so how long till the police start to scan number plates for u license so they can defect modified cars , knowing now you need a u license for the power upgrades done to the car . just a new way for the police to target modded cars for more revenue..
I believe it's an SA thing. Almost every week, my son would get piles of infringements from SA filling our mailbox in WA. One ticket for a spelling mistake ( no such place of departure)
At least a driver's defensive safety course for high powered cars should be essential. But then I think all new drivers should undertake a driver's defensive safety course. I would also support categorisations for towing over a certain size/weight(ie: caravans) and also for these American sized vehicles now hitting the roads.
Firstly it's a dunnydore & before you light me up I used to own a very low K dunnydore SS cop bait wagon but over being tugged for so may stupid reasons & as soon I pulled out the owners manual n showed them it use to be one of theirs they left me alone, it lasted 3 months & I was done, I have owned a Falcon BA II for the last 9yrs with zero problems & it's been my tow pig for 7yrs with due servicing been a mechanic 40+yrs... Long live the Barra INDESTRUCTIBLE!
lol Firstly, this video was not targeted at a "dunny dore" as you stated , yet about the U licence requirements . Second , no one cares if you sold your commodore for a shit box ford thing. Good luck to you . If the cops are targeting you, in any vehicle, then clearly you are being a dick in front of them or reports of you being a hoon . The old "police keep arresting me or targeting me when i break the law and do stupid things " comment . Ive had my HSV for 8 years and only ever owned commodores and never had an issue with police yet had police wind down their windows at time when sitting next to me at the lights and ask me about the car . Anyway , good luck to you for buying a ford , no one cares
I'm surprised that they're not hitting EV owners in the wallet because, being heavier, they do more damage to the roads. At least this would make more sense than a UHPV licence. They won't hit EVs just yet because they want people to buy them, but down the road my guess is they will.
I'm yet to see SAPOL wheelnout the roadside dyno in order to check if your vehicle is an "UHPV". EVEN THE GTSR W1 doesn't fall into the UHPV regulations....
Just like ALL defects. We think your car is too loud, so to make sure its ok, heres a defect and an appointment to go to a government "Tax Collecting" station to have it tested by people who know more about cars thatn the cops.
To get that u-licence we should be doing an advance driving course. Not an online questionnaire. Thats not going to make you a better driver. Definitely a money grab
Are they going to have a special licenses for EV's as well? Even compared to high end super cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini EV's have completely insane amounts of acceleration which are more comparable to high-end performance motorbikes which already do have more acceleration over high-end performance cars. Besides the insane amount of power electric cars have the also do weigh about twice as much as regular cars because of the extra weight from the heavy battery packs.
Mate, I have the same stance on the subject, but with how some people be, I like you understand, motorbike riders have similar as do truckies, just a new licence for an area that honestly should be done, I have always said "if you want to race or drive fast book a track day, the expense alone covers medical services and a road without the public"
and if that moron in the Huracan had been in Comadore, Falcon , Camry, etc nothing would have happened!! Tragic for the family of the young lady but no different to any other pedestrian killed by random tools that have more $$ than skills/sense. Would have been "Sorry for your loss"..... Purely a Govt spin job to appear to be doing something! If they where actually serious about changes, drivers of high Hp cars should have been required to do a practical driving course at a track with qualified instructors.....if a driver can afford a $500k car they can afford to do training...
If you drove into SA and didn’t have a licence driving a UHPV you can get a fine , if the sports mode is turned on and or if traction control is turned off yes
So with said licensing,do we get cheaper insurance?because having a specialised licence means you are professionally trained in the handling of high hp, similar to a defensive driving course giving an insurance discounts
@CurtisLSA my point exactly,it's just a money grab with absolutely no benefit for the driver/owner,all it does is create another revenue stream for our seriously corrupt government. Australia is headed for a civil war and it won't be pretty, not just from this but it's another thing to piss us off
Most of the Idiots I see doing stupid things in cars aren't driving cars that would fall into this category. Most enthusiasts take care of their cars and don't flog the living crap out of them. My opinion is, even though it'd probably bring more cash grab comments, that if they were serious about saving lives, assessments would be made by and licences signed off on by defensive driver course assessors.
