Just so you know. When you hold B, you go into quantum mode, but it's also your navigation mode. So you want to use that mode whenever you are not in combat, as you go faster in that mode. There are 2 master modes. SCM (combat mode) and NAV (navigation/quantum). While in NAV or SCM mode, you can hit the middle mouse button to switch between missiles, guns, quantum, and scan.
Hey Goodish. I'm starting to watch your video... We will see if I can get the whole way through... Hoping you Nailed It!
You can refuel at that big distribution center. The game has changed SIGNIFICANTLY while you have absent. And you refuel at ANY mining outpost.
You sound very similar to Robbie Daymond, voice behind one of the male Helldivers voices, alongside a ton of other roles, but I dont remember them
Best laugh I've had all week. 😆
I like that you went in blind but you got really lucky with the very first mission you blindly picked just happening to lead you to one of the coolest new additions.
But then you mess up and just ignore it and go off to find something that doesn't exist and never did.
So good to see ya back online and in SC to boot. 😎
Ayyyy my boy!!
It's always fun to see you playing, because you wonder just like I would in a new game
3.23.1 will be out tonight.
Welcome back citizen, a ton of controls have changed. With the hand package deliveries, you have to interact with the spot on the shelf it will go not the package itself like when you put them in delivery machines if you ever did those. The markers are sometimes hard to see on the shelves. There will be a little F interaction marker appearing when you are looking at it and close enough to place it. For certain interactions that have menus you can change the default F key primary default action and secondary default action from the radial menu if its allowed. Tapping F triggers primary action and holding F triggers secondary action when applicable. The F interaction flags appear if they are near your aim crosshair position and in range to use.
Welcome to all new SC. 😎
Nice one.
Just a tip, with master modes there are different speed limits to to each mode, SCM mode is "combat mode" you have shields and weapons but a low top speed, if you are flying 200km to an objective flip it into NAV mode and your top speed will be much higher but you will no access to shields a weapons, if you want to get rid of the Quantum markers while in nav mode hit middle mouse button to switch between NAV-QTM and NAV-FLT
Welcome back to the 'verse, Goodish! But you think that fessing up to not having the HOTAS setup yet is gonna stop me from yelling at the screen anyway? I thought you knew me better than that..... 😋
Given the number of changes since you last played, you really should have done the tutorial to familiarize yourself with the new key binds and so on. I don't know if there's a way to start the tutorial manually, since it's intended as a one-shot for new players... 🤔 You should get with Lexxor when you can; I'm pretty sure he'd be happy to help walk you through things & show you stuff that you might have missed... 😉
Don't you just love how even after all this development time, NPCs *still* stand on top of tables.... 🤣
The Xenothreat Overdrive Initiative mission that you got was the start of a bunch of pre-Xenothreat event missions that are tied into it, but don't stop you from doing the actual event, which will take place after Invictus has completed.
I was so looking forward to your reaction to the map. 😆
The facility at around 39:40 or so is one of the new (huge) distribution facilities.
NAV mode is for traveling, whether you are using QT or not. You will fly much faster, though you can't have shields at the same time. Just FYI
Pro tip, flying full speed in NAV mode and then switching to SCM (combat) mode will drop your speed really fast. It's like a better space brake.
You just need to learn master modes, takes time.
DAVE!
Few mins in and you did not pick TUTORIAL?
Is this going to be LEGANDARYY!
You are flying around in combat mode all the time ( shields up ) so you are flying at the slowest speed ( apart from gear down mode ) .. switch to navigation / travel mode and you can fly faster
Goodish, raise you landing gear and you will go faster
Yea CIG made the clouds better.
I was thinking surely he followed the updates and is just putting on a show.
*Proceeds to fly around in SCM* 😐
