It's important to wear ear protection. I forgot to wear my earplugs on my Panigale a couple of daylong trips and they caused me tinnitus (permanent and irreversible inner ear damage.)
LED indicators are factory Ducati. The fronts are an easy fit, but the rears required a rubber shim around the base for them to stay in place without rotating.

They are in the $1400 range new (with a discount). Ordered from Pure Ducati in Florida. The system comes with new Mapping for the computer, so you will have to take the bike in to a Dealer to have the software installed unless you happen to know how to load it yourself! You will be amazed at how much more power the 1200 has over the 696!

Thanks for posting this....Are those stock bars with a Rizoma mirror? I've been trying to find out which adaptor is needed in order to fit a Rizoma mirror without having to change out the bar.
Yes, those are Rizoma Mirrors with the stock handlebars..The adapter needed is part #LP200B . The mirrors are polarized with a bluish tint. They are convex so you have to get used to them, but they don't vibrate really at all so they are functional.
Precision Piano Services Once you removed your stock mirrors, how did you secure your fluid tanks back? The stock bolt is to long to work without the stock mirrors in place..It's hard to see but it looks like you have some kind of cap there now or adapter.
layoutman69 I made a shim out of a piece of steel tubing to take up the space of the longer bolt. You can also try to find some new shorter bolts, but they will be metric which can be a PITA to find locally in the USA. Also, the right hand side bolt is REVERSE THREAD and can be even harder to find in Metric size.

Jo is 170cm tall. She sits almost flat footed when stationary. You need to go and check out the new seat adjustment system on the bike. When I want to ride, I simply raise the seat back up and it is perfect for me 190cm. If you want it even lower, you can order a factory seat that is even thinner than the stock one.

The reservoirs are all red, the frame plugs are red, the rear seat cowl is carbon with red accents, the calipers have red. Might even do a red chain and red stripes on the rims at some point. She's Ducati die-hard for sure!
That mesh jacket is a bigger crime. If she comes off wearing that it'll melt and cook into her skin. It's not pretty when it happens. Perforated leather is the way to go. Very nice bike, though. Perfectly bassy.

I've had it for a year and a half and I've had no problems at all. I'm not aware of any serious issues in this model so far either. Best looking naked bike on the market in my opinion, together with the BMW NineT.
Put 8k miles on mine so far, keeps getting better and better. One of the most underrated bikes on the market IMO, it got a warm reception from journalists but seemed to be ignored wayyy too much by the average rider considering how amazing it is.
No need to lower the bike via the suspension anymore. The seat has multiple levels of height you can choose from, and you can also purchase thinner seats from Ducati. Jo is 5'7 and the bike fits her fine at lowest seat height.

Akrapovic are cheaper and they sound better in my opinion! I have this same bike and just put pipes on it.

They can be slightly annoying in traffic. They don't fold in as easily as some other brand mirrors.

Jo is 5'8" long torso, short legs. The seat is adjustable quite a bit so it is great for shorter riders. Nothing like a Ducati!