It will have insurance implications and ensure people have some induction training before hopping into a ultra high powered vehicle. I don't know if it will be introduced in other parts of Australia. What happened to me in NSW when I purchased a VF SSV two years ago is the insurers asked if I had driven a high performance vehicle before. Their second question was how many years of experience did I have driving a high performance vehicle. I already owned a VE SS and they asked me how long I had owned it. My guess is if you are a South Australian licence holder driving one of these cars and have an accident without that licence upgrade, you will be up shit creek without a paddle. The insurers won't pay. You will be considered " at fault" by the other driver's insurer, and if you injure somebody, you will be fracked in court when they bring a lawsuit against you.
I’ll look into it but yeah posting on anti theft devices can work the wrong way as criminals can see this and work out for the next one what to look out for .
frankly I agree with the new licences when I was young a VB Commodore V8 5.0 SLE only had 114 kw now a standard Corolla makes more than that cars have become so much more powerful over the last 30 years
Tyres have become much better as well, the XR6 Turbo and Commodore SS came with 245mm tires and the higher end HSV's even wider while the a9x came with 205mm tires
So Good lad Johny does the right thing, gets UHP Licence, driving his Barra swapped Datto 120y - Cunstable Plodd then with his wealth of mechanical knowledge defects his vehicle because his eyes lit up as soon as saw the shiny UHP licence .....so much BS, such a police nanny state and country....rant rant rant, I don't even drive my VN BT1 anymore, it's like flies to honey and its stock 🤬
The original Australian Constitution does not require any licence to control any vehicle on any Australian public carriageway, or to have to register any vehicle or insure it or it's driver or passengers against anything. To add laws to this original Australian Constitution requires a referendum. A referendum cannot be run by a corporation, e.g., the Australian Government Corporation or it's State or Territory Corporations. A referendum also requires the signature of the Monarch of Great Britain and Ireland, etc., etc., to be applied to Australian Law. So as it currently stands in ACTUAL LAW in Australia, there are no authorities that can apply any laws, police any laws, or penalize anyone for non-compliance with corporate made up rules that are not law at all. There are no lawfully installed courts or judiciary in Australia, except Common Law Courts that are created by we, the people, and are very hard to find. Admiralty courts and judiciary are ancient Maritime courts and judiciaries that have NO JURISDICTION ON ANY LANDMASSES, including Australia.
Taking your GTS for example, plus Fords FGS GT, both these type of cars should NOT be allowed to be driven by anyone under the age of 21years, Under that, you are just asking for trouble. Like you Curtus, I'm in the middle also, but I still agree with these new laws coming into affect in SA in the middle of this year 2024. I've had my FULL licence for a lot longer than you've been alive, yes, I'm an OLD fart, but I've driven some high performance cars in my past. Also, I've driven over 1 to 2 millions ks over the years. I got my Bike licence at 17.8, with a fart box Susuki 100cc Ag bike, but held that for 5 mths then got onto a 1976 Kwaka 900, and that wasn't stoke either. Even the bike laws need to be tightened down also. Some of the 500cc bikes are quite able to do some crazy speeds. All the best to you buddy. Teddy.
This license is a joke when electric cars go that much faster in a straight line than a combustion engine but they don’t stop the too heavy and Pete platers can drive them. You need a special license to drive an electric car. Get it right you politicians.
They've been doing this kind of thing to sports shooters for decades, even more so in recent years, and my car club buddies chuckled about it, but looks like it's come full circle now. To bad everyone who enjoys nice toys doesn't pull together but just sells each other out.
Motorcycles are exempt from this new licence as are buses and trucks , yet a bus ran off the road in Brisbane CBD doing less that 40kms hour a few months ago and hit a girl who passed away yet they are safe apparently
A VF GTS is 231.7kw/t anyway so is below the set point of 276kw/t , so im assuming it really boils down to wether any performance mods have been made ..
paying for an online course is absurd, it costs them pennies. as for the $81, if you are rich enough to afford a vehicle like this I dont think you would give a toss about $81.
Agree, should be like motorcycles you need to work your way up and do practical exams. My father made me do the advanced driver training after I got my license and that was brilliant. Was mainly about braking in the days before ABS and it really reduced your stopping distance. But you can never legislate against stupidity and you can kill people driving a WIGO.
Why did you only say that this vehicle licence might be introduced in all other states? Why did you not include Territories as well? Or don't you know that we have Territories?
Never knew that at all . I thought Australia only had states . What are these territories you speak of ? Meanwhile … I’m just going back to Darwin , in the Northern Territory where I spent 10 years of my life , for a Christmas holiday this year .
