Curtis I drive a 2006 VE Calais and they actually have three horns. That one up in the engine bay is for when you just lock the car and it chirps the horn, which is slightly quieter than the main horns. The main ones are down behind either side of the bumper like the VF. A low and a high tone which sound together when you press the actual horn or the alarm goes off.

Curtis your mother would be absolutely disgusted if she heard the kind of language you were using here.

As a VF II Redline owner I couldn't sit through the dribble that you just delivered. That should have been a 30 second video.

The horn was moved for accident reasons, now where they are placed in the VE VF models. If the car gets into an accident, the horn should short out and sound off to alert people. If you are hurt and out of it.

VE has two horns (high and low pitch).Which are both under the bumper on each side . I think the horn under the bonnet is for the alarm ( someone correct me if im wrong)

The thing with Class actions is , yes they suck for the people affected getting little to no compensation and the only ones who really win are the lawyers. However without class action lawsuits company's have nothing stopping them from screwing the average person over.

There should be a class action on how easily they can be stolen ! Many cars were unnecessarily stolen that shouldn’t have been if they had better security .

I see people have said to just service your auto more often, absolutely agree with this, however. The 6L50 used in the Colorado/colorado7/Trailblazer has a failing in the valve body. These cars were advertised by sprooking a class leading 500nm and 3.5 tonne tow capacity. The symptoms are exacerbated under towing conditions - which the car was advertised to do. Holden gave up warranting trans/torque converter replacements as the company was slowing up and would, if lucky, offer a triple flush. I think this may have some legs about it, wait and see I guess.

Hi l have a zb 2018 commodore v6 9 speed auto it has shutter in the gear box it’s been there since for aro7nd 50.000 ks so far would this be fair to say it be covered we are a retired couple so it does get looked after and get what it needs just putting it out there as have to say this is very upsetting as we thought this would be our last car ?

So people are having problems with a 14 year old gearbox better do a Class action against Ford for the BTR 4 speed auto,s and the faulty heads on the intech.

I take this class action as a joke. My family & I have several of the mentioned Holdens, not one of the mentioned problems

I've got a vf ssv red line 2016 automatic 2 years ago coped it nice transmission went on 12000km 6k to fix it from Mantello Holden Roxburgh park

What about the GM6T30 gearboxes we having the exact same problem just cost $2500 for the same thing high in revs before changing doesn't change gear smoothly shutters torque converter went replace it gearbox leaked fixed it gearbox went can't win hasn't even got 130xxxks

All this will do is two things 1) Make the Lawyers Rich 2) Drop by way more than any iffy compo the value of these used Holdens. Just because people can't service their autos extra frequently in certain driving conditions in most cases.

What a joke. The firm will take 98.9% of any payout and you won’t get enough to buy a can of coke. The whole class action regieme in Australia is a farce and used to suck in the weak of mind. Be good if the firms would actually support claims that were in need of support to change government or cooperate coverups

This might not be the best theft deterrent device, but I just had a thought, and that would be to add a battery kill switch that is wired to the security system so that when the immobiliser senses that the car is being hotwired, it will cut the power to the ignition, ruining their plans for a quick getaway.

What I don't understand is why no class action against BMW, Mercedes or the VW group as they build the worst quality/reliability cars know to man.

I guess this would not apply to cars that have been modified
