I recommend you to read Centuria, it's like a mix of berserk and vinland saga and Hero organisation, it has a crazy plot twist and it's really good, both of em can be found on manga plus
Couldn't agree with you more on bugle call. The use of panelling to showcase the powers and, the use of these powers is so novelle new: like the mirror arc. Wow. Really one of my favorite reads that I would put up there with the top books I read this year and it's only getting started!
I’ve read most of these. They were interesting, but I’ve had others that really drew me in. One of my favorite hidden gems currently is A Cave King’s Road to Paradise. Like one of the others mentioned, it takes around a month to get a new chapter, but it’s such a fun read. No spoilers as it’s a fun world building story that shocks me in how it goes about doing it. Another one I’m enjoying that you may also enjoy is Akuninzura shita B-kyuu Boukensha. Now, I have no idea what the title says, but is a more fun take on “transported to a game” in a sense. Our MC didn’t really play the game, but somehow either died or was transported to this world. It’s never really shown or explained. What is true though is our MC is grown up and looks like a villain. He decides to take in some kids as his own kids and becomes a father to the orphans. It’s a fun wholesome (albeit a bit gory) story (so far as it’s not many chapters).
For fantasy manga, i HIGHLY recommend Magus of The Library. No joke, best fantasy manga out rn. Also has a secret "hook" for anybody who can catch it. It really is a manga that is HIGHLY recommended for people who love reading novels, since that's basically what the mc's overall goal is, it's tied to novels. Its also why i bring up the secret "hook". It has everything a fantasy fan SHOULD want in a story, political intrigue, a solid magic system, lots of lore and unexplained stuff on the actual setting that's done RIGHT, a lot of greatly explored stuff into religion and WHY ceetain people of certain religions act a certain way, as well as this really cool segement on banned books and how the ideas of said books can change the world around you. Seriously, read it. Hell, just read part 1, which is only 12 chapters, that arc alone clears so many first time manga arcs in the current manga landscape. The only real problem i have is that the current character design for certain creatures are just a tad generic. But don't mistake that for bad art, the art is FIRE. TLDR: READ IT.
Eeeh its not really the best thing Ive read or even close tbh. Its still amazing dont get me wrong. But since Ive read a lot of mangas or stories in general it wont be the best one for me. Its still VERY good though. Im thoriughly enjoying it. And Im still glad its your favourite cuz thats very good taste still.
As somebody with several Williams in my family myself included, I can already see in the world of no name, one of us, perhaps having a healing Factor, another having a stand, and a third who might create protective barriers.
The witch and the beast is so good honestly since the mangas is in hiatus by kosuke satake I hope he is doing well so that he can resume his manga the art is incredible and the arcs so interesting
One of my most favorite recent underrated manga is called Phantom Busters, and there isn't any official English translation yet, but you can read it on any, ahem "alt sites", and I think it is just so damn good. From the very beginning, it reminded me of JJK, so when I find out the author is a huge JJK fan, I'm just like yup. But this manga just feels better than JJK, like the beginning it starts off with this character who eats a ghost to exorcise it and that reminded me of Yuji eating Sukuna's finger in order to exorcise that cursed spirit. But, in Phantom Busters, it is that character's power. And the whole plot is pretty simple where the characters just exorcise a bunch of ghosts. But, like they're formed of these four high school boys, most of them with supernatural powers that help to exorcise ghosts. And I don't want to spoil too much, but it is just so well-written with its meta jokes and really beautiful friendship. I literally binged it yesterday and I'm waiting eagerly for the next chapters. Anyway, I'm gonna check out like every single manga in this video.
Knew almost besides the Manga 4 7:39 Thanks for the Time Stamps but watched the entirety :D Bro you Quality is incredible especially the Good Lighting.
Yeah these are definitely great picks, and sensou kyoshitsu (the bugle call) has been getting translated pretty quickly recently. The number of chapters don’t seem that much but each chapter is pretty long and it’s definitely on top of my list amongst all the newer mangas. Sad the witch and the beast has been in hiatus for a couple years now I really wanted to see more of it. For a newer series I’ll say is worth checking out is blade&bastard manga adaptation by kumo kagyu(goblin slayer) now that the anime got announced (much earlier than I expected.) It’s set in the world of wizardry, quite literally the grandfather of and the reason why the whole concept of dungeons in fantasy is so popular in Japan. Really fun read, the light novel is really good and even better if you’ve played the wizardry games (especially 1 and 2 or the remake, it’s legitimately the same dungeon layout.) so I’m excited to see what comes next. And for the most underrated series of all time, Toaru Majutsu no Index, the one piece of light novel both in length and fame as well as popularity in east Asia. Got shafted by the anime adaptation but the manga is still going strong with a bunch of spin-offs like Railgun. Genuinely some of the greatest world building, power systems (plural), creative fights, hype moments, and setups with payoffs like no other. It has about 200 chapters of the fairly decent manga adaptation (up to vol ~17 skipping vol 2 and 4) and 56 main volumes of the light novel, definitely worth checking out and if you like the manga 100% recommend the light novel since its even better and continues the story.
In No/ Name was the bear girl born with the bear ears or was named first. Because it would be funny the parents seeing bear ears but thinking of a dog so they named her some kind of dog breed. Would she still turn into a bear or turn into a dog.
I wanna read the electric one but it has Yuri vibes and Im not much of a Yuri reader lol so someone confirm if it is. Also yeah everyone read Centuria thats a good one, and ONES other manga, which is peek beyond all, Verseus.
I read gokurakugai and tbh a pretty mid in terms of storytelling and worldbuilding, the pacing is presentable at best in contrast to the artwork and fight scene which for me is pretty lacking that you assume filled up with hard hitting drama and suspense like gachi akuta or deadman wonderland but no pretty bland in the long run and they need to add more seasoning to the writing, still the manga is new its still have potential though. My criticism was subjective but truth must be told as reader
Really cool video! Had The Witch and the Beast on my list for some time, guess it's time to start reading it. Although I gotta say, the background music at the Erio to Denki Ningyou had me distracted (being the brazillian nation anthem lol)
I wouldn't rly call any of these manga "underrated" besides like no/name cause a lot of these series are either talked a bout a good amount/well received, have an anime or an official English release. Just cause a series isn't talked about as much as something like dandadan or jjk doesn't make it "underrated". But if you want some real underrated stuff (series that already ended) I'd definitely say to give skeleton double, saike matashitemo, tripeace, and itsuwaribito a read

That manga goes hard.

the witch and the beast is on a indefinite hiatus unfortunately cause of the authors health
Legit got me tweaking when I found out a couple of months ago when I caught up lmao
I had no idea, that's very frustrating. Hopefully they get better
@@austineis3790 plus it ended on a nasty cliffhanger 😭

GOKURAKUGAI MENTIONED!!! Loved the one shot and I’m reading it every new chapter comes out!! The art is amazingly good, Yuto Sano is a god
No/name was so good I binged it all in one sitting. Really feels like it was left on a cliffhanger.