Have you taken the course? If so what was in it that will make you a safer driver? In the video you stated you could attempt it as many times as you liked until you passed it, in a 12 month period. When I was a teenager you only got 3 attempts at your L plate then you had to start from scratch. We also had to do our practical test with a police officer, I was told by a friend that his kids just had to complete a few hours with a qualified instructor and then play a video game at the licensing department. Sounds like the standards are falling.
The licensing seems superfluous but probably comprises a legal contract which assigns liability for a collision if any of the course guidelines aren't strictly adhered, such as prohibition of using any form of "Sport mode" on public roads in a UHP vehicle. Like the way if you're speeding you cop default liability even if the other driver caused the crash, this will give liability for any crash under the range of conditions given as restrictions for UHPV drivers. Failure to hold a UHPV license is an offence by failing to agree to that contract. And more restrictions may be introduced later. But, like you where it comes to the classification of UHPV they're not being unreasonable, they're talking about more power to weight than a late model AMG C63/S or A45/S or modding your WRX STI for over 590bhp which is well past 2 bar of boost so this is some real track monster stuff. And yes there are "sleeper" roadcars like the HSV GTS LSA that nudge past the line, modded cars on high boost ratings and low roadworthiness, and of course some of the Supercars mainly because those are ultra-lightweight. But for the most part people can go around driving entry level Ferraris, BMW M series and seriously powerful modded roadcars in the 4-500hp range without being touched by the legislation. It's only people with a deep wallet or reckless disregard who fall outside it. The only idiots out there with deep wallets tend to be organised crime so that's okay too, the others at worst get speeding tickets in their Lambos but have never had a crash in their adult lives, they're not going to be affected by a default crash liability this legislation seems to kind of represent.
What a load of bs so a bogan with a mag mag cant kill a innocent person like a expensive fast or powerful car. This should be boycotted. It is ridiculous to just except such a poor excuse for a blatant money grab.
This will do nothing to stop the incident which bought on this new license. It will only effect those that were law abiding in the first place & increase revenue... again
If any 'pretend' authorities send you and demand that you pay a fine or demand that you attend their Admiralty court, you will be named in CAPITOL LETTERS, e.g., JOHN DOE, and that is only a birth name that they have registered as a corporation at your birth, signed into place without your authority and therefore invalid. Just send it back in it's original envelope stating 'Return To Sender, this is a corporate entity and it is not stationed at this address'. Then add....'You could try The District of Columbia, Washington DC/US' (Which is where the company is registered). And cross off any pretend government trademarks on the envelope. Do not comply with any of their unlawful demands, or that becomes compliance that they consider to be lawful submission. They will try once or twice to scare you into submission, and if you do not comply, they will stop. Do not employ lawyers or solicitors to do this as they are part of the pretend system. Your real name is John Doe, not JOHN DOE. JOHN DOE is always a corporation. It is not you. Do not become your 'strawman' representative for the corporation, as you would need to be at degree level of understanding law to be able to beat them in their version of a court. Just do not comply, and do not talk with them or they will get you to say things that they will use against you that you have no understanding of. Do not talk to police, and do not talk to any of their officials at any level. They are only deceptive. They are as their 'father, Satanic'.
It seems a wee bit pointless if there is no official practical test. All good that you can pass an online test ( as often as needed to pass ) It does nothing to make you a better driver when seated behind the wheel. If you can't handle the power .. you may still crash.
Tradies need U class licenses. Their current licenses allow the to drive up to 20Kmh faster than anyone else on the road, run red lights, park anywhere they like and road rage as much as they like, including changing lanes without indicating, even when other drivers are in the space they are moving into. U class licenses can't come soon enough.
It doesn't say anything about torque. I've been long saying the way we modify LS engines as wrong. It should be fatter crank, longer rods, before these other mods that shift the power upwards. Cams, intakes, these valvetrain mods are all BS. The price of mid range cranks, rods and pistons is nics. And they're still better then stock cast BS. Block doesn't need any grinding to fit 6.125" rods. Another way i'll put it before anyone trys to come at me - is most guys are driving diesel dailys around that rev to about 3.5k. If your LS only revs to 5.5k it's still much higher then the diesel... Bro - you could have had a more driveable LS with 518kw or less (276/1000x(1886kg) if you just went 416cc and left the stock cam and intake (some air mods might be good for lower end with roots blowers..?) which really only helps at 4000-7000rpm and be well over the speed limit in any gear at those rpms. Back in the days of 5Lers the things only reved to 4000rpm before they stopped doing a lot. Any stock LS goes close to 6000rpm. LSA stock cam is your friend. Makes good low end power. Pulls to 6k. Easy on valve train. To sum it up I'm guessing at 518km you could probably have 1000nm at the crank and be at about the limit with a bit less RPM..
