We are back in The Hidden World (Mutant Universe) with the next mutant! Meet The Nurse, formerly known as Alma Wright. I hope you like The Nurse!! You might notice she shares some similarities with The Seamstress, and there's a reason for that. The Nurse was actually designed before The Seamstress, originally intended for release that week. I decided to turn her into The Seamstress instead and held off on unveiling The Nurse due to their likeness. I thought at the time The Seamstress would be more impactful. However, I feel now is the perfect time to introduce The Nurse. In a way, the two of them are like sisters. Thanks for being here! ❤

I just realized this is the first mutant we've seen without a little skull somewhere. Wonder if the Nurse hides it as a way to trick her more 'simple-minded' victims. Like; oh this nice (but a little weird) nurse has come to help me. I don't see a skull like all the other mutants on her, so she much be safe - enough... [It's the Hidden World. Are you ever fully safe there?]
Nurses in the Victoria era, couldn't have visible buttons on their clothing. So it is very likely that the skull button is hidden underneath the flaps of the clothing. This was to make sure nothing got stuck on the buttons and cause further harm to the patients.
Crows eye production has a great video of a nurse clothing during WW1, that does explain it better than I do.

You nailed the ghostly vibe! Her apron really gives her movement and looks like she’s floating. So good, as always.✨🌟💀
i love the nurse. has all the predispositions of being a good character, but twist of fate made her a villain instead. very nice!
Very nice. As a nurse I approve (😂like you needed my approval). I love her overall appearance.
My only suggestion is she’s lacking in a few medical supplies perhaps vintage hot water bottle tucked into arm area, a thermometer 🌡️ in a pocket. Bedpan? Bandages.
I like the monochrome lacking color, of the nurse, it reminds me of a vintage X-ray images on slides/plates 🩻 .

I love this. It’s been a while since there was a Mutant that fit into the Universe imo. While they were all good sculpts, I thought they were not true to form for the Universe you’ve created. She fits perfectly.
some of the latest are more up front about being monsters which make the world look more lively like all of them can't be experts of trickery like the nanny no way she foolin anyone one and thats okay cause she can go invis

her design might not be my all-time favorite (still very cool though!) but GOD do i love her backstory
Fanfreakingtastic! I will say it is my favorite out of all of them. I do have a question though...I thought you said that her armband cross and her lip stitch line would be red but I didn't notice that on her "mouth." You need to write a blog with the ultimate outcome to be creating a colored book that has pictures of each character with their backstory and then you can create categories to explain the different types of people in the hidden world. I know it would be ever evolving but then you could do volumes that include the new characters every so often. Just a thought.

I'm quite intrigued by her design! Also ever since i started watching your videos i started getting more inspired to do clay sculpture's though I'm not really a professional yet, I'll get there sometime! Next: The Puppeteer!!!! A man who possess the power to create a puppet and controls people similar to the puppet. Like an HP Imperius and a Voodoo doll made of wood (Pinocchio type, maybe)

Cool sculpt! I'm surprised that you made to suture holes around her lips but didn't place any sutures over her lips like you have in the past. Not a big deal as the overall effect is still spooky.
Love her just as I knew I would. I'm so glad you used your airbrush to do the base and build up. I'm ready to paint my sculpture soon and I really want to use my airbrush but I haven't used one in at least 18 years lol. Gave me a confidence boost!

She needs a tiny skull button; either on her hat, or in the middle of the cross on her armband.
You make it look so easy but I know doing this sort of craft isn't as easy as you make it look. She's definitely not someone I'd want to run into in a dark alley.
I wonder if her opposite would be a doctor or maybe an undertaker, considering she’s trying to cheat death?

Hi, just one question I hope you can answer. Does the part that you already baked get overcooked? Because I can see in the video that you’re baking it everytime you finish a part of the sculpture. Sorry I am new to clay sculpture
I've done sculpting before and the answer is no, at least with the clay he uses. As long as you bake for the proper time and temperature and let it cool down between each bake, you should be good. It can burn if cooked too hot or too long though
