Compare that to kazuya , who only has a sabaki and a powercrush. Dvj is not weak bcs of the lack of panic buttons, he's weak bcs all of his buttons are trash

awesome video fury as per usual. but for me an optimal ewgf combo that I prefer over the 1:00 combo you showed is lazer into double ws3 - mc3 - ssl - ws3 again into mc 4 2 1+2. its more consistent imo, does 85 dmg. good especially for those more comfortable with iws3 than they are with ws1
Very informative combo guide! Also 1:08 doesn't require starting on the left axis, it works on axis provided you delay MC4 as late as possible. But it doesn't work if you start on the right axis

I was just messing around with different combos after SS2, U1+2 laser and just sort of did this by chance and then carried on doing it once i figured out what i was pressing on the controller.
Well he has many wall combos for oki, his down laser for example, best if you do it after DF3,2,4 bound, because this bound also sets up his guard break charge punch) you can dash quickly after it and do B4 and it covers all options basically if you time it correctly, but ofc they can techroll and block it, but you are safe doing it and you can mix it up with other moves, he also has U1+2 > DF4, MC1(Low wallsplat, ssr before), 1,1 > D1, WR3(Low wallsplat) which are set up a B4 or a low 50/50(DB2, or D3, after MC1 it requires a small ssr to connect), and stuff like that, you can also do hellsweep laser bound into kicharge setup at the wall(B4 should never whiff), you can also do 3,1 and quickly sidestep where you think your opponent will techroll and do the D1+2 laser(There's so many things you can do with 3,1 to mix them up tbh), WS2(Low wallsplat) or 3,1,2 sets up an UF1 oki situation on techroll(Can be ducked ofc). And there's many-many uninterruptable wall combo setups which guarantise MC3 for a little chipdmg. Doing his Heat Smash as a wall combo also gives some oki, B1+2 hits if they don't techroll, you can do MC3(backdash before so it connects consistently), guard break punch, or a knowledge checky unblockable laser(Can only be ducked, making the charge up punch a bit harder to beat I guess, lol).

recently picked up devil jin and loving him and started maining him , but im having trouble with some of hix combos (everything insta clicked (im kinda new to tekken)) but the hopkick man HOW TF DO I HIT THAT at 1:51 , everytime he does the hellsweep i think its called? or a low kick , i know it activates if u go from down to neutral position and then mid u use the kick but i just cant land it man (on controller)

no joke i say it as it is devil jin has so crazy problems with grey health hellsweep into combo makes zero sense except you can include rage art. i rather take the 35 flat dmg than the 40+ with 80% grey health
@@sizzle5775 so basically devil has a ws3 which can only be used obviously from ws but if you hold 3 then input f n qcf4 while holding down 3 then it will give you an instant ws3 everytime. With that being said in the combo as you can see he preholds the input during another moves animation so he can have it ready. Hope this helps I saw no one commented so I decided to 👍

devil jin is high demand low return character for now. it's best to use WS3 tech only in u1+2 combo routes, rest of the combos aren't meant to be used in real match as mentioned in the video

7:27 b+4 isn't guaranteed here, it can be siderolled
I know a long wall carry combo, 84 dmg, the ender is kinda hard to land, EWGF > U1+2 > deep dash WS3 > B~F2,1,D2 > dash U1+2 > dash DF3,2,4
Remember that most of dvj gameplan at the wall revolve around using db1+2

For the love of god I cannot hit the true combo with ws3 in the hard combo (0:37). If I set the cpu to tech roll it escapes...