Any factory cams are actually not good for producing optimum torque. They may be good for fuel efficiency, but certainly not torque. Factory cams have an extremely wide Lobe Centreline Angle. This actually results in losing pressure during compression from the intake valves closing too late. If you take a cam for the supercharged LSA, which has even wider LCA to help reduce cylinder pressure, and even shorter lift, it's just going to reduce torque. I'd say correcting cam specs is a good idea, but ideally, you first need to identify how much overlap you desire (this locates the torque peak and sets idle quality), then you need to calculate an LCA that sets the intake valve closing at the best point, then based on these two, calculate your resulting duration at last. See, widening LCA for idle quality and low end torque is wrong, because it delays the intake valve closing. See, if you have a too wide LCA, and you go for more duration to get more power, you won't gain optimum torque, but if you narrow your LCA, and increase duration a lesser amount, you will achieve higher torque while still achieving your power goals.
How does a online course make you a better driver for a high powered vehicle? I hold motorcycle, car and heavy combination truck licence and the motorcycle knowledge and experience has made me and my wife better drivers.
They should have it as you must have hold a open licence for 10 years by the time you had a licence for 10 years you should be more sensible and the same rules as truck driver's 0 on drugs or alcohol for driving a high power car
So all the people killed by normal cars don't count because the goverment can't make money off the owner's. I thought we used demerit points to punish bad driving now we are punishing good driver's for ownership of something rare.So disappointing.
I don't agree with this new law in SA. There needs to be some consultation with the public. Has this been done?. Will I need one when driving on GT7😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
A lot of ev's have quicker to 100 than supercars. Or what about a sandman ute which only had a tag on it but it was classed as sports model. This government is fucken dumb.
If you can afford a vehicle in this class ( I have a 730 hp R35 GTR ), then you can afford the cheap license . Stop crying. I’m not in SA but if I moved there it wouldn’t bother me at all . I do not understand how the government thinks this will stop people driving like dick heads and crashing these types of cars though 🙄 100% of the time it’s the drivers fault, a license won’t change a thing .
I use to be a driving instructor. How the hell is an online only course going to make you better at driving a high performance vehicle? Theory is one thing, but it's pretty useless without practical instruction and experience. Typical government .. a good idea, poorly thought out and implemented, and of course they charge you for the privilege. What about motorcycles? For example; the Honda CBR10000RR has around 215 hp at a weight of 443 pounds, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is 796 kilowatts per tonne. With some figures, accounting for different models etc, taking it up to around 900kW/t.
I think the SA Gov't needed to be seen to be doing something in regards to that terrible accident. Money grab? probably, way stiffer penalties for vehicular harm incidents should also be introduced.. deal to the woke Judges, smart Lawyers....
Absolute money grab, and the government is automatically compiling a list of people that they regard as hoons. Even if the lambo driver already had the UHPL who’s to say that anything would have happened differently. If my son is to get his UHPL who’s to know if it was him that actually completed the on line course and not me or Daniel Ricciardo ? It’s a money grab and a profiling list. No more.
Strange - this is from the actual licence website ( and shown in the video ) - if your vehicle is older than this, or has been "modified", you can calculate your vehicle’s power to weight ratio using the following formula: And again , a defect sticker will be given , and you would have to take it in to get it tested at the governments testing
You even agreeing with this ,justifies the grab money cameras and all the road safety lies .This should be completely argued with if you have a licences for 4 years it need not apply
Gee I wonder how many people have been killed in motor vehicles that don’t meet this criteria? Do we need a special UHPV (Underwhelming Horse Power Vehicle) license.
Before everyone gets hyper out of place, yes its a $81 instant cash grab. BUT PLEASE READ THE ACT . Now thats sinister look out. According to the website my 2 v10s twin turbo awds dont need the licence, however According to The ACT. I do .

if they fall under the gategory then yes they would need it but most EVs are over 2 tonnes due to the battery weight the SUVs are anyway
So a Tesla plaid, which i hate to admit, beats most v8s, also have to pay this?
i would say so but plaid is not street legal in Australia its been banned
Plaid version was not banned it's just not being sent to Australia due to Tesla not wanting to convert to right hand drive.
What if you're a NSW resident with NSW Plates and you drive into SA on a holiday? Any thoughts?
so how long till the police start to scan number plates for u license so they can defect modified cars , knowing now you need a u license for the power upgrades done to the car . just a new way for the police to target modded cars for more revenue..
