I run it at 60+fps very high presets on a 11th gen cpu and a RTX 3060 with 32gb of fairly slow RAM. I've paid collectively for my rig probably around 800-900€ over the course of a couple of years (only thing I didn't buy was the tower) which also includes living In one of the most taxed countries on earth. Today you could probably get my entire setup for 500-600€, minus taxes specific to my country ~300-400€
Enjoyed this, so much so that I took my ROC out today after not using it for maybe 10mths. I also made the same mistake you did and flew way too fast into the moon (Calliope), thankfully I managed to stop it and levelled out at 300m 🤣 Mining seems to be working so much better now though, used to love it until; the ROC just didn't work anymore, so look forward to more :D
I used to be so good at hot drops! I’m either out of touch or master modes has changed how the MSR flys 😅
@@CaptainAshtro it creeps up so fast now, atmosphere has changed I think, it’s definitely different.
Question for ya. I fly a Cutlass Black and almost NEVER see gems until it’s too late. Does the MSR have a better scanner with a better range? It kinda looked like you were headed towards an unknown marker when you flew over the gems. 1:29:52

@2:10:00 Not sure what all this dude was talkin about but the prospector cannot mine gems. The Prospector is for mid sized mining and uses size 1. The ROC is a Size 0.
Also, you do NOT have to refine anything from the prospector, you can just sell outright to a refinery for HALF it's value...But I would say that, currently, the Prospector isn't worth using....The ROC can make MUCH more per hour.
Just gone back and rewatched. I definitely never said gems could be mined with a Prospector, and I definitely never said you HAVE to refine anything mined with a Prospector, only that refining and transporting is risky if they choose to do so.
