We always stop by the 4 Queens whenever we are Downtown. Love Magnolia's and Hugo's Cellar. Good tour but you forgot to show the Silver Strike slot machines which are a novelty since you can win souvenir coins.
GREAT DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS 4 QUEENS VIDEO. THAT’S MY FAVORITE PLACE IN ALL OF LAS VEGAS. I FLY OUT ONCE A MONTH , STAY AT THE FOUR QUEENS AND PLAY VIDEO POKER AT THE PALACE BAR OR KINGS BAR FOR PROBABLY ABOUT 6-8 HOURS EACH DAY I’M THERE. LOVE THE FOOD CHOICES AND THE OLD SCHOOL VIBE ALONG WITH THE BEST CASINO EMPLOYEES IN LAS VEGAS. MOST HAVE BEEN THERE FOR DECADES AND LOVE THEIR JOB. THE NORTH TOWER IS STILL SHUT DOWN FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS OR SO WHILE THEY ARE DOING A 25 MILLION DOLLAR TOTAL REMODEL. THE NORTH TOWER OF THE 4 QUEENS WAS OPENED IN JUNE OF 1966 SO WE HAVE SOME MAJOR LAS VEGAS HISTORY THERE. THE SECOND TOWER BUILT, THE SOUTH TOWER WAS OPENED IN ABOUT 1981 OR SO. Having been to Vegas many times and what the prices are currently I am definitely now a downtown guy for my home base. Everything is much closer to walk to and now with Circa there are two Strip caliber places to stay at instead of just one with the Golden Nugget. The gambling is just much better and cheaper drinking and some cool bars around the area. I guess it depends what you go to Vegas for. I mostly go with friends to gamble and stay up late drinking and partying and maybe get a nice steak one night. The Strip just gets exhausting especially in the summer months. Plus, all of these new Strip hotels are beginning to look the same to me. You can always take an uber to the Strip one day. Sorry for the ramble. 4 Queens is a great place to gamble with many old school slots.
