OctoSkunk Vs. MechaFerret | Moviehouse Film Studio Tycoon

- Moviehouse means we're back making movies on the channel. Cinematic masterpieces that win Oscars? Not really. How does a MechaFerret sound to you?
We're checking out Moviehouse and seeing if we can make a few bucks in the film industry, and mostly hoping this isn't another Film Maker Tycoon debacle. (Yeah, I'm still mad about that one)

Greed, for a lack of a better word, is good
Welcome to the big show! MOVIEHOUSE is the game film-fans have been waiting for. Ready the camera, unleash your creativity and pile up the profits! Grow your operation with your razor-sharp business sense and usher in a new era for filmmakers worldwide…or fail trying. After all, this business is like a box of chocolates-you never know what you’re gonna get.
What is this? A studio for ants?
Experience the decades - start with a small film crew in the 80s, develop your first short-film, and taste the sweet nectar of box office revenue. When your enterprise expands, you’ll create better movies, hire a larger crew, and, of course, need a bigger boat!
Drink their milkshake
Use your wits to outsmart the competition and leverage your intuition to spot the next hit-genre at the box office. Win prizes at events, take the biggest slice of the pie, and become the most successful studio Hollywood’s ever seen.
That’s a bingo
Make movies your way - pick from a dozen different genres and plot the perfect storyline. Make a spy flick, a romantic comedy, a bloody slasher, or something entirely different. It’s up to you to strike the perfect balance and make a true blockbuster, becoming the godfather of cinema.
Cinderella story. Outta nowhere.
Assemble the dream team - hire directors and writers, nurturing their creative talent and skills to ensure optimal creative output. A good crew can bring viewers to seats, while the director charts the movie’s course. Make unknown actors famous overnight, or put them on the sideline if they don’t live up to the hype. After all, you’re the boss now!
That threat at the beginning was epic.
I ain't messing around with these games anymore
I enjoyed this, a few LOL moments made it a fun watch. The game is ok (awkward), but as a vehicle for story telling it excels. We need to know what happens to the franchise! I'd like to see more. I don't care if Abbie is happy either.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was actually kinda fun. I like it.
It has its charm
hmm .. I can't tell if this game is good or bad - I hope you finally have the movie tycoon game you wish for.
It's not this one, but at least it's not as bad as the last one
This is good for maybe a mini-series but not really much to it. Worth the 10 bucks for sure but very shallow. Still had a good time with it and got my money's worth so I'm happy.
Same here.
Octoskunk...sounds more interesting than half the current Hollywood remakes! 😂
Truth.
I hope you continue with this, I got good laughs. If when you distribute you choose the option with the hand they pay you, the % means you get a percent of what the film makes. So 40k cash up front or a % of nothing because the movie tanked, take the money every time.
Ah yes, that would have been much smarter
I was gonna recommend this for you. Let's pretend I did and give me all the credit
All credit to you.
Enjoyed the video but this game isn’t for me.
It lacks a certain something
this seems like a mobile game with a port. Not sure how deep it is.
Not too deep
play a few more times at least, and TORGO!!!
If you know Torgo, you are on the right channel ;)
Uh oh! Dave is getting serious. This reminds me of the game where you had to make a TV show. Not bad, but is better than Film Tycoon.
Literally everything is better than Film Maker Tycoon
@@WeeHoursGames True!
There used to be a filmmaker tycoon SIM game done in like 2008 that was really good? Had kind of Sims 2 like graphics but really fun mechanics I'll try to remember the name of it maybe the game had a steam release so you could try it out.
Possibly you're thinking of the EA released "Movie Studio" - or something like that.
Just checked - boy, was I wrong. I'm thinking of "The Movies" developed by Lionhead and published by Activision in 2005~2006. EA, apparently, had nothing to do with it.
@@slickjack2618 AND ITS FREE
I think you're thinking of The Movies. There's no Steam version, but there is a free download.
Mini series?
We'll see
This wasn't horrible... but it wasn't as fast and funny as many of the games you play either. I'm okay with it.
Glad you enjoyed :)
Well that was worse then the other one (kinda liked film maker tycoon, but it was a little boring)
Nope. Film Maker Tycoon, worst ever. I will not be convinced otherwise
