtube channel and bring more lovable videos for you all..please do like share and subscribe 🙏
Bro i throught it would be easy to.deal with this module. But after buying o faced this major big probelm and k was really anoyed to it Thanks a lot for helping me out
Same problem i faced during my project, actually the problem is not due to that birk connector wire gauge/thickness, the problem is due to the loose connections. We can overcome this problem by soldering the joints with the same (birk connector) wire with the reccomended battery/power suply easily. Better to use a 1000 micro Farad 16V, Capacitor connected across Vcc and Ground of sim800L for the requirement of burst current supply for short period of time.
for those of u who still are not getting solution -- use another lipo in parallel (my single 18650 batt. wasnt able to do the the trick) huge thanks to the delta NeutRAL YTB channel.subscribed😍
Lot of thanks for bringing me out of misery! I was trying to power the module from an arduino 5v pin. After watching the video I realized that it can't drive 2A. I will start getting a more capable power source now
I had the same problem when trying to connect my MCU to my car's OBD2 port. I was using dupont wires to do so and was receiving no response. I worked on it for nearly two months until I decided to use bigger wires and it worked! Since then I use bigger cables for every connection and never use dupont wires anymore
I would have liked to see you repeat this with the lipo charging circuit as if we are using it for alarm etc it is not practical to keep taking away the battery to recharge it
I have one sim800l blinking but inserted sim remains out of network. Can you help me to decide whether board damage or any other problem. It was working ok since Oct 2021.
quick question in the code do u put the number of the sim thats in the sim800L or the one in the phone you're calling ? and also i have a sim800L Z143N is it the same wiring plz
My problem is it powers up and after 5 seconds it registered to network and led blink every 3 sec But it doesn't respond to AT commands at all , did you face this problem before ?
Yeah! Awesome Bro but you didn't describe the sim card you are using 4g-3g- or 2g? Cos some guys guided that this SIM 800L does support only 4g? Is it?
at first i was like.. maaann, he is doing the same thing!! just powering it up.. wft is the difference!! But ive tryed my self to move my wires with the supply voltage af close to the sim800L board pins as possible at it helped.. Such a wierd issue that dosnt make any sence, But i guess the 2 A burst load, is not a myth, and kills the powersupply.. Thanks for the video..
In the first attempt, you just needed not to use the common jumper wires. You needed to replace jumper wires from lipo battery to charger and from charger to the module.
You are using sim800L wich as already 470uf cap install. Those who have not 470uf inn their sim module, they have to install the cap and run for properly work
thanks dude, that was tricky. but unfortunately mine still showing same...my sim works in mobile. AT+COPS shows networks, AT+CPIN also ok...ive connected my module directly to lipo not even the jumpers u showed in last part
@@thedeltaneutral8431 btw i see u didnt use any capacitor between vcc and gnd....ppl recommend it so that a busrt of current can be managed at network registration.............how come u survived without that?

Hi, my module showing short when i put power on the module...i have use laptop power supply and dc dc step down module to power up the sim800L module. Now im feeling helpless... Tnx in advance.
I have used lipo battery of 3.7v 2500mah and also I have tried with 3.7v 1000mah..I have followed the same method but I couldn't get the connection. pls do help me.
Your video has to be on top because it's the only solution i found after wasting hours on the Internet
I can't believe it, the problem's solved by a simple effort. But, it works. Thank's, bro. I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia.

fr i was trying longer wire so thinking it was network problem even in outside it didnt work but now he made it
Excellent solution, it worked . Thanks dear. My project was not working. The problem was quality of wire. Thanks again from Bangladesh 🥰
Thank you very much man after 2 hours it finally working
It's the first time in my life I write a comment, but man... you deserved that. The solution is pretty obvious and in the end I would probably get it, however I saved at least two hours because of you and I'm very thankful for that ;)
It works like a charm! I spent hours trying to solve it!! I never would have figure that out. I was about to dismiss it. Thanks a lot!!!!!!!
What a simple solution, thank you so much

Eureka moment for SIM800L folks! Thanks a lot man!
1 day wasted to make it work, fixed it in 1 minute. Thanks bro!
I comfirm that worked! the current on the wire between the regulator module and the SIMCOM module is the cause.

thank you very much it's work with me on sim800C, it's was a big problem. the problem is solved.
What is the resistance value u used?
my problem is ok now, really it take 2 amperes at the begining , good explanation , thank you very much

i think what you mean is change the fiber jumper (that mostly use in project) with just a single jumper. thank you it works
Yeah. Thanks
Wowww.. Amazing coz it's working. Thank you very much sir.
Brilliant, It worked !!! Thank you soo much bro..
Bro can i use 3.7v lithium rechargeable battery?
it works very well , thank you so much
My problem is it powers up and after 5 seconds it registered to network and led blink every 3 sec
But it doesn't respond to AT commands at all , did you face this problem before ?
you are the boss . thank you
Hello, I wanted to ask
If we use the sim800i module, can we use Bluetooth headset?
the problem is ur power supply , max current for such a lipo battery is about 1 amps , but module require at least 2 amps to get started
It works, thank you mister!
Thanks dada
Yeah! Awesome Bro but you didn't describe the sim card you are using 4g-3g- or 2g? Cos some guys guided that this SIM 800L does support only 4g? Is it?

My pleasure Sujit
Sir,can you please tell me where you purchased the sim card
In the first attempt, you just needed not to use the common jumper wires. You needed to replace jumper wires from lipo battery to charger and from charger to the module.
Yeah, may be sir
As the wire is a conductor why there is huge resistance
Can I use Lithium-Ion battery (3.7 V 3000 mAh) in place of Lithium-Polymer battery?
Not recommended

Thanks, replacing thin wires solves connection problem.
Feels good to hear, that your problem is solved, thank you for appreciation
big thank you :)
When you tried to connect directly to 1 cell lipo, both wires should be of thicker gauge. Nevertheless, thanks for highlighting this problem and confirming the solution : )
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Will it connect without antenna
Does this gsm module works on 4g sim card
thanx it worked best wishes

Same isaue of not connecting to network..
I am using 2G sim
Power supply of 12v and 2A ac-dc adapter.

Gsm800A Arduino Uno
Rx Tx
Tx Rx

It worked for me too. Thank you
Mine isnt having any indication nor any led glowing will try this method
Can i use li-ion battery instead of lipo
thank you . it's work
You are welcome 😊
Sir, if we send the message from sim800l to android phone, then that show does not happen, please reply me.
Hi, my module showing short when i put power on the module...i have use laptop power supply and dc dc step down module to power up the sim800L module. Now im feeling helpless... Tnx in advance.
huge respect sir🙏🙏
thanks a lot man!!! it helped me alot.
Happy to help you
wahhhh it worked. Thank you boy
my savior!
Thank you, it's works
Super concept bro
am trying the same procedures but using another battery 3.7 but not lithium polymer and it not work..😢
the problem is it's high current hunter give a good Wire and separate them. dont use sws normal
We cut 4 resistors what happened to the other 2?
what happen when sim800l light is not bliinking when it is connected by arduino and pc