How do the the guys trying to stop youth crime know how much kw or hp you have? Mobile dynos???? What a joke!
They would send you in like a exhaust test that would need to be tested within a time frame to get the defect sticker removed
I believe it's an SA thing. Almost every week, my son would get piles of infringements from SA filling our mailbox in WA. One ticket for a spelling mistake ( no such place of departure)
going over the top id say SA government has been known to take things to far
Long live the Barra INDESTRUCTIBLE!
lol
Firstly, this video was not targeted at a "dunny dore" as you stated , yet about the U licence requirements .
Im curious about EV emmissions, when they catch alight. Im thinking a burning tesla battery is more toxic than my 25 year old petrol 6 cyl ford.
How about my FGX XR6 Sprint? 325-370 kw
if it falls under this gategory then yes
You safe - if your FGX weighs 1.7ton (example) and you are producing up to 370kw - that is 217kw per ton - so its under the limit.
I'm yet to see SAPOL wheelnout the roadside dyno in order to check if your vehicle is an "UHPV".
EVEN THE GTSR W1 doesn't fall into the UHPV regulations....
They would slap a defect sticker on it and you'd have to take it into a dyno or workshop at the governments choosing , to get it tested
Yep they will just defect you exactly
Just like ALL defects. We think your car is too loud, so to make sure its ok, heres a defect and an appointment to go to a government "Tax Collecting" station to have it tested by people who know more about cars thatn the cops.
Excellent idea. Perhaps an extra 50% levy for Holden drivers given how many of them drive.
🤣
I’m in QLD but from SA too Curtis! I own a Maloo ute 🛻 too 🔥🔥
made the smart move also i see
thanks for the video man
no worries
To get that u-licence we should be doing an advance driving course. Not an online questionnaire. Thats not going to make you a better driver. Definitely a money grab
A true solution would be having to attend an advanced driver course for 1-2 days to learn car control in all conditions
What about all the electric cars that are just as quick or even quicker are they going to be listed to apply as well I hope so
Agreed
and if that moron in the Huracan had been in Comadore, Falcon , Camry, etc nothing would have happened!!
Good points
My question is - if you drive a UHPV into South Australia from another State where that licence is not required, would it be an offence?
If you drove into SA and didn’t have a licence driving a UHPV you can get a fine , if the sports mode is turned on and or if traction control is turned off yes
So with said licensing,do we get cheaper insurance?because having a specialised licence means you are professionally trained in the handling of high hp, similar to a defensive driving course giving an insurance discounts
nothing is cheaper in this world
@CurtisLSA my point exactly,it's just a money grab with absolutely no benefit for the driver/owner,all it does is create another revenue stream for our seriously corrupt government.
Australia is headed for a civil war and it won't be pretty, not just from this but it's another thing to piss us off
This NEW license will prevent idiots from having crashs for sure.
Yeah it’s crap
Most of the Idiots I see doing stupid things in cars aren't driving cars that would fall into this category. Most enthusiasts take care of their cars and don't flog the living crap out of them. My opinion is, even though it'd probably bring more cash grab comments, that if they were serious about saving lives, assessments would be made by and licences signed off on by defensive driver course assessors.
🥴
True yes
Spend 100k plus on a car but complain about a $50 license. Harden up peoples
Yeah, I'm all good. My best performer produces 52Kw/tonne, (or 16Kw/T fully laden) and it's turbocharged 🤣
You’re good to go lol
Can you do a video on protecting these HSV’s from theft.
I’ll look into it but yeah posting on anti theft devices can work the wrong way as criminals can see this and work out for the next one what to look out for .
With the theifts, you won't have it for long. Install a second horn somewhere discete and move your OBD port.
nice video mate proper rules
yes few vids out there saying people cant drive their cars anymore
frankly I agree with the new licences when I was young a VB Commodore V8 5.0 SLE only had 114 kw now a standard Corolla makes more than that cars have become so much more powerful over the last 30 years
Tyres have become much better as well, the XR6 Turbo and Commodore SS came with 245mm tires and the higher end HSV's even wider while the a9x came with 205mm tires
Haha nice
If you drive within the posted speed limit why do you need another license? Government scam
Teddy.
That explains why an influx of VF SV6 Commodores for sale on facebook and Carsales in the last few weeks.
Car Control? I started racing when I was 8 years old! do I need to sit my test? Im 69 years old.
Its only an online assessment. some how another form of tax comes to mind
like stamp duty on house. Another form of legal theft
This license is a joke when electric cars go that much faster in a straight line than a combustion engine but they don’t stop the too heavy and Pete platers can drive them. You need a special license to drive an electric car. Get it right you politicians.
I hope no other states do this!!!
They've been doing this kind of thing to sports shooters for decades, even more so in recent years, and my car club buddies chuckled about it, but looks like it's come full circle now. To bad everyone who enjoys nice toys doesn't pull together but just sells each other out.
One way to choke us so more people will buy EV vehicles
Corrrct
So if its only an online test how does it make a driver safer? Also what about motorbikes, even 250cc motorbikes are absolute rockets these days
MASSIVE MONEY GRAB THATS ALL!!!!
yes agreed
So my KW prime mover will be a UHPV classification. ?? 😳🥴🙃
paying for an online course is absurd, it costs them pennies. as for the $81, if you are rich enough to afford a vehicle like this I dont think you would give a toss about $81.
Yes agreed
Can I drive a v8 on my full licence in SA
@@kennethwilson925 on a full licence yes
@CurtisLSA will I still have to apply for a U class license ?
@@kennethwilson925 if it falls under the power to weight ration then yes you would

@@CurtisLSA Hope this Don't come to UK .i've a VXR8 HSV 6.2
It seems a wee bit pointless if there is no official practical test. All good that you can pass an online test ( as often as needed to pass ) It does nothing to make you a better driver when seated behind the wheel. If you can't handle the power .. you may still crash.
Tradies need U class licenses. Their current licenses allow the to drive up to 20Kmh faster than anyone else on the road, run red lights, park anywhere they like and road rage as much as they like, including changing lanes without indicating, even when other drivers are in the space they are moving into.
U class licenses can't come soon enough.

Thanks mate.
All part of the "you'll have nothing, eat zee bugs& be happy" plan.
It would be more beneficial to have a trailer licence a specially for caravans
All good points yes
See, if you have a too wide LCA, and you go for more duration to get more power, you won't gain optimum torque, but if you narrow your LCA, and increase duration a lesser amount, you will achieve higher torque while still achieving your power goals.
the driver didnt even get jail time after the crash
yeah i read that . Law courts are broken in Aust
We the people can get the law changed, if you get enough people signing a petition saying why! Try it!
More nanny state laws. More freedoms stepped on

How does a online course make you a better driver for a high powered vehicle?
I hold motorcycle, car and heavy combination truck licence and the motorcycle knowledge and experience has made me and my wife better drivers.
Why don't they have a lince to tow a caravan
They Should !
40min online course and you're good to go. What the hell..
They should have it as you must have hold a open licence for 10 years by the time you had a licence for 10 years you should be more sensible and the same rules as truck driver's 0 on drugs or alcohol for driving a high power car
Good point
$2 million dollar app someone has to pay it 🤣
So all the people killed by normal cars don't count because the goverment can't make money off the owner's.

That cost is ok.
admin fees are a rip off
A lot of ev's have quicker to 100 than supercars. Or what about a sandman ute which only had a tag on it but it was classed as sports model. This government is fucken dumb.
lol 😂
If you can afford a vehicle in this class ( I have a 730 hp R35 GTR ), then you can afford the cheap license . Stop crying. I’m not in SA but if I moved there it wouldn’t bother me at all . I do not understand how the government thinks this will stop people driving like dick heads and crashing these types of cars though 🙄 100% of the time it’s the drivers fault, a license won’t change a thing .
Well said mate, im in the same boat, couldn't care less, if I gotta pay you drive my car so be it
So you are both happy to allow the government to tell you what buttons and functions you can and cannot use despite them being standard option's???
@ yea for sure mate , it’s not exactly expensive. & if it means we can use our cars then so be it .
Could be the thin edge of the wedge - whats the next thing these clowns are going to implement?
@@farnthboy they do need a driving test before you can get the license, and a minimum number of years on a full licence before you can get it .
What about electric cars, they are way faster?
who knows
No more.
It goes off factory specs ya goose. Unless you tell the cops they don't know sh!t how much power you have and they will defect you in doing so.. 😑
Strange - this is from the actual licence website ( and shown in the video ) -
if your vehicle is older than this, or has been "modified", you can calculate your vehicle’s power to weight ratio using the following formula:
And again , a defect sticker will be given , and you would have to take it in to get it tested at the governments testing
Walloped on back of head by Billy club.."where's your gold mining licence??" Not replying?? resisting.
